Hi Keagan, I am using an 8ft Rod and I am running 20lb fluorocarbon leader and 20lb braid. The lure I use is a 20gm silver/prism ticer. Cheers

You can fish anywhere in Kaikoura and get a similar result to what I had. There is no real special place. It's more about timing.
