I just found your channel. I love your ring, and also your teaching style. I went to look for more of your videos and I saw that your last video was 11 months ago. I know that I’m being selfish but are you planning to post anymore? 😊

Haha thanks! I am planning on making more videos soon. I've been so busy with work and my apprenticeship I haven't had time to make a video. Currently between workspaces as well. I'm hoping to share some of my progress soon!

I love the ring, can you really go back in and add solder to fill the seem? Any suggestions if I don’t have a rolling mill?

Oh yeah you can always add more solder as long as you have a tight seam. Any of this is tough to accomplish without a rolling mill. My advice is to save up for one you can afford and then upgrade when you can. Or just save for a nice one

If you can get it hot enough. If it's butane probably not but it's worth a try

Hi Cody, cool ring - I like your video!
What type of solder do you use? You mentioned that the soldered seems break. Take care, Rebecca (ATBer)

Hi Rebecca! I'm using silver hard solder when I make Cuban chain. Ran out of time to make that in this video 😂. I might try it today. Any tips are welcome!

@@codydagutis6639 Hi Cody, Hard solder sounds like the right thing to use. Depending on the force used, the solder joint should be the weakest part of the link.
