For over a decade, i have been a blademith, making swords, axes, knives, all kinds of sharp stuff. This is a great video that was shot very well. Your shop is on point, and your work tables are very efficiently laid out. Loved that all the work was done by hand. I would rate this video a 10 out of 10. Awesome job
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience as a bladesmith! It truly means a lot coming from someone with your expertise. I’m thrilled you enjoyed the video and appreciated the setup and craftsmanship. Your feedback inspires me to keep creating! Wishing you continued success with your incredible work!
Thank you for your comment! It’s amazing to hear that the ring sparks some fantasy inspiration. If your sorcerer ends up wearing something like this, let me know-I’d love to see it!

Thank you for subscribing! I hope you enjoy my other works as well. You are probably referring to the patina solution. It’s a special composition that helps oxidize silver and copper.
What brand of rolling mill are you using? I appreciate what you give freely through this video, regardless of any response or not to my question. All the best to you.
Thank you for your kind words! The rolling mill I use is a local production brand that isn’t available on the global market. However, there are many great alternatives that you can easily find from well-known manufacturers. Let me know if you need suggestions, and I’ll be happy to help! All the best to you too!
Рекомендовал бы розовый отбел от Сапфира(порошок). Работает нахолодную и не парит, чем выжигать себе легкие парами кипящей лимонки. Поверьте, пульмонологи одобряют.
Nice! I’m really interested in that torch system you’re using, I cannot understand what you’re pumping with your foot? I know it’s something to do with the oxy/fuel but they’re in pressurized tanks right? Thank you, could you clarify my ignorance?
Thank you for your interest! The foot pump you’re seeing is part of the air control system for the torch. It regulates airflow, which helps me fine-tune the flame for precision work. The oxygen and fuel indeed come from pressurized tanks, but the pump gives me extra control over the intensity and balance of the flame while I’m working. I hope this clears up any confusion!
Thanks for the quick response! I didn’t expect that. I still have no idea how pumping with your foot adjusts the pressure instead of turning a knob but I’ll sub and maybe in your future videos I’ll get a better idea. Thanks again 🫡
I tried a twisted wire ring a few days ago, my issue seems to be the soldering process. I use soft solder and before it melts or "takes" the heat removes the plate from the wire affecting the whole look.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It sounds like the soldering process is indeed causing some challenges. Using a heat-resistant soldering block or clamp might help stabilize the wire and plate during soldering. You could also try using a medium or hard solder, as they require higher temperatures and may prevent premature movement of the plate.
While the channel is still growing, I’m not selling anything yet, but I plan to in the future. I’m really glad you liked it! Subscribe to stay updated.
Thank you for your comment! These elements in the video are part of its artistic side. Since it’s not purely an educational video but also an entertaining one.

This is a pretty cool ring. I'm an aspiring fantasy writer and I can definitely see a sorcerer wearing a ring like that.

Awesome. What gauge are you using for the twisting wire and the core?
Thank you! I usually use wire between 20-22 gauge for twisting, and the core can be around 18 gauge depending on the design.

Sería increíble si tuviera algunas gemas incrustadas donde van los ojos.
Thank you for your idea. Yes, we could have at least added it to the eyes. We’ll keep it in mind for future projects.
عالی

Thank you for the advice! We’ll try to find this composition.
@@jewelator "…nothing gave away the fact that Stirlitz was a spy - neither the Soviet equipment, nor the inscriptions on the containers in Russian" ))
What gage wire did you use?
You can use wire with a thickness of 0.5-1 mm. The size of the scales on the ring will depend on this.
@@jewelatorTy:) you do beautiful work!
thanks)
In general what size is a wire do you use and what length
You can use wire with a thickness of 0.6-1 mm. Take the length with some extra to spare; you can simply cut off the excess.
Beautiful work 👏. I am just worried, copper will oxidise
Thank you for your support! Yes, there is a high chance that copper will oxidize, but it can be coated with lacquer.

Why would you mix silver and copper? Cool design but do gold if you can. Gold won't turn your skin green.
Thank you for the suggestion! I mix silver and copper for their unique aesthetic contrast, but gold is definitely a great idea for future designs
