You all are my favorites, such motivation. I’m almost 40 with a 5 year old and 1 year old, recently stopped working to do more selling and it’s been hard to just do it.
What a motivating vide! I find for me, when my sales are down I don't list, or push sales and it really affects my growth, I've been sitting at about 350 active for a year. And I sometimes will go weeks to a month without listing. I find its hard to be motivated when sales are down!

I have a death pile of items I need to fix, because I have sewing skills I give almost every other item a chance to be fixed and listed. So my February goal will be about be able to repair all clothes I have in my death pile. 🤞😅

I've loved you and Lori since the very beginning of my resale journey. In fact you were the first two besides empty hanger that I actually followed. So thank you so much. This video was very reassuring to me, again with my ADHD I see a lot of my traits in you guys as well, then it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who deals with some of the struggles but also looks at them as something really cool and proud to have
Commenting as I watch :) I have to laugh Lori because I say "girls" all the time too, my Mom has three caregivers now 21, 25 & 35 & me on the weekends, & I'm calling them "girls" because I'm 53 now, going on 54 (NO clue how that happened, lol). You both are bringing up such great points! Becky & Lori, yeah, wait til' you get to full-on mid-life & it does something where that ADHD brain just screams out loud, lol, totally not diagnosed either but as a former psychotherapist I know I am ;) lol. It's why I've always talked a lot, I found out that many gals with ADHD talk a lot vs boys who act out & more action-oriented. I'd LOVE you both to do this more often :)
I’ve got 2 under 5 and it’s so hard to get work done. I just had a sick kid at home yesterday and really had to learn to breathe and have the patience to say “this is where I am right now and they need my full attention” I can work later.

Lori I am the same age at you, but have four kids age 18 down to 8. Feeling old. Work part time as a nurse. Single momming. Part time reselling. Lyme disease. Its a lot. I appreciate you. And you too Becky!!

I had (still have, it plays hide & seek) Lyme Disease about 3 years after I got mono, haven't been healthy since & I was 15y/o for mono & 18 for Lyme :( After 30 years of long-haul symptoms. I had to close my former psychotherapy practice & I can't even do reselling from home full time, etc., & with the "c-vid" still around I wear 3 masks when I go out & am essentially permanently isolated except for caregiving for my elderly parents. Reselling is keeping me sane, lol. :)
@@michellecd4722 I am so sorry! I got diagnosed in 2020 but I believe that I’ve had it since 2015. I also have ebv and some coinfections. Trying to find help for treatment has been very hard and I don’t have the money to do the treatment that I need. Ever day I wonder if this is the day that I won’t be able to get out of bed (some days I don’t) or if I’ll have to move in with my parents so they can help me. I take it day by day. But sometimes I am pretty scared for my future.
I started reselling about the same time as both of you. My 2 oldest (of 6) are in college & I do this to help keep them out of debt. We do not want them to take out loans. So far so good! I get a kick out of reselling. You two keep me motivated!

The 2 of you, are me wrapped into 1 person. I can not for the life of me stay organized, on topic, or finish anything. i always take on new tasks and dive all the way in and then get bored super easy. Plus Lori one time we determined your anniversary is my bday and my sons birthday is the same as yours. so basically we are the same person.
My 2 faves chatting it out!! I swear we are probably a bigger portion of the reseller world than we know as in not organized, spontaneous, etc. And I grew up shopping at GW & SA with my mom, after my parents divorced early in my childhood it became a necessity along with frozen food and boxed dinners. I think it was a large part of growing my creativity. 🕉☯️☮
You 2 are the very best, u are some of my 2 favorite ppl, omg this is SO exciting! Diagnosed Adhd side hustle reseller here, and I for SURE think its a great trait for reselling- i bounce around in what categories I focus on, which just helps me be more knowledgable/diverse. Sure I have a death pile of 300+, but in contrast to the 10k other hobbies I’ve gotten obsessed with, this in the only one that has stuck for longer than 6 months at best!

I love this! I feel better that two of my resellers I watch and like are like me! I get bored…sooo many things I’ve done; I have ADD so the attention span is not there; every time my mom asks if I’m still doing that reselling thing lol she has something to give me but waits for it to pass; she always seems surprised when I say yes! And hands me stuff….two years almost! I have not done lives…yet.. I do love watching all the content even if I’m not interested in a facet bc sometimes that changes as I watch. I have not done much youtube yet; definitely not huge on being on camera and the editing actually scares me. I have one haul one short and a haul that is half edited 🤦♀️But I do feel that someone might relate to me and feel encouraged. I feel encouraged that you both are like that and yet do so well! Life long thrifter since I could walk but never knew I could make money doing it ! Too perfect!
I honestly think Becky is a Wonder Woman, like Lori said jungle all the things in her life, I have full time job , teaching on Saturdays and “hobby reseller” but I can imagine little kids and the after school activities ❤
You two are my favorites and of course Jack and Ryan. In January I was diagnosed with inoperable cancer at that time I was given life expectancy 3 weeks so far it’s been doubled. I have so much inventory and since my energy level is low even the thought gives me stress. If any tips on get things out in bulk without to much effort would be appreciated. But mostly prayers are keeping me going. Everyone you visit is required to leave with a bag. Thinking about tread up have two older labels for them. And better then donate no matter how much in cash. Husband and I are on social security but we need both to be comfortable. Husband is a Kidney transplant from June. I love reselling so much. This is just a part of life and trying to keep positive. Hi!! I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2020 at age 40 and everything you were saying leading up to you and Lori talking about maybe having ADHD is 100% me and I was totally thinking they probably both have ADHD. I have inattentive type, which is what they used to call ADD. It turns out there are a lot of us on Poshmark that have ADHD. Imagine that! 😂
@Meghan Daniels Yes, and also a lot of the "LawTubers" so many ADHD folks are being diagnosed late in life, especially women! I've not been diagnosed but as a former psychotherapist I know I have it, especially during mid-life years of perimenopause it's unreal how noticeable it is but I wouldn't be able to handle any medications for it anyway, so need for a diagnosis at this point, I just do all the tips & tricks & all will be good enough :)
I find both women interesting and fun . Love seeing the thrift hauls . However , I can’t relate to death piles or no thrift Feb . Maybe it’s that it’s not their only source of income and have a spouse / partner etc …. It’s a business and for some of us , we treat it like one . If I didn’t source for a month or had death piles , it would literally be like talking a match to cash and watching it burn . Let’s not normalize death piles .
@Christina Slate I can see your point but for me, my "death pile" isn't a death pile it's all I've potentially got to pay my future bills. I'm on disability & am not able to list consistently because my health isn't consistent. I used to get down on myself about having them until I realized anything I owned could literally be sold to keep a roof over my head in the near future, never mind the items I bought hoping to sell. So I think having a backstock of items can be a good thing for some people, a dreaded thing for others & a luxury for others.
I actually came here to say the exact opposite. I appreciate how she sits and listens but helps pivot the conversation to be sure Lori hits on all the topics she wants her to. Great jobs, ladies! I find myself bouncing all over the place as well. I see that a lot in those paving their own way!

I love this! I feel better that two of my resellers I watch and like are like me! I get bored…sooo many things I’ve done; I have ADD so the attention span is not there; every time my mom asks if I’m still doing that reselling thing lol she has something to give me but waits for it to pass; she always seems surprised when I say yes! And hands me stuff….two years almost! I have not done lives…yet.. I do love watching all the content even if I’m not interested in a facet bc sometimes that changes as I watch. I have not done much youtube yet; definitely not huge on being on camera and the editing actually scares me. I have one haul one short and a haul that is half edited 🤦♀️But I do feel that someone might relate to me and feel encouraged. I feel encouraged that you both are like that and yet do so well! Life long thrifter since I could walk but never knew I could make money doing it ! Too perfect!
I honestly think Becky is a Wonder Woman, like Lori said jungle all the things in her life, I have full time job , teaching on Saturdays and “hobby reseller” but I can imagine little kids and the after school activities ❤
You two are my favorites and of course Jack and Ryan.
In January I was diagnosed with inoperable cancer at that time I was given life expectancy 3 weeks so far it’s been doubled. I have so much inventory and since my energy level is low even the thought gives me stress. If any tips on get things out in bulk without to much effort would be appreciated. But mostly prayers are keeping me going. Everyone you visit is required to leave with a bag. Thinking about tread up have two older labels for them. And better then donate no matter how much in cash. Husband and I are on social security but we need both to be comfortable. Husband is a Kidney transplant from June. I love reselling so much. This is just a part of life and trying to keep positive. OMG, I heard ADD for the first time from my counselor, she said same thing, I diagnosed you a long time ago. I think we might be building the true avatar for resellers, lol.
Hi!! I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2020 at age 40 and everything you were saying leading up to you and Lori talking about maybe having ADHD is 100% me and I was totally thinking they probably both have ADHD. I have inattentive type, which is what they used to call ADD. It turns out there are a lot of us on Poshmark that have ADHD. Imagine that! 😂
@Meghan Daniels Yes, and also a lot of the "LawTubers" so many ADHD folks are being diagnosed late in life, especially women! I've not been diagnosed but as a former psychotherapist I know I have it, especially during mid-life years of perimenopause it's unreal how noticeable it is but I wouldn't be able to handle any medications for it anyway, so need for a diagnosis at this point, I just do all the tips & tricks & all will be good enough :)

I've just started reselling, but as someone that's even older than you guys, I think you have a triplet out there. LOL.
I find both women interesting and fun . Love seeing the thrift hauls . However , I can’t relate to death piles or no thrift Feb . Maybe it’s that it’s not their only source of income and have a spouse / partner etc ….
It’s a business and for some of us , we treat it like one . If I didn’t source for a month or had death piles , it would literally be like talking a match to cash and watching it burn .
Let’s not normalize death piles .
@Christina Slate I can see your point but for me, my "death pile" isn't a death pile it's all I've potentially got to pay my future bills. I'm on disability & am not able to list consistently because my health isn't consistent. I used to get down on myself about having them until I realized anything I owned could literally be sold to keep a roof over my head in the near future, never mind the items I bought hoping to sell. So I think having a backstock of items can be a good thing for some people, a dreaded thing for others & a luxury for others.
I really enjoy Becky's videos, but as an interviewer, I think she needs to cut back on what she says and let the guests have more time.
I actually came here to say the exact opposite. I appreciate how she sits and listens but helps pivot the conversation to be sure Lori hits on all the topics she wants her to. Great jobs, ladies! I find myself bouncing all over the place as well. I see that a lot in those paving their own way!
I love and watch both! Lori lives in Mass near me, so this was a wonderful colab!
