Been using the green since last year on the ps5. They help me make smaller movements and get to those in between pitches that I used to drop on. These have helped me tremendously and on defense all I have to do is push the analog stick harder and it's barely noticeable

I just started using precision rings for about 2 weeks now. Ive tried all 3 and the green ones feel the best.
It took some getting used to, especially with fielding. And fielding still feels a little clunky and stiff. However, hitting feels much better. The best part is I'd instinctively jam and drop my pci when fooled on a pitch without the rings. With them, I instinctively have more control around the zone.
The worst part about the rings is reaching corners on the black, since SDS restricted full out of the zone pci placement last year.
Overall tho, precision rings and control freaks sticks will help u more than hurt your hitting. I tested 5 games with and 5 games without with around 150 AB per overall test. Some games my opponent raged quitted.
My results without yielded 34 hits in 150 AB. That's a .226 average. I know, thats not very good. Out of those 34 hits, I had 16 p/p hits.
With the rings I had 47 hits in 150 ab which is a .313 batting avg. Out of those 47 hits, I had 35 p/p.
The rings definitely are here to stay.
Maybe u could do a similar test.
Do you use the kontrol freek sticks at the same time as your precision rings or is that not possible?

I bought the precision rings after seeing your video and omg it fells like every time I think I got under the ball I end up with a perfect perfect.
I have the Fusion Pro 3, never thought of stacking two which explains why one doesn't make any difference. I use a single purple atm.

I used precision rings in 23 very helpful but i recomendé using two controllers lol one for pitching and fielding other for just batting
Do you need 2 of them or is that just what you do? (Never mind I watched the end of the video😅) This was so cool to see such good hitting! I think I might have to order some of these!
I ripped mine at the top so its easy to slip on and off. It also makes it easier to run back on fly balls but still gives the benefit while hitting.
I’ve used the black ones, once they break in, fielding isn’t as tough to move the stick as you think
Adam the black is for Xbox it’s bigger purple maybe if you slam a lot fielding gets earlier when you break them in also! It should only take a couple games or a day depending on the thickness of the ring pause
I've said the same thing about outfield urgency lmao, no way they even touched outfield animations. They need to get back in the lab with defense and pitching.
Precision rings are key. I have been using them for years. I use the green ones with a PS5 controller. I really don’t think they are that great on all star or below but when you get to HOF and Legend they are amazing

I used to use purple rings back in '21 and they would start to crumble and tear apart from the friction over time. The small bits would work their way under the joy stick and into the controller and it ruined 2 different controllers over time.

@Shootahfied did the first time it happened and it still had issues. Then just bought my exact controller on Amazon and returned the busted ones lol
Dude I literally just got them and I was skeptical of how well they work, but man. My consistency is so much better; however, reaching/slamming on the corners is extremely hard.
(I use a standard PS5 controller)

It helps with not dropping, but good luck getting to anything high in the corners. And fielding is a giant pain with them. To each their own.
I haven’t had a problem with any of that tbh
Idk if it’s cause I’m on an Xbox elite controller but I struggle to get to the corners too.
@@AdamSamuelsyou mentioned your joystick was elevated so you had 2 of them on. Where did you get that joystick?
It comes with the fusion pro 2. I know a lot of people have trouble with fielding/getting to the corners but it’s perfect once you break it in

This might be stupid but Ive always been pretty traditional when it comes to controllers, and Ive been playing COD and other FPS games for a while. That being said, Ive never wanted to use kontrol freeks or precision rings because I want to be natural with everything, but I feel like most of the top players in MLB must be using kontrol freeks and/or rings too. Cause otherwise it seems really tough being very precise with your PCI in certain spots.
Obviously there are slam spots with the PCI but anything in the middle section is hard to be precise on, maybe thats just because my thumbsticks get worn after like 3 months 🤣
Tbh its all a mindset if youre good at the game then youre good at the game. I didnt find them to help me get better
Unfortunately that’s the state of video gaming now. Unless you’re buying 3rd party devices, you’re at a disadvantage and it sucks. It’s all just a crutch so ppl don’t actually have to try to improve without taking short cuts
I Just use two controllers. One for batting (with ring) one for field
I've been using my daughters thick little hair ties for 2 years now. I went from batting. 250 to over .400 with every player on my team.
Now this is an elite/budget strategy

Nope. I’m not gonna pitch with them
if youre talking about pinpoint dont use them on the right stick, gives zero advantage, only left stick help stop yourself from dropping the pci although it can be bad at first when fielding.
What thumbsticks do you use
Can’t move fast enough in the outfield I took them off because of that

Player rating, 699 and below is on all star, 700-900 is HOF and over 900 is legend. It goes by whichever player has the higher rating.
Third party devices to make you better at gaming is the equivalent of putting up lane bumpers when bowling. So unfortunate that ppl that want to play and improve on the game for real have to deal with ppl taking shortcuts

If you get a Xbox Elite Series controller you can customize the sensitivity in your sticks to minimize drop. Completely broken in my opinion lmao

There's just a screw basically when you pop the analog off you turn a screw on the stick to adjust the tension. There's 3 different ones. Normal, medium and max tension. Basically what the rings are doing but without them. @@markburgess6125
@@markburgess6125 you can change your vertical n horizontal stick sensitivity. Can make it where you barely touch it and it moves a lot or have to forcefully move the stick to even get it uncentered. 2.3 KD Warzone player n 10x flawless in MLB. Like I said it’s a broken customization option
