This video is definitely helpful but I wish it was more clear on the footage and information. I have no choice but to watch this one there's no other videos out there
Nah they're just straight. Straight like a heteros... lmao. Yea they're just straight man. I wish they would bend, that'd make parallel parking easier, since I can't park for shi..... shizzle.
I bought this same backup camera for my Camry 2012 from Amazon. My boyfriend installed it for me and the camera works very well, great image clarity, the only problem was that it doesn't show the parking lines. I was reading the instructions and it states to cut the blue tiny wires near the camera. I didn't see you do it on the video, but yet it shows the parking lines on yours. Did you cut the tiny blue wires or do anything prior to installing so that the parking lines are visible?
I did not cut any blue wires on mine. So I don't know what your particular issue is. Pretty much the one I bought was straight up plug and play and the lines appeared, so I durno. Sorry for taking so long to respond, just got crap too do. Hope you've solved your problem(s).
Look here man. I'm just some other dude on the internet that you're watching a video about how to install a rear backup camera on a Toyota Camry. If you want to take the time to go get a camera, and record yourself install the entire damn rear backup camera the "correct" way. Then go right ahead. Other than that, have a great day. Peace.
Hi Steve. First of all super cool video and extremely helpful tutorial. I'm thinking of purchasing the same backup camera from amazon but I was wondering if yours is still functioning well and is worth the money. Let me know please!
As from the date of the video when I uploaded it it was installed somewhere around that time. Till now 11/4/2018 It is still functioning just fine and I use it everyday for reversing since.
Nah. It's just a touchscreen for the radio. It has no capabilities to play youtube videos and play dvds. The USB only supports playing music off of it. That's about it. Hope this helps.
Yo bro. Uhm I think for the 3 plastic white tab thingys. From the inside of the trunk, I just gripped them on the white tab ends you see with pliers and pushed them outward. And I did that for all three of them. Just probably some moderate pressure so it stops clipping to the trunk, I think if you squeeze it too hard you can break the plastic. Hope this helps.
Steve, can you tell me which one of the backup camera would be get it is more reasonable price? Cause they have so many kind of item showed me on amazon and eBay, thx
Yo. I have a link to amazon with the product that is installed in my car in this video. And hey, what do you know, the cameras still working till today - 04/08/2019. Good luck, just buy something and stick it in there and call it a day. Good luck!
JustSaiyanSteve hey buddy, I think I bought the wrong one, cause I can’t find one of the important part to connect the car, so can you show me the good one to buy in amazon or eBay, thanks

How's the camera working out? I'm debating if I should get a similar system or one with a name brand camera? What's ur impression? I found a system with a sony cam for 180$ on eBay
It's still working. So, I guess that means it's working great! Haha. I guess to me, it depends on how deep your pockets are. I mean, if it's in the range of a few hundred bucks then it's all good. I'm cheap so, that's all I could afford. My impression is that, with a backup camera, now I never have to look at the mirrors to reverse, and I can do really tight reversing and parking with the backup camera, truly a marvel at my crappy driving skills. lol. Anywho, good luck! Don't think you can reallllly go wrong, but your mileage may vary.
Your explanation of the small details were very helpful. Thank you.
