Got my laugh in this morning watching you clean out the exhaust 😂😂
Right!🤣
My favorite thing about this channel is how great this couple works together. They will grow old together. ❤️
Thanks, Mike. So true. The people we meet are fantastic, and many of them are now our friends.
My one tongue tow truck was that way. It disintegrated in the hub so I had to get all new.❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
Under the hood is like my old 69 F100 when I first bought it. I eventually replaced the engine with a rebuilt 360 from O'Reilly. Also redid everything under the hood. Added power steering, power brakes, electronic ignition, electric fan.
Wow, she's got a ton of blowby! Funny to think not that long ago that guy would have had to PAY a scrapper to haul this truck off to a junkyard, now he can probably get 1-2 grand maybe. Good job getting it going again!
You are so right! Oh how things change. Thanks Vince!
Your persistence is unmatched. It looks like the left front is still locked-up. Great video. Can't wait for the Part 2. Be well until then.
Matt we thought the sane thing after watching the clips during editing.
There is something else holding that truck back because it should come right out of there. Great video.
The seat belts make great bottle openers lol
I thought Richard was going to take a swig from his gas bottle at one point 🤣🤣
@@joeskorbinhorbinchuk3286
Lol
So funny! Watch for part 2 because I'm literally going to try and use the seat belt as a bottle opener 😅 Kid you not! Thanks so much 🙏
Love these old Ford trucks !
I’ve owned 2 66 custom cabs and one was fully loaded V8 352 automatic power steering and power brakes and the other was a 240 6 cylinder 3 speed and both of them drove really well.
Love that body style!
HI RICHARD ,, CHRISTINA ,,WOW!!! YOUR GREAT PEOPLE TO GET THIS TRUCK GOING..IN THE DAYS THESE TRUCKS WERE GREAT!!! GREAT TO HEAR IT TRY TO START,, THE OWNER MOVING THE LOGS AND WORKING ON THE WHEELS WAS HELPFUL....OOOHH GLASS PACK NUTS HA!!! I NEVER HEARD A ENGINE SCREAM!!!! WOW GREAT TRY,, PART 2.....THANKS ALL OF YA!!!
Thanks Ronald!
When he tipped the seat forward I was yelling "Watch out for that giant black spider!!"
It looked like a black widow and Richard put his arm so close to it
We didn't see that until editing! Many have commented after you!
@@christinarust6957 glad nobody was bitten! Great video as always!
Amazing job under the circumstances.
Wow that is one dirty truck!!!! but one AWSOME video fromnthe Dynamic Duo !!! Please keep them wrenches flying!! You guys are my most favorite to watch will it run series!
Thank you 😊
another awesome good old rescue from a lichen grown area. "the lichen camper special". i figured that old 352 would kick to life sooner or later. thank marvel and the other awesome lubricants that are still made here. cant wait untill the next save.
Thank you! We have some good ones coming!
The old Ford runs and sounds great!
It has plenty of potential! Worth the save!
I agree!
This is how a real revival goes. I’ve been working on a 71 for a year. Every time you find something new.
So true! This is real life here.
@@christinarust6957 I wish more people realized this is how it really goes, not how you see it on other channels.
What happened to the good luck milk bottle? Did I miss its retirement? Lol
I watched this video to relax after work and I'm completely exhausted just watching you!
What a project.
Another great video Richard and Christina.
We sent the milk bottle to the Smithsonian 🤣 it was in one of the totes. I noticed months back on really tough days his muscles would be so worn out he'd spill more gas then anything. So I got him the squeeze bottle to make it a little easier on him. I see how tired he gets so I do what I can🙂
Wow, this truck a perfect candidate for a long term rebuild/restoration project !!
Yes it is! Good call!
Great video Richard love watching them
I'm amazed that actually runs and runs well built Ford tough
Excellent job, you guys, brought that nice old Ford Truck back to life, sounding good
Thanks Mark!
The twin I-beam front end was used through the end of 96 on F150s, and 97 on F250s.
And the Ranger
@@PapiDoesIt Yep, 1983-1997 👍
We were talking about that during editing. It's hard to remember everything when there and while being filmed. Thanks guys! Appreciate you 🙏
Great vid............... 👍👍
It was a pleasure to watch, thank you all. It did look as if you were trying to pull slightly uphill, you might try pulling from the back. Or a come-a-long might be able to slide you a few feet out of that hole.
Hopefully the 100 degree weather we have all week might dry that area out. But agree. If not muddy that is a good idea to try. Thanks!
Hi guys, Greetings from Scotland.
Well that was certainly a bit of a challenge?. Richard looked knackered when it was all done.
I must say that it doesn’t sound too bad once it’s running, so a part 2 will be very welcome.
It’ll be really interesting to see how it “scrubs up”, and the before and after shots should be interesting.
Good job from both of you, given the conditions underfoot, and the thunderstorm you both did a really good job.
Looking forward to part 2.
All the best,
John
I love the fact that they pick the tough ones…..
Thanks Mike. This one was very tough. I questioned my sanity a couple of times.
That was so satisfying seeing all that junk dumping out that exhaust pipe!
Exactly! I always want to see what comes out of the exhaust.
Good to see you back on
We rescue when we're not at our regular 9-5 jobs, sort of speak. Lately, our regular jobs have been insane! Appreciate you watching!
That was a lot of work but you all are getting there great video as always thanks Richard and Christina
Thanks Dale!
I’ve used a ratchet strap to get the tires back on bead so many times!! It never fails, as long as the tire will hold air for any length of time.
Nice to know! Thanks for watching and the advice 🙏
This would make a helluva first wash video, lol. I would love to see what it looks like cleaned up.
That is coming soon!
Howdy you guys, that is one crazy PAINT job on this old 1966 ford pickup! If you need some lubricant for those hood hinges, I'm fresh out, but as always I'm in your corner rooting for a WIN!
Those hood hindges were rusted beyond anything we'd ever seen!
Richard you definitely have the magic touch! Another fun video!
He does!
Perfect truck for a pressure washing video
That is coming as soon as we can get it out of the mud!
Appreciate your hard work Richard, lot's of dedication!!
You all did a great job in getting the truck running! It was definitely a heroic effort.
Thank you!
Richard and Christina, thank you for such quality videos. You two are classy people, and have such a positive demeanor. 👍
Part 2,3,4 we don't care you aere always fun to watch!
❤ Türkiye den Sevgilerle ❤️
What is it like there
@@Jeremiah344 very good
From Tennessee with love ❤️ thanks for watching!
That was a great film, Christina on the exhaust again and Richards infamous starter woes. Looking forward to part two.
Right! I guess I'm becoming an expert on exhaust. I remember thinking...no way this is the same as the tractor? When we edit it's weeks, months later. So, yes we laughed at his starter comment and the exhaust comment. Both before we knew there'd be an issue. I'm not sure if it's more fun filming or watching later during edits!
Two awesome folks. Nice work you guys! Even if it is a Ford! Lol
Thanks Ken! You rock!
Richard and Christine, You guys are absolutely brilliant. You have such fortitude and patience! (Christine ;) I love watching your adventures. I can't wait to see this old Ford drive, and hopefully see it cleaned up. Thanks again so much for sharing!
Thanks Colin. We will get that truck cleaned up soon!
This one was fairly easy to start.....it's the MOVING that is the most difficult...lol. 😅 Maybe we can change the name to "Will it Move" ....lol. Great work Richard and Christina! Im looking forward to Part 2. And for the record, i don't mind "Part 2s" 😊...or "Part 3s" if the case ever arrises.
You nailed it! Moving it is the hardest part!
Will it move? You are onto something David!
Never would have forseen richard having to tinker with the starter😂😅😂😅story of your life mate, probably got abs of steel😂😂😂😂,thanks for anothercamazing epic episode
Thanks Aaron! I need to find him a tee-shirt with a starter image.
Great to see your videos again!!!!
Thanks for the support! Sometimes we are not able to release each week, but we have lots of good stuff coming.
Great video, Richard and Christina!!😁🤟🛠️🔧

It's moss! Crazy!
@@christinarust6957 Moss & mold are biological organisms which you can kill with bleach ! I know this because you can wash off from roof & home siding also house wash works well ! I have done many old vehicles ! It work well !
Good luck ❤

Stellar job... what a nightmare after a full day of heat, bugs and mud...
Thanks!
Personally I like 2 part videos. Gives us something to look forward too
Right on. Thanks for the feedback.
Old Smokey is very Stubborn 😂 I think you will get him out, Christina I love your Humidity Report Lol 😂😂😂 and good call on the plugged exhaust Till next time my Friends.
It is stubborn! Take care and thanks for your support.
thanks thats a lot of hard work man wow hope she comes out .
Oh, one way or another that trucks coming out!
Love the old F100’s and this one is even better bc it’s a 250! Can’t wait for part ll.
The manual steering is a nightmare in those trucks. I'm an old dude and I use to repair those in the seventy. Its a powerhouse with that engine and 4 speed though
That is one of those trucks that's making you work hard for that first drive. Great job so far!
Thanks! Yes, it is not making things easy.
I just discovered your channel and I love the content and I love the husband and wife team that you all have!
You now have a new follower.
Welcome James! That was a great tip below! Glad you found us!

After 31 years sitting. Just another amazing start Richard. It’s in rough shape. Might be a flip. Christina is a great cheerleader on all these. Besides doing the videos. Great team. Thank you for sharing 💯👍👊

@@christinarust6957 welcome
I loved this story
You can tell by the plugs that this engine was pretty tired when it was parked. She has some miles on her. That was ash buildup on those plugs. She is going to need a rebuild when the new owner starts putting this truck back together.
Mr. B . Here ! The owner would have to paid me too take it ! LOL ! 🤣🤣🤣
This is so awesome. What a great 3/4 Ford. Well done, both of you. Burt Chevy, oh ya.
Thanks guys!
@christinarust6957 our pleasure. You both put a lot of work into this ride. So I am glad it runs as good as it does. And there is still a lot of truck to save.
Epic revival, thanks for sharing great teamwork, looking forward to the next step, thanks for sharing 👍💨💨
Thanks Darren 😊
Finnly I got to watch u guy's video my town is on fire in Crescent city california so we been iut of power and 48,000 Ackers have been burnt so thank u for making me stay postive with ur entertainment

Great job guys loved it see you in part 2 sray safe and see u in ur next video
Definitely a part 2! Thanks Mac!
Love the video however I would love to see continuation on these old rigs. Perhaps clean em up. And continue your amazing work. Looking forward to seeing this truck again.
Hi Daniel! Thanks for the comment! Most don't know because it was only mentioned once (the ending of the 69 Camaro video) but we have full time demanding jobs and do this on our off days. Not to mention most of these cars are 6+ plus from our home. We donate our time, services and about 90% of the parts we use. We do what we can in the time we are there and hope the owners continue our progress or at least find a home with someone that will continue our progress. That said, this truck is 45 minutes away and we are working on a barn find in the same area, so YES! There will definitely be a part 2! Thanks for watching!
Wow, this is a tough one, don't know how you do it. Looking forward to part II. Thanks for the video🙂
Thanks Woody!
Great job.
Thank you!
That was an incredible effort by everyone. Can't wait to see you guys get it out and moving around in part 2 lol...
Thanks very much! Part 2 is coming soon.
The owner is one of those, i'll get around to it, ya when pigs can fly, you did a good job getting it up & running, i can't wait till you clean all the moss off it.
Hi Guys. I don't mind a part 2 or part 10 for that matter. I hope this Truck finds a new home. As always I liked and shared. All my very best.
Thank you!
one hundred and ten percent guys well done
Thanks very much!
Great job you're doing there and another good diagnosis, by Christina, on the exhaust blockage. With the mud there, we would take a long two inch rope and get way out way away from the tractor and leave the truck in neutral and then just jerk it out. We did it with little 8N ford tractors and it worked after a fashion that way you would not burn up the frail clutch on the truck. Sometimes we had to get away over 60 feet away to find a dryer patch of ground to get some purchase with the tractor though. You'll get her out once the rain stops. Good save.
Thanks very much. It has been hot and dry this week, so hopefully the area dries out.
Of course a tractor or truck with a winch and cable would work best.
Excellent content !!! you 2 are a very good team !!
Thank you!
It had a Camper Special emblem on the driver door as well.
Awesome! You got it to run as usual. Love you guys and your videos. Please keep 'em coming.

Great video!
Thanks! This truck was a huge challenge, but it worked out well.
Woohoo, I had faith in y'all, always do!! Besides that old Ford wanted to live, the plugs looked good, points and cap and everything looked good, even the carb looked decent except the stuck butterfly on it. I knew that 352 would scream to life! Somebody had made them a Hotrod out of that truck, I'd say probably sometime in the 80's , maybe late 70's, but I'm betting 80's . And being parked next to that woodpile didn't help, with the mice going in and out of that thing. Hey but that's friggin cool!! 👍👍🤘🤘✌️
Thanks! I agree, this truck was someone's hot rod for a while in the 80s I think.
Part 2 dang!!! Great video
Thanks Willie!
Nice truck!!
Thanks! It isn't dead yet!
That hood emblem also came on trucks with the Y block motor.
I liked those trucks I’ll like to find one someday
Great job guys,❤LoveJim J&R mobile service and God Bless y'all and your critters
Thank you, James.
How about Jackin the truck up high enough so you can fill the holes underneath the tire with some plywood so it's almost even with the ground and then have the tractor try to pull you out from the back bumper. Can't wait to see part 2!you guys are the best!👍
There was wood under the back tires. It was on an incline and so muddy the tires slid off the wood! This truck will not get the best of us! Hopefully those are not famous last words🤣
