    In my town, for under $1million you get a 6k sq ft mansion with 4 acres of land. I just saw the ad on a realtor's website; the house sold last year for $890k. Heck, sell that house in Toronto, move to America, pay cash for a property like the one I just described, and live off the extra $millions in comfortable leisure for the next 50 years.

    Gorgeous classic home! I’m glad the interiors stayed true to the period but a little bit spruced up to suit today’s lifestyle. And that garden is lovely. I love how manicured the landscape is..

    I like the front of the house (doorway), the entry door, mirror in the entry way and the living room w/fireplace.

    Where's the rest of it? $5 million and no pool?

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      And 4000 sq. ft?!

      @seanwebb605 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You pay for the house, the land, the location, the schools., the parks and your neighbours. Pools are relatively inexpensive and have very little utility. If you're willing to pay top dollar for a pool then that's just sad.

    That house would be around 700,000.00 where I live and that's stretching it. Not my taste.

    too expensive. Is it because of location? coz I found nothing special here that worth 5millions dollar

    • @kb-ih7ni
      @kb-ih7ni 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah for this price you’d expect a much bigger house with higher ceilings and with more land area. The price might also be inflated because of the matrials. Good to know Toronto is hella expensive. Those bed and baths are huge though

      Yeah it’s location. this is not far from both the big time rosedale neighborhood and Russell hill neighbour hoods. It’s also near 5 CIS private schools. And a 10 minute drive to downtown core. I agree NOTHING special about this HOUSE. But it’s like the relaxed charms of suburb living while your neighbours in the bachelor apartments down the street from you live in 1/12th of the size of your place for $2200/month. 😹

    Sorry, not worth 5 million lol. I live not far from Ontario, fellow Canadian and where I live this house would be 2 million at most! Toronto is a beautiful city but it’s not that beautiful.

    This is one of the few rich person houses that I like. It`s big, but not grotesquely big. Beautiful for a family of 4-6. But fuck off....5.5 MILLION?!? I was watching TV here in Tokyo last night and they were showcasing a 600 year old Italian mini-castle on a nice swath of land, inside all updated and THAT was only 4.3 million!!!

    Is Toronto handing out free gold bars to it's residents cause these house prices are ridiculous. Who is coming up with these price points? You could have a gorgeous place in the most expensive housing markets in the world at that price point and this ain't that.

    The front yard looks like it hasn't been cared for in ages, no pool, not a lot of space to entertain unless you space them out across multiple rooms and you can reach out the window and hold hands with your neighbors because the houses are way too close
