I just live two streets down from this house whenever I happen to pass by I always look at the tall beautiful glass windows and looks breathtaking from outside but never knew this is so spacious from inside peaceful backyard and with all wood finishes just ecstatic.
Finally an older home where the woodwork hasn't all been painted white. Nice to see something other than white and grey and minimalism. A very beautiful restoration.
Sick of hearing about minimalism too...it was supposed to keep you from collapsing to the pressure of advertisement 'have it all look the way so-and-so says it should',but now I think there's a lot of nonsensical pendulum swing to appear minimalist at all cost even when it's not functional .far too inner city penthouse /condominium urban. Really not knowing or being attuned to the necessity of trees and plants that filter water,clean air ,and provide healthy habitats for birds and children - not so much crowding and clutter of artificial outdoor items/building/forts/paving - sure treehouses and sheds are great but climb trees, garden... not move in ,hack down every but one tree,have 4 walls and a floor might as well have a sky dome in an apartment...call it a yard. I don't mind grey but as a pairing for pink, blue,red, lavender...not so dull . Personally industrial grey and the thing they call greige (l call dirty dishwater/cleaning water ,seems dated 2000's to me not as prominently as earth tones ,but therein. Modern grey,artic/mountain grey is what I'd pair with color. White is appealing but l also like the trend of white oak, white pine and other white tone woods that meld with the look and accent it as well,hints of abalone ,opaque shimmer and mother of Pearl,splash of white- pink/quilt/Afghan ,or pictures of Amish or country flowers.
This house is beautiful,I love that they kept the pale woodworks in the house gives it character.If I had the money I would buy it right now.The backyaerd is zen,so pretty and calming.Someone is going to be lucky to live in this house.Beautiful and charming.

Oh I would live in that house for the rest of my life but I would remodel the kitchen and some of the bathroom and give it some more character I love everything about it just not those things and of course I do not like the way they have it decorated but that's their Style😊

I like the white room next to the kitchen. The living room at the left of entrance I'd split into two parts but full walls and make one an office. A half wall looks like a museum and I'd switch the beam ceilings. Tiny third floor bedrooms, weird skinny shower, instead of having a three story building, make a a spacious two story.
So 7 bedrooms, including the one they made an office on the 2nd floor even though there's one on the first floor, and I counted 2 bathrooms. I would knock out that bedroom that's used as another office and make it into a master bath. Love the walk in closet.
This is such a beautiful dwelling, ideal in almost every way! But any prospective buyer should do well to change the position of the stairs, as its presence right opposite the front door is not favorable for having good luck, according to Feng Shui rules. And another one or two bathrooms or a toilet might add to the attractiveness of this house. Imagine living on the top floor, having an acute intestinal disturbance, needing immediate relief, and finding the bathroom occupied!

Is this really in Toronto? So unlike the standard beige and white boring modernistic homes , this house has the old school character and the unique charm that is almost impossible to find in the newer homes, and the inside is huge space, the front porch and the back yard are just incredible!

Very nice home but Im surprised that between the 2nd and 3rd floors, there's only one bath for 5 bedrooms.
I also found that the bath looked rather high making it difficult to get into.
I thought the same thing... The House is beautiful but it's missing a master bathroom...
And a bloody toilet in the middle of the living room!

Lovely house. Only issue is less bathroom and no balconies on the upper floor. The camera work was exceptional in the video.
Given the enormous size of the rooms downstairs, I was disappointed in the mean-sized bedrooms.
The idea is people goes to bed rooms only for sleeping and passing their time down stairs.
I guess I'm a weirdo then because at 60 years old I still enjoy hanging out in my bedroom. Lol.
