This is gonna sound really weird but let’s throw it out there…I intented to watch this video in order to learn hatha yoga. I am 20 yo and have been doing random yoga poses every morning intuitively since i have never followed a class. I did the same sequence of my own constructed yoa sadhana for 4 years and year video made me want to sharpen my skills. However, I am kinda shocked to see that I have been doing the exact same poses as you demonstrated in this video. I have no explanation for it. I am still grateful for your video, it confirms my goal. Thankyou

I just started back after a 2 year break after hip replacement surgery. this was a perfect intro back. I practiced yoga for 20 yrs before my surgery and i deeply missed it. I've gained a bit of weight and have lost a lot of strength. I still have quite a bit of flexibility so this was challenging but not difficult. I love your soothing, kind, encouraging voice. i will continue to practice you videos and progress to the more challenging ones as I'm able. i feel very calm and relaxed and will continue my day in peace. There’s a Time-and place for rambunctious music that I don’t particularly care for in yoga. so I was very glad to find your channel and subscribed within the first few seconds. I could tell this was the style I love I started my yoga practice when I was eight years old with my father, Richard Hittleman. I believe he also had a TV show. But we started with the book. I fell away from that and got a lot into ballet and jazz and other forms of dance which I still love today but as the body ages I’m now 65 it is very good to have a practice like this that focuses on where you are in that particular day, and to bring peace and calm to the mind. When my father passed away, I found a Guam. Rodney Yee, Patricia Walden, and all the others. There I found the same kind of piece that you were giving beautiful instruction, beautiful, peaceful music, focus on the breath. And most importantly where your body is on that particular moment. Best way to prevent injury. I can’t remember exactly how I found my way back into yoga after my dad passed, but I remember exactly when I went into a child a Runga and I collapsed in tears, and all I could say was grateful, grateful, grateful it was like he led me back to the matt He is my guardian. ❤

Well done Maya for completing it !!! Sometimes slow practices and longer holds of some poses (especially standing poses) require quite some effort. And on some days we have less energy..so every time you will be repeating this practice it will feel different !!
