    Do the different types have different kinds of humour? Well, I'm not sure. But, in this series I give my best guess for which style of humour lines up best with each type(s).

      Glad I never did it as an ENFP. The most extreme thing I ever did is just jumping of from a running bicycle and jumping off from a boat in a river when I didn't know how to swim. Not sure why I did them. No reason probably, just an impulse. Not a pleasurable experience for sure.

      @@Duck-fy6xn Hi. GREAT, thoughtful questions. 1) We've been together since 1987 and fell in love at first sight in college. He's also my best bud and I really LIKE him. I like being around him. He's funny, SMART, caring, strategic (I am not so much), BIG thinker, LOVES great food, music, art etc. My hubby provides me with profoundly differing points of view on subjects even though we are ENXP's. 2) YES on certain subjects we can be too much alike and have the same tendencies so communication is key. I can get mad because "He's so this or that" and then I ask myself...where am I being that and do my best to correct. Doesn't always work and we don't really argue much. Stability is self sourced as much as possible. 3) I absolutely feel understood. That's almost a chicken and the egg kinda answer....since the totality of who we are is made up of personality traits plus a lots of other things then I'd say it's my hubby. And since we "get each other" communication is really easy. Everyday we discuss the little things in life and the BIG existential questions. That's just how we roll. I hope this helps and let me know if you need clarification.

      what is Ne? (throughly explained)

    • @user-fz9dn5bs7e
      @user-fz9dn5bs7e 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Ne (extraverted intuition) - Intuition about possibilities in everything
      Say that a child with Ne function was told by his mother that jumping from a bicycle is dangerous. So, he should never do it. But he never experienced it before. His mind would have thought of a possibility in instant of 'what if'. What if his mom is just stupid? What if his mom is lying? What if sometimes it would hurt and sometimes it wouldn't? What if he has a superpower so it wouldn't hurt for him? What if the amount of pain is determined by the way he would jump from the bicycle? What if, bla bla bla.
      All this thoughts happened in instant in an Ne dominant user's mind (ENTP & ENFP). That's what they're all about every single day. They focus on possibilities on autopilot. In every single thing. Everything that were already decided like laws, languages, rules, job opportunities, are not a decided thing for them. They saw possibilities in changing and improvising them. Nothing is in a black and white form for them. Everything is temporary. Everything is possible. And this is the mode they're in everyday. Their minds are often not present in real life. They live within their thoughts of possibilities. So, they could be clumsy and dense at times when it comes to what's happening in their surroundings.

    Enfp here ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
    Sometimes the jokes I crack, to get the punchline immediately some grasp of intuition is needed to know how I reached that conclusion for the joke to work, so sometimes people dont get my jokes immediately and they’ll either go “oooohh!” _w a y_ later, or ask “how the heck did you get *that* , from _this_ ??”
    I dont mean to make my jokes this way on purpose, but Ne is able to make those leaps in logic I see jokes in places where others might not, other Ne friends I have (fellow Enfp, infp, and entps) pick up on my jokes very quickly
    But my isfj friend for instance, when we were first becoming friends and I’d make a joke he’d do like a half hearted “heh (im confused but alr)” and then I’d have to follow it up with a “ya’know cuz [insert light connecting of the dots to get it]” and _then_ the punch line would hit him in retrospect and I’d get a better chuckle out of him, we’ve been friends for longer now so he understands my kind of innate humor better that he doesn’t need me to do follow ups rlly to get the jokes now XD
    I do still try to cater to each friend’s type of humor most times but my style of quick logic leaps in telling jokes may not always land for everyone

    Are there any other ENFPs here that do not like Will Ferrell’s humor? Every time I tell people I don’t think he’s funny they show me clips and try to convince me he’s funny. I’ve discussed this recently, his humor is yelling. When he’s in a scene he sucks up all the air and the focus is always on him there is no back and forth with other people. I just don’t get why people think he’s funny. Every character is the same. I find enjoyment out of most humor, dry humor, Tom Green humor, The Office, Always Sunny, I like seeing people react; sometimes they don’t even have to say anything, IRL seeing someone exist is funny to me, waiting to donate blood and the girl next to me was nervous and hungover, she cracked me up.
