The night of my hospitalization in January, God screamed at me (an ATHEIST of 10+ years) to open His word to the book of Peter. I was nearly unconscious, but just so happened to split the Bible on the very first page of 1 Peter.
There was no coincidence in His demands - God taught me a lifetime of faith and morality by educating me on the story of Peter during a period of (quite literally) near death.
God saved my life. And He told me that Peter is a biblical character that I need to follow after.
There are many things we can learn from Peter, especially in the current era of arrogance and immorality.
That is an amazing testimony! Thanks for sharing!

Seeing James, John, Peter, and Paul all standing side by side made me tear up. Three of those men were brutally murdered for Jesus' Namesake, and John was the last survivior among them (and all the other Apostles).
I'm crying on the inside.
All the apostles were martyred by 70 AD except John and Simon the Zealot (74AD). John lived another 25 years. It’s interesting that the prophecy of Daniel that Jerusalem and the Temple would be destroyed included that all the apostles would also be martyred by that date. This is why the early fathers say that God’s plan was well watered in the blood of the saints, they shared in his death as Jesus had told them they would. It’s not said, it was a necessary event to prove God’s war against evil is true. If they had tried to escape, the Word would not have been true.

I had to pause it and listen carefully because Bible Project is in ERROR on 2 Peter 3:10. Bible Project believes its mostly Metaphorical...the Earth being DESTROYED. Bible Project asserts that wont happen because God doesnt want to DESTROY people or the earth. Lets read about this: 1 Corinthians 10:8 were practicing idol worship and sexual immorality...Gods judgment came down hard on those of old times...over 20,000 were killed in one day. Don't preach and teach that God doesnt destroy people because of their consistent sinful ways. Bible Project needs to study more than use the METAPHORICAL CARTOON GRAPHICS to twist the message of Gods Word. They purport HALF TRUTHS, which are dangerous...2 Timothy 2:15.

I'm glad you mentioned that Peter was referring to the "grace is a license to sin" movement currently going on in many American churches today when he said some people have misunderstood Paul's letters. It makes me cringe when people say "I'm saved forever, God will forgive me for living in fornication or under pornography, his grace covers all my sins." I hear that alot these days from many friends and even my mom :( , when I try to tell her the truth she says "you are claiming their sins are greater then Jesus blood on the cross and your preaching legalism, they will be in heaven with us trust me" It's very upsetting.

I'm glad you figured it out bro. Grace isn't a license to sin but is supposed to lead us into freedom from sin. Nothing is as strong as Jesus' blood it gives us full pardon from our sins and grants freedom from sin (at least that's my interpretation). I highly reccomend Todd White's youtube videos he does an excellent job addressing grace as a lisence to sin vs grace that leads to purity.
While God is overflowing with grace, it shouldn’t be a license to sin. I agree with you bro, God bless!

It was indeed heavy. Especially the 2nd chapter. But it was a smack on my face, a dagger pearced in my heart, how serious these Words are. And urges Me to come to THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of the LORD, Jesus the God-King - On Earth, as it is in Heaven.

make sure my brethern that you do not replace reading the holy bible with these videos. they are not a substitute for the word. I do understand it is a summary but some people replace the reading the word with these videos. They leave out the meat (substance/weight) of the word more often than not. I love you all with the love of our savior Jesus the Christ.
Have you read any of the comments and how hearing God's word they were changed? "Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God." Romans 10:17.
I use them as like pre and post feeding. Before I read a book, I’ll watch the summary, and after so I can further my understanding. I love that you said this though!

@@DoneDeal_ProphecyI like to do the same thing - sometimes the videos are between two sessions of scripture reading and sometimes the scriptures are between two video sessions. Either way, the videos really enhance my bible study. I have 3 or 4 youtubers I rely on, but this man is #1 INMO.

"There are many iniquities found in My people but the one thing that displeases Me are the fake in heart. They are the ones making empty promises, who are all talk without action, wells without water, clouds carried by tempest, spots in the love feasts and late autumn trees without fruit as Jude puts it. They are those who put on Christian outfits when times are fitting yet act different behind closed doors. These people claim to know Me and My ways but I do not know them for they do not hold fast to My truth. You will know these people by their fruit and you will be able to discern them with the way they conduct themselves. Are they imparting more destruction than they are life? And if they are not imparting destruction, then what fruits of life have they offered My vision? Abstain from fellowship with such people who are energy leaks. If they drain energy rather than impart it, then know that they can offer nothing of spiritual value and it would be just as foolish to dwell with them and have your energy drain than it is to be one of them. I warn you of this less you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away by the error of the wicked.
Vengeance is Mine and the day is coming when judgment will fall upon the fake in heart. In this they will show their true colours and what is in the abundance of their heart will come out. It will be an awakening for many especially when they see those around them change drastically. But as long as you hold fast and continue to grow in the knowledge of My truth then you will be found in peace without spot or blemish. Comfort all those who mourn with these words and attend your energy to where it’s needed."

In 2018, regarding my husband, the Lord gave me the Word of 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance." I was broken-hearted from my husband's betrayal, but God has showered me with powerful grace to be patient like He is. I can trust God to make all things right and obey His call of forgiveness and forbearance by the power of His Spirit. We will persevere to the Day of the Lord, and in the meantime "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," Amen!
I'm applaud by the wickedness and sinfulness that's prevalent among so called godly leaders and others who profess to be Christians. It spreads because of the many poor examples within leadership within the church. I Love how the Scripture helps to keep us in order, that's my guide and my standard which I aim to live by.
The Apostles' devotion to Jesus Christ to the point of death moves me to tears. And it should move the body of Christ today, as it should have back then(and many ways did), even in the confusion and chaos created by false leaders. It is a compelling witness to the Gospel!
