This looks amazing already!!! have two young boys at home (3 and 1 year old) and I just applaud you for making space in your life to do projects and share them with us!! It is so hard to get things done in this phase of my life but I always notice when I do things that are just for me and make me happy, I feel more balance and like a better mom! That dresser is a gorgeous find and so glad you rescued it from likely the landfill. I love the legs on it and it's SO beautiful refinished! I Aldo love the peel and stick breadboard. It turned out beautiful as well. Great job Emily and Stephen! ❤👏👏👏

I love the dresser! Peel and stick was rough for me. My son wanted a peel and stick Tardis from Dr. Who. Trying to get it up straight and without bubbles was not fun! 😂
I legit could not have done it without my husband. I think he makes projects like 10x easier bc he works construction.
That wallpaper is awesome!! Is it 3D or does it just look super realistic?? I honestly cannot figure it out. I love bead board and want it everywhere in my home!

Any tips for removing grandma house smell from a dresser? I got a super cute antique one from fb marketplace but it has a smell to it. 😫
Is the peel & stck wallpaper textured with grooves like beadboard has or is it just printed/flat? Thanks!
its just a flat print, no texture
Can you let us know which grit sandpaper you used for the dresser, and about how much sandpaper you went through to get it all the way down to the natural wood? Thanks so much!
I usually use 80grit and probably went through 5 round papers of it. After I go in with a fine grit hand sanding sponge and go over it again to take away some of the roughness.

Curious what type of sander pads you use? Currently trying to diy a dresser with bright blue and orange paint on it. Lord help me. So I need a good rough texture
I believe they were the 80 or 100 grit mesh sand pads
