Well i mean aren't they all sampled from a real voice? Its just how much synth effects and stuff they decide to add to the voicebank. Or at least that what I thought that was how it worked.
I'm not used to listen to vocaloids and UTAUs sounging so realistic so I'm a bit scared of the synthV teto 😭 but she sounds amazing and I love how well she sings phrases, her voice is just a bit different for some reason
I think since she sounds less robotic you can her more of her voice provider's voice instead of the usual teto voice. It's gonna take a while till I'm used to it tho lol

But what I have found out now, is that Teto's SV samples were also edited to make her sound as close to her UTAU as possible, since even tho her Voice Provider is pretty good at mimicking Teto at the dot, you still need to edit the samples to make Teto sound like well... Teto
my favourites are definitely the cv and vcv voicebanks. the ai voicebank is very beautiful but i feel like it lacks the power and 'teto-ness' of the original UTAU voicebanks. also i am extremely biased towards her UTAU voicebanks cuz i just love her SAKEBI voicebank. her UTAU screams and growls go unmatched!!!
Keep in mind, this video only showcases her standard vocal mode that’s not very powerful, she can actually sound REALLY strong if you use her Power vocal mode and use tone shift. Check out har0I’s Separate cover for example. But I do agree that her UTAU voicebanks still are the best!
VCV teto sounds iconic to me. CV teto sounds like Teto territory. anf SV teto sounds like an actual human.

Depending on how long it took for all the versions to come out,her voice provider might have gotten older.
Teto’s Utau banks were recorded when the vp was in middle/high school!

CV sounds nostalgic and adorable, VCV sounds adorable but slightly more mature, and Synth V sounds like a goddess.
