oh yeah, that weird sound happens to pretty much all voicebanks depending on the phoneme you use. with flower it happens if you use the [h] phoneme at the end of a vowel lol
That's most likely exactly what happened. If the program doesn't know exactly what to do with "Yeah" (or more likely some alternative spelling like "yeeah" or "yaeh" or "yeahh"), it might not realize the H is supposed to be silent, so it tries to transition from the vowel to the H, carrying over the voice waveform, and that makes this unnatural sound, because...words don't end with H. I mean, there are words that end with H, but if it's not silent, it's in some way affected by the letter that comes before it.
That makes sense and has happened to me with other phonemes like the ones u mentioned. Thing is in this case is that i wasnt ending the yeah on a weird phoneme, it was just [V] doing that for some reason lol.
@@Electronmiku It actually happends when a consonant phoneme its longer than it would normally be and vocaloid dosen't know how to process it. You can create this sound with almost any consonant just letting it alone in one large note. Shortening the note with the [V] phoneme should make the sound go away

Jokes aside, if anyone of y’all want some end whisper-like sound, try the [*_0] phoneme - with the * being a vowel.
Thats for whispering and it works with some consonants too. if you actually want to make this sound just put a consonant like [h] in a large note

This actually OFTEN happens in V5. It probably wouldn't do this in V4 or Piapro. It's something to do with how V5 handles extended notes or repeated vowel phonetics... I've had similar metallic noise on all the Cryptons and other VBs.
Oh man, that's unfortunate.
Piapro occasionally throws off timing for no reason causing you to have to edit the phonemes/tuning to fix it, but at least it doesn't make that noise!

hi im a vocal synth developer this essentially happens because each vocaloid note can consist of two parts, an articulation and a stationary. when you are stretching the phoneme /v/ it will try to stretch a stationary (stationaries are basically a long consistent recording of that phoneme), but most vocaloid databases do not have this data so instead it will stretch the small articulation sections instead (sil -> v) and (v ->sil). most vocaloid libraries do this with consonants they do not have stationary data for (because, well, who would try to stretch a consonant? thats completely preposterous)
but there was no [v] phoneme in there, i was only using vowels, so [V].
@@Electronmikui must’ve misread! when you pulled up the emotion tool it looked like it was stretching lowercase v. either way it’s stretching some periodic phoneme with no stationary data.
my guess here is that it's stretching her [e V] without pulling a [V] sustain -- this happens when Vocaloid tries to loop a portion of a vowel that's so small it doesn't cover a whole period. her [e V] likely is very tiny and, for some reason, that note didn't trigger a sustain call so the articulation is being forced to cover the whole length
