Can I just point out how polished this performance was! It’s been incredible following Kaarija journey from his first winning performance last year, to the pre shows, hundreds of gigs and the Eurovision final. The staging, artistry and atmosphere gets bigger every time. This performance felt like the perfect end chapter to an incredible year. You can see how much he’s learnt as he hits every move and camera angle with ease. That stage is totally his and he has the crowd in the palm of his hands. Excited to see the next chapter from this artist.

The juries consist of 200 unprofessionals who desperately wanted another winner. Had they been only a part of the televoters he would have won. But the rules say those few people have the same power as millions of viewers. So the system failed us.
