Europe let’s come together!
(Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa)
It’s now or never!
I love you all!
(Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa)
Welkom in Europa
Blijf hier tot ik doodga
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Welkom in Europa
Blijf hier tot ik doodga
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Bezoek m’n friends in France
Of neem de benen naar Wenen
Ik wil weg uit Netherlands
maar m’n paspoort is verdwenen
Heb gelukkig geen visum nodig
Om bij je te zijn
Dus neem de bus naar Polen
Of de trein naar Berlijn
Ik heb geen geld voor Paris
Dus gebruik m’n fantasie
Heb je een eurootje please
Zeg “merci” en “alsjeblieft”
Ik ben echt alles kwijt
Behalve de tijd
Dus ben elke dag op reis
Want de wereld is van mij
Welkom in Europa
Blijf hier tot ik doodga
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Welkom in Europa
Blijf hier tot ik doodga
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa
(Hey)
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Eu-ro-pa!
(Hey)
Ich bin in Deutschland
Aber Ich bin so allein
Io sono in Italia
Maar toch doet het pijn
Ben aan het vluchten van mezelf
Roep de hele dag om “help!”
Ja ik geef zelfs mensen geld
Maar d’r is niemand die me helpt
Ik hoef geen es-car-gots
Hoef geen fish ‘n chips
Hoef geen paella, no
Ik weet niet eens echt wat dat is
Zet de radio aan
Ik hoor Stromae met “Papaoutai”
Zal niet stoppen tot ze zeggen
“Ja, ja, dat doet-ie goed ey!”
Welkom in Europa
Blijf hier tot ik doodga
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Welkom in Europa
Blijf hier tot ik doodga
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa
(Hey)
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Eu-ro-pa!
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa….
Welkom in Europa jongen!
(Hey)
Eu-ro-pa
Aan het einde van de dag
Zijn we allemaal mensen
Mijn vader zei me ooit
Het is een wereld zonder grenzen
Ik mis je elke dag
Is wat ik stiekempjes fluister
Zie je nou wel pa
Ik heb naar je geluisterd
~~~ Lyrics in English ~~~
Europe let’s come together!
It’s now or never!
I love you all!
Welcome to Europe
Stay here until I die
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Welcome to Europe
Stay here until I die
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Visit my friends in France
Or take a long walk to Vienna
I want to leave the Netherlands
But my passport is gone
Fortunately don't need a visa
To be with you
So take the bus to Poland
Or the train to Berlin
I have no money for Paris
So use my imagination
Do you have a euro please
Say "merci" and "please"
I lost everything
Except time
So am travelling every day
For the world is mine
Welcome to Europe
Stay here until I die
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Welcome to Europe
Stay here until I die
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Eu-ro-pa!
Ich bin in Deutschland
Aber Ich bin so allein
Io sono in Italia
but still I feel pain
Am running from myself
Calling for "help!" all day long
Yes I even give people money
But there is no one to help me
I don't need es-car-gots
Don't need fish 'n chips
Don't need paella, no
I don't even really know what that is
Turn on the radio
I hear Stromae with "Papaoutai"
Won't stop until they say
"Yes, yes, he does that very well ey!"
Welcome to Europe
Stay here until I die
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Welcome to Europe
Stay here until I die
Euro-pa-pa, Euro-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa
Eu-ro-pa!
Euro-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa….
Welcome in Europe boy!
At the end of the day
we are all human beings.
My father told me once that
the world has no borders.
I miss you every day
is what I whisper to myself.
You see, dad,
I did listen to you.
I think Europe is quite united on this issue
The song unites conservative viewers like me, with the mostly liberal audience of ESC. It's a powerful thing to transfer the love of a nation to an entire continent, but it's progress to achieve it and that's the message we all agree on and why it's so powerful as a symbol of healing a divide that's become a untraversable gorge in EU societies.
Funny that Europe kicks out an antisemite not because he is an antisemite but because he was disrespectful to a stagehand. )))
This is not a song... this is a whole feeling and this is history.
frr
How its history? Seemed like a childrens song for me repeating Europa all the time, having childrens figures next to him to help on it and walking around earth to show its some kind of happy childrens song and then in the end say we are all human beings to send positive message to children, so this song seemed like childrens song overall for me, instead of actual good eurovision song with good background music, that gives a great experience, like Croatia and Switzerland was.
Disqualification of the Netherlands is the biggest crime in the history of Eurovision 😔
I agree that is a crime
And there’s nothing you can do abt it
Yes it is... but in our favor.... now we see what a travesty it was... and is... and always was....
It would be so so cool if he could compete next year. Im not sure if it was fair to disqualify him or not but if not he should definitly get the chance to compete next year! His song is amazing and he deserves it if it wasnt fair to exclude him
that was a crime but not biggest biggest is in 2010
No matter what you say, this guy was the real winner of this ESC.
So this is the 'best' Europe could come up with? It's rather pedestrian and outright idiotic.
@@StevenhufnagelHe dedicated this song to his parents who died when he was 12. It's a party song portraying Dutch culture and a sub branch of Dutch music. Yes.
Apparently, as per statement by Dutch broadcasting, it was about a hand gesture Joost Klein made towards the camerawoman backstage after Thursday's performance. There were agreements made that he was not to be filmed as he moved off the stage, but despite agreements he found the camerawomen there backstage. He made a threatening hand gesture towards the camera out of frustration but didn't touch the woman nor the camera. If this is it, then let Joost Klein apologize to the camerawomen and let EBU apologize too for not following agreements, shake hands, and let's get on with the show. I mean, really, does everything in this world have to have an over the top reaction and outcome?
EBU is crazy!!!!
Indeed! This is how we solve this in Europe.
No, the camerawoman should apologize to him. He didn’t wanted to be filmed and she should’ve respected that.
Are you serious? Shame on Eurovision
@@LaraCookie5 She was probably just following instructions. EBU management is to blame. So EBU should apologize to Joost and Joost to the camera woman. Everybody shake hands and it's done. But nooo, in this world we have to be overly dramatic and have to have over the top reactions to everything.
watching this after the disqualification has me in tears. He was there for one thing and one thing only and that was to make his late parents proud. this was his biggest ode to them. He should have gotten the chance to perform. He should have been there. it’s simply unfair.
Even worse, the Dutch delegation offered solutions. They offered to speak privately about the affair. They offered a public apology. But the camerawoman in question did not agree to any of the offered olive branches but choose to remain inh er anger, for a lack of a better term. While Joost's transgression was a mere swipe at the camera after clearly expressing his boundaries.
@@CityBeetroot Got Proof? Otherwise it's he says , she says. Lucky there should be recordings if that dissapears they have no evidence. If it exists we will find out what actually happened... He better be guilty then otherwise i forsee a shitstorm and the end of eurovision perhaps even.
