You only talked about the relationship between Menma and the yin half of kurama (who's the good side of Kurama) and not about Naruto and the yang half (who's hatred) and we never seen them interact with each other 2. I don't think menma could've been that easily defeated by Naruto who was in a coma for 2 years , Sakura, kakashi, and Hinata
