    I just priced this unit in May 2024. £250 now. Thats doubled in two years. A real Brexit benefit!

    I've a similar drive unit on my mill, no problems yet but it's good to see how they work for future reference, so thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the Tom Senior review,all the best.👍

    All the grease I've ever seen used in the OEM off shore equipment is absolute garbage. And I'm saying that after using thousands of cases of name brand industrial grease in my working career. If it were me? I'd replace all the grease in that with a very good synthetic grease. It will work much better and over a wider range of temperatures. Grease is obviously being used instead of oil just to keep it out of the electrical components. There's also such a thing as Arctic or cold weather grease specially formulated to work in very cold conditions. But your coldest shop temperatures aren't even close to where it might be required. A standard grade of synthetic grease should do anything you want.
