They've always handled "weird" ideas. Seriously, watch from season 1, it's all there, and you get to watch everyone really grow into their characters and make them their own. Good stuff
American dad is easily the best "simpsons knockoff"/animated show about a family that never ages but time moves on on tv. IMO the best part of the show is the constant call backs and inventive episodes and how they always use the full family, unlike family guy which is just the peter, stewie, and brian show anymore chris and lois get like 2 scenes and meg gets 1 line an episode if that.

In this case, with American Dad, these two bubbles are of an indistinguishable shade so they're similar but the laws of reality were so slightly different that the outcome of Steve's spin was different. Better or still just between nonsensical and understandable?
By far this is one of the darkest American Dad episodes. Probably also one of the most graphic episodes. Luckily that was not the end of the cast and that the whole episode took place on an alternate earth.
I believe that was the entire point they were going for, especially when you consider the previous supposed series finale episode had the entire family killed off by a hot-tub that gained life and sentience. Though that episode was remarkably different considering it was being narrated.

I saw a couple episodes on the American Dad episode guide about to future episodes involving the multiverse. One was titled into the jingle verse, the other was titled Multiverse of American Dadness

I'd hate for American Dad to end like this. I'd destroy Zaslav for this. It would be a disappointing end and cliffhanger to a show. Every show deserves to end nicely. No matter what. Even if this show is from and owned by Disney. It's one of the last few decent adult animated shows out there. And one of the last best adult animated show from Disney.
