Y’know…call me crazy, but I think this is exactly what Dr Seuss would have wanted.
Oddly enough the Cat in the Hat the live action had massive innuendos because there was a lot of jokes for the older audience. And after that movie the daughter of Seuss said no more live action of dr Seuss based stories
I'm sure he would have had a laugh and been happy to see his creation continue to bring joy to his readers even in adulthood 😃

@@succubushunter6093 my mistake on my part. It was actually his wife that said no more live action adaptations. My bad on my part. But yeah she stopped any more after she was critical of the movie. Overall I liked it because I liked it because I was kid and innocent. Now I still laugh because I get the jokes hidden

I believe all end of the world episodes are alt time lines
the Cthulhu ended with steve's choice being reverted and going to the other job. as for when the show ended, it is commonly held that it ended with rapture, and all episodes after it are Stan's heaven room.
Yeah the last episode was made because the team behind American dad thought their show was over because of David zaslav and his cost cutting decision, but apparently he couldn’t remove the contract, so American dad lives for another year
