I miss having these folks as my musical heroes
Faron Young was a legend. He lived some crazy stories.

He could always tell great stories.......
LOL True stories are the best stories
Funny as anything, what a great story teller.
Faron Young was awesome.
funny guy! great storyteller
I have listened to this tale two hundred times or more and I laugh even harder every time, a dog named fluffo, that is when I just can't hold back any longer, this guy could be a stand up comedian, except country music would have missed him way to much, right sherriff. and can anyone tell me what the devil is a crowder pea, anybody?
Crowder peas looked like they were crammed, or crowded, into the shell. They typically have blunt ends rather than rounded ones.
he is my step grandfather I'm not kidding I swear people!!!
Izzy Mangrum he’s my step great grandfather no lie his son dwane
a classic....
I miss Faron (& Merle) but esp The Young Sheriff
What Merle meant to country music and most of all to me. What he meant to Bocephus? There is not a word in the english language to describe it. He was the best. And missed very much. God Bless. R.I.P Hoss
Byron Bickley's dog Fluffo, this has to be a true story cause nobody but no Buddy could make this stuff up, oh my I love Merle Kilgore, his singing his heart felt love for other human beings everything about him
@riv4life618 I miss Billy Walker also.
I would have eating that, It sounded yummy
Who the hell was Byron Binkley ?
John, don't hold me to this, but I THINK he used to help produce some of the syndicated country music TV shows back in the day. I know I've seen that name on some television credits somewhere.
