Dr V, thank u so much for tons of information. I am literally binge watching your shows ever since I stumbled upon your channel. Love it. I was looking to start with a body retinol first before I start a face retinol regimen as I have extremely sensitive skin. I see that you have recommended Olay for skin of color but I dont see OLAY mention their percentage of Retinol anywhere on their website. Do you think its 0.5% or less, like you suggested we should stick to???
I am also considering Advanced clinicals Retinol as its a 16oz tub but they dont mention the percentage either. How do we get the 'Actives percentages' and why dont manufacturers put this on their label as a full disclosure???

I am 59 years old and have just gotten my first ever prescription for vitamin a, Arazlo 0.045%. I am starting low and slow. I have added glycerin to my routine to keepg my skin extra hydrated. Is that % ok? I haven't had any irritation yet.
Thanks to you my skin has improved so much since following you. I am using less make-up and my make-up looks smoother and I am getting even more compliments than before. Luv your work. Know that you are so appreciated 💛

Hey Dr V, many thanks for educating us on the science of SoC and the products we use daily for skincare in a very simple manner. The way you explain it’s easily understood.
I request you to please analyze a new brand in India called “detoxie”
And there are many scientific names of chemicals and ingredients which we still do not understand, even if I google these names I don't find any data specifically for SoC and their side effects for SoC
And also, please recommend some good nafe safe and effective products for dark circle available in India
Lots of love ❤️respect and best wishes from India and your SoC family
Keep up your great work 👍
    Thanks again 🙏

Please do a review on Gernetic’s products. And also, I started using retinol ( my esthetician and my dermatologist say I shouldn’t use it) but I feel the only why to avoid ingrown facial hair is by using retinol. I live in Israel so the sun is very strong. I use all day all year by Sisley that should have low but long lasting (8 heures) sun and blue ray protection and on it I put 50spf board spectrum. The thing is I’m not always taking a spf with me so I might stay all day with the protection I put in the morning after my shower and before going outdoors

Hi @DRV - I love your content. It has made a huge difference in my life. I’m just wondering, does skin ever stop reacting to actives over time? I’ve been using Paula’s Choice 1% retinol for a little over 6 months. At first, my skin responded amazing. However, not so much now… could you respond or post a video about efficacy of products over time?!?

Over the counter products have low %sm higher percentages often need prescription if you aren't seeing any further results

@@msf8297 - I appreciate the feedback. I totally can see what you mean, OTCs won’t be as effective than higher valued products. Paula’s choice is not over the counter. I guess to clarify my question is how long can I use a product before it loses its efficacy...

For Retinol products from the Ordinary you can buy a separate pump from Niod to solve the problem of oxidation

Hi Dr V love your range. The cerp is lovely but l find l am using a lot to get my skin feeling moisturised. Will you formulate a more moisturising moisturiser for our 50 plus menopausal women skin which tends to be drier?
