Welcome to the club. I purchased my first pin 6 years ago after making 1 year cancer free. It was more of a why wait when you never know what your future holds. I got an old, broken Gottlieb Monte Carlo. When I say broken, you couldn't even play it. But I knew that as I wanted to know how to work on it and fix it. I got it working 100% and sold it. Now 6 years later I have 7 pins, 1 Vpin and next year going to most likely buy my first brand new pin. It's a great hobby!

I was so scared when I got my first pin in January that it would just sit there after a few weeks. What I have found out is these new pinball machines have so much replay ability than even a multi- Cade. It’s a perfect combination of arcade nostalgia combined with new playing experience.
@@KING_KONK I’m not sure man. I think next week I’m going to do a Arcade Room Tour thing and maybe people will have some advice for where to place things. It’s pretty roomy right now but it’s filling up fast.

@@RetroRalph Lets see my wife got me my second A1UP Partycade Defender three weeks ago then I picked up a San Fran Rush 2049 Special Edition two weeks ago just in time for the family to come to Houston for Thanksgiving so my kids and grandkids had a blast. Im up to 15 machines mostly full size with 3 bartops and looking at two other full size for purchase and going to build six full size machines in December. Im blowing and Going!
Always liked me some pinball! I worked nights at a laundromat and they had the original Star Wars by Stern and Kiss pinball. I played both of them quite a bit and rediscovered that pinball was always fun, and will always be fun lol. I wanted to get one but then i noticed how much the maintenance dude was in to fix the tables... just about every week lol.
I too bought my first pinball machine this past year, GNR LE. It is awesome! Since then I've bought another, a Williams Fire from 1982. Both are a blast!
Excellent choice my friends- it will not disappoint… and more importantly it never really gets old.. I actually- shockingly- play mine more than any other game I own. I own a 1993 Jurassic Park data East pinball and I have it on my channel if you wanted to check it out!? Congratulations Ralph, enjoy it!!
I bought my first pin (Heavy Metal) in March 2021. I now have 20 of them. They are crazy amazing. The first thing you MUST do is add a subwoofer. (Polk Audio PSW10's are perfect and affordable).
@@RetroRalph Absolutely. The stock one inside the cabinet is lame. Pick up the sub I mention above and it will improve the experience 100%. The difference will blow you away. (I have 25 of those subs. One for every pin and 1 for every vpin) :)
Great choice on Jurassic Park, from their current line-up I also think the TMNT one is awesome. From pinball machines from the 90s, the Adams Family is one of my personal favourites.

I have the star wars arcade 1up pinball, love it, but it obviously doesn't compare to a real mechanical pinball machine! Maybe one day! I play real ones at our local arcade! Lots of fun!! We'll see you oooonnn the next one!
Great advice, dont flip every time your ball is headed toward your flipper, that left ramp shot is easiest from your right flipper and letting the ball dead bounce from the left to right flipper will help your accuracy when shooting for a specific shot such as that easy left ramp shot... this is an awesome machine... All Keith elwin designs are incredible and the only machines I buy nib. I own the prem of each his designs you'll be hooked soon if not already haha!

i have one pinball right now it’s a 40 year old pinball payed 150 it’s a Chicago coin Olympics pinball i’m ordering parts for it so i can get it up and running again i hope to get loads of pinballs soon looking to find all the cheap pinballs people sell under price

Lord of the Rings, Addams Family and Monster Bash are my three holy Grails. Twilight Zone and Family Guy with Stewie pinball are also Epic
