    Oh no!! Italian sausage with fennel seed .... real taste. Add fresh basil closer to end. Chopped parsley I like greens for that fresh flavor.

    The million dollar spaghetti I've made uses layers of fettuccine sauce, mozzarella cheese (with cottage cheese, and parmesan cheese), regular (homemade) sauce, broken spaghetti noodles (cooked or not), in a long baking dish and then baked till thick and cheese melted. So he's right it's like lasagna in a way. And really really good. Especially with garlic, butter and cheese kings Hawaiian rolls instead of cheesy garlic bread. Eat it with alot of family/friends so the calories get cancelled out by sharing the food and laughter. JS.

    I can't stand ricotta-- too dry and no flavor. I found a recipe (Company Beef Casserole/6 Ingredients or Less Cookbook) that uses a substitute. I will never use anything else again in any recipe that calls for ricotta. The book says: 3oz cream cheese softened, combined with 1 cup sour cream (I always use Philly and Daisy-- some things should never be substituted!🙃). I found it wasn't quite enough for the recipe; didn't cover all the noodles, so I doubled it. Well, 6oz of cream cheese... there was such a small amount left of the cream cheese... It's now just 16 oz Daisy and an 8 oz brick of Philly. It was perfect-- not dry and definitely has flavor!
    Ok, riddle was too easy, if I figured it out...🙃
    Teapot, of course! Thanx again and take good care! P.S. You have a new subscriber!😊

    I've done this in a crock pot I just throw everything in without cooking it when it's sitting a crock pot for a couple of hours and it cooks the spaghetti and the in the sauce I put Italian meatballs in and sweet Italian sausage cooking for about 2 to 3 hours and it's ready... I break up the spaghetti into like thirds right out of the box put it in the crock pot and the spaghetti and everything cooks in the tomato sauce

    I take a large sauce pan( 4 quart) . Brown my meat then put in my homemade spaghetti sauce. Which a faster sauce l make is l take 2 cups of salsa, 2 cans of tomato sauce, frozen onions & peppers. Italian seasoning, garlic and Oregano. Bring that to a boil turn it of and put the spaghetti pasta in( l use a spinach pasta. I break mine smaller, because l do not like the mess long spaghetti can get .) Then l put the lid on , check and stir it after 15 minutes . If the spaghetti isn't donel put the lid back on l wait for 10 more minutes. The spaghetti taste better cooked in the sauce.😊 This a faster recipe.

    It's always wonderful if you can do a one-pot meal like that, but I've learned that you really run the risk of musshy noodles, if you parboil it most of the way first, and then add it for that length of time. It Cooks a lot more when it's married with the sauce. If yours came out fine tho... then that's great. 😊

    1:29 prego . 5:44 so that's why teapot pops up so much! That is a rather old riddle! 😊

  • @Oudeis000
    @Oudeis000 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The riddle works better spoken than written because of the ambiguity between the letter “T” and the beverage “tea”, which sound the same but are spelt differently. If spoken, the riddle can be answered with “teapot”; but if written, the question is less of a riddle and becomes more a word game that will produce countless answers like testament, treatment, tastiest, toastiest, etc.
    Great recipe - I’m going to try it with uncooked spaghetti and see how long it takes to become al dente. That will reduce the amount of equipment used and will greater justify the use of the crock pot. I’ve seen a version of this recipe with uncooked corkscrew pasta (cellentani/cavatappi), so I’m hopeful it will work.

    Himalayan Salt has just as much sodium in it as table salt. The mineral impurities that give it a pink color, often promoted as healthful, are far too low in concentration to help with your nutrition. You would have to eat a lethal amount of sodium to achieve helpful quantities of the other minerals. The "beneficial" mineral traces are usually:
    Calcium
    Potassium
    Magnesium
    Again though, not enough to make any difference. The biggest difference is this, like sea salt, will not have any sugar mixed in as a storing agent like in table salt.

    A long time ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I lived in Italy for 2 years. I asked my Italian friend if she would teach me the proper way to eat spaghetti. We were at an office luncheon. My friend and I were the only 2 with pasta sauce on our clothes! I told her mother about it thinking she would just laugh, but she actually slapped my friend. Oops, didn't mean to get her in trouble. We were about 21 or 22 at the time.
    I like buying different pasta shapes since I don't enjoy twirling the fork. By the time I get through twirling, most of the meat is back on the plate.
