Can't believe this damn show is 10 YEARS OLD I feel like a fucking dinosaur rn. Anyways Gravity Falls is fantastic and y'all should watch it if you haven't already.
Oh, i have, dude. Ever since it came out 10 years, i've watched both seasons. Probably one of the best shows in the Disney Company. Happy 10th Anniversary to Gravity Falls.
Sam Manson would be proud. Reminds me of her quote in response for Paulina (popular, rich chick) asking if Sam thought she was shallow “If you mean do I think I could stand in a puddle of you and not get my feet wet, than yeah”
I loved the quote, Dipper says he can tell what she ate, takes a whiff and says, “A whole tube of toothpaste?”, and she says, “But it was so sparkly!”. So 12 years old!
There's not a lot of animation going on, though the outlines seem to be a bit thicker and the storyboards seems to have made these panels a bit more expressive than usual
It's the shading,thicker lines,and good posing. Something alot of cartoons can use...this is why I like anime more,they don't have to have good animation but atleast make the characters and backgrounds look good to look at other than their character designs.

It always feels like a journey watching through the whole series and while I started watching it after it ended, I'm still happy for all the memories I enjoyed with it and I still appreciate all its perfections and imperfections. After Dipper responds with his line, theres a music cue as if you just got a clue revealed in a game or learned important general information. *How did I only just notice that this happens basically every single time a piece of useful information is learned or someone has a revelation in this show, theres so much attention to detail.*
And he's completely right: Mabel earned her skills on her own through trial and error, while Pacifica got hers from her parents hiring the best trainer on the planet.

The only time people tend to talk about things being fair/unfair is when they perceive someone else having an advantage over them. idk if it’s just me but this episode always felt like it was made by different animators… just the way the charcaters look/move and the camera angles makes it feel different from the rest of the show, but the episodes after this go back to normal

A character owned by one of the richest companies in the world calling out rich people for cheating at life is a level of irony that has gone unappreciated for far too long
What I find even more hilarious about this video is that it features two things which were once intertwined in real life, those being: Golf-people ( well the Dutch faction of them), and the phrase '' Eat the rich''. I once heard that there was a rich Dutch prime minister was literally eaten alive by his people for corruption charges.
He was already lynched, the only thing that was probably actually eaten was part of his liver, and it was more a rivalry between monarchists and statists (and some other stuff). But otherwise.... yeah

Wow…all of our favorite 2010 shows are all almost a decade (10) old. Geez, dude…where does time go? It’s just like “Wow! A brand new series! I hope it’s good!” And the next second 10 YEARS FLY BY!!!! And that “BRAND NEW” series is gone after all the memories you have of it, the best moments that you will always remember, the times where they truly hit your heart & made you cry, doing their job to make you laugh and entertain you, but most importantly, learning to grow as people & be better in our lives & learn what our consequences can do to people and everything around you before making the mistake yourself & learn how to not screw up like they did & from some characters being just plain selfish (Rigby from Regular Show, for example) and then to finally redeeming theirselves and become less selfish and more of a better person because of what they learned from their friend, family, mentor or their own consequences and being better just not for their loved one, but for themselves. THANK YOU 2010 shows for being our childhoods & being a great inspiration in our lives. We couldn’t have ask anymore of you. Plus there were a LOT OF GREAT series that came out in 2010 that some are still running now! Man, the decade of 2010 was a great decade for television!
As i said: A decade ago, this show premiered on Disney Channel US, and by its humor and mysteries(idk what else to say), it got a huge amount of people watching it(I think They still watch it on Disney XD) It even preceeded Amphibia and The Owl House, the current 2 successful Disney Channel cartoons. The fact that this is considered by many to be the greatest line, well I hope they understand that it's comedy. If the rich really were cheating at life, so many of them wouldn't end up in such horrible outcomes.
I honestly don't think that Dipper's line about Pacifica cheating at life because she's rich is that great of a line. It's actually quite petty. Not to mention that Dipper's feelings toward Pacifica changed since that episode. Dipper may actually have feelings for Pacifica by the end of the series, and Mabel supports this.

As i said: A decade ago, this show premiered on Disney Channel US, and by its humor and mysteries(idk what else to say), it got a huge amount of people watching it(I think They still watch it on Disney XD) It even preceeded Amphibia and The Owl House, the current 2 successful Disney Channel cartoons.

I always loved how even though Pacifica originally started out as Mabel’s rival, Dipper was the one that always had more animosity for her.

Dipper has a point tho…Pacifica is cheating at life
The fact that this is considered by many to be the greatest line, well I hope they understand that it's comedy. If the rich really were cheating at life, so many of them wouldn't end up in such horrible outcomes.
I honestly don't think that Dipper's line about Pacifica cheating at life because she's rich is that great of a line. It's actually quite petty. Not to mention that Dipper's feelings toward Pacifica changed since that episode. Dipper may actually have feelings for Pacifica by the end of the series, and Mabel supports this.
