I sail a topper and found that if you sit as close as possible to the daggerboard the topper will go quicker because if u sit at the back your pushing the rear of the boat into the water acting like a brake. Bro keep up with sailing
+Jovanthegreat !!! You might not realise but at hayling island there are waves if it is windy enough you have to sit further back you won't nose dive going upwind but as you say at an inland event your trim of getting your body further up the boat will make you go quicker as your stern isn't in the water
STUNNING VID!!!
+Greg Cornes Thanks
Going so fast in that, I’ve never gone that fast in a topper
cool vid i want to get a topper now

Unless you're sailing in waves, where you will almost instantly nosedive. Also when reaching, it promotes a good planing angle. HA NERD 🤓😂

Yeah, it's called five eventual, using trim
Upwind, this works, even in waves.
However on reaches and downwind you sit slightly further back to keep it out the waves and avoid pitch poling
I ❤ Toppers!
what's the maximum sensible wind speed & gust would you take the topper out on?
nice
+Tim H thanks
