Pigsaw is a bloody fever dream of first person shooter, stealth, survival horror, and immersive sim light. You are trapped in a nightmarish human abattoir, use whatever is at your disposal and do whatever is neccassary to stay alive and escape. The Butchers are relentless, expect no mercy and give none in return.

This game world need more lore, like why did the humans end up in the food chain a la Planet of the Apes? And also what was the floppy disk used for? Maybe see another sequel set in the same universe, this time where humans being used as fuels by mechanical creatures that looks like cars?
The floppy disk was a security card that allowed you access to the backrooms via that elevator.
The world is actually a lot bigger in my rough draft but I had to cut so much to make the 6 week jam deadline. I may revisit and expand in the future!
@@ChristopherYabsley if you do explore more of the world and you have more time. I think FPS would be too short to explore. Unless you go for "Less is much" philosophy where the player make up their assumption how the world look like

That gameplay is slick! A shit your pants horror game where you can move fast, has a no-nonsense stealth mechanic, and lets you fight back? Like a blood covered unicorn!
I tried to leave it up to the player how they approach the game. Stealth or kill everything, up to you!
This game has so much potential. I fully believe you could make a full-length game out of this, with enough creativity and polish. The sound design alone is already very good, if a little loud. The textures are a bit too simple for retro graphics, and the setting could be fleshed out more, but holy cow, there's so much you could do with what you already have. I really hope you revisit this game.

You may escaped the small cages where you are unable to move properly then the death factory/ slaughter house and you are on meadow but does it mean you are free?

What was your inspiration of or intention for the game?
It has a nice atmospheric game I also love this underground structures which looks old in some points rusty. It is maybe lower graphic design but I enjoyed because the concept is so perfect.

I really liked the game, the ending was perfect, but it could have more lore, like who are the owners of the slaughterhouse, and it could have posters saying things like BUY! BUY! BUY! the newest snack on the market THE HUMAN SPAM !!!, I thought the game was amazing, and I wanted to know what the right lever is near the end, I killed innocent people by pulling the wrong lever :(

what if when you where at the pipe level where all the humans where surrounding the
giant green light beam, what if for say you attracted the attention of the pigs to that location
and you allowed them to follow you there, helping them discover the other human escapees
and they unleash flying droids which could look a bit like the sentinels from the matrix and they try to capture
the humans and carry them away and you have to fight off waves of them before continuing to the
next level.
