I’m on my second Polestar 2 and really do like the car (especially in the 2024 fully loaded performance I just leased) but I wish Polestar would listen to its customers regarding a couple of details.
    1. The color of the car in the infotainment system should match the actual color of your car.
    2. No audio information when you’re in maps mode. Why not have a pop up when a song changes. Better yet have a small audio section in the gauge cluster.
    3. Pet mode. Not something I would use but people seem to want it.
    4. Walk away lock. Again not a big deal for me but I hear it a lot in the Facebook groups.

Can you use the tablet for what music is playing and map pm screen behind wheel?

@@loraj4712Yes you can but the gauge cluster doesn’t give you detailed info on your destination like the main screen does (ex battery percentage on arrival). It’s strange to me why Polestar can’t do what basically every other car company does at this point and give you the option to show audio information in the cluster.

You can swipe down in those quadrants to access the other apps in those sections.

Can’t believe you have to use a cable for carplay, wireless carplay has been a thing since 2017

This does show fullscreen Apple Maps in the digital gauge cluster, right?

So after the free data plan runs out, can it work through your phone signal automatically? Or you have to create a hotspot
