Not sure why everyone is too against cvt gearbox in fact it is ecvt.. I drive a Toyota Corolla with ecvt for the last 4 years without any issue, yes you will feel the rubber band effect when picking up speed, so what? Toyotas are highly reliable, mine has a 10 year warranty (service activated) drives like a charm!

Nothing mechanical about the CVT in the hybrid Innova. It's an eCVT. Which means electrical motors are engaged to cope during the torque challenged regions of the ICE.🙂

Did you try the hyrider? Was it a hybrid? If so then it uses similar eCVT technology as the hycross even though the engines are different.

I have driven my Innova Hyrcoss 6khas series of issues . 1. Super hard suspension 2. driver left knee hits the center consol. Which results left knee pain.Poor thigh support. 3. Build Quality - the bonnet vibrates like paper every time when hits a pothole or speed breaker.
