    I place one in my tent 30 minutes before I intend to sleep and keep the tent door wide open. Then turn it off when I close the tent door.

    It’s such a bummer that this won’t work for being in motion. My dog gets hit by mosquitoes when we go on walks and I don’t like using the dog repellent on her because it makes her fur dirty the more I use it. I shower to wash off the bug spray before I sleep on my bed. I can’t bathe my dog every time I use the dog repellent on her. I was really hoping this would be more like a wavelength that would keep that constant 15 foot radius. I’m really bummed since I just turned it on before taking my dog for a walk and now it’s going to be useless.

      Honestly if I was using it in a hunting blind that would be totally fine but the deer are certainly going to be able to smell the thermacell so from a hunting perspective I would not use thermostat because it's going to be a strange sense for the animals you are hunting and they will avoid the area I'm sure .

      You flick the switch to the off position, which turns off the gas

    Cool review, but is ThermaCell sponsoring this content?

    • @LoneCrowAdventures
      @LoneCrowAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. Thermacell is not a sponsor. I've purchased all my Thermacell units myself. I just really believe in their products.

      Awesome. Appreciate the response. One always has a little more confidence in a review when sponsored financial incentives are a non-issue. There’s a stark difference between a review and a commercial.

    How about the damn battery? Where and how do you put the battery in the thing?

    Well I usually believe what you say but reading all the horrible reviews on Amazon about this MR 300 handheld mosquito repellent, that now I'm doubting your reviews

      My personal favorite thermacell is the MR300. I don't mind messing around with butane cartridges. I like thus one particularly because when I'm on camping or fishing trips it's one less thing to charge as I usually have a lot of other tech that needs charged up. This one has a radius of 15 feet. A larger 20ft zone of protection is in the E55. A lot of people like this one because you only have to worry about liquid cartridges with no need for butane. Here's the link to that one if you're interested. www.amazon.com/dp/B08PDH936V/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_apa_gl_i_TYQKNFX58BESQPA5JFQ9?linkCode=ml1&tag=lonecrowadven-20 Not sure where you are getting bad reviews of the MR300. On Amazon it had over 20, 000 reviews when I posted this video and was very highly rated. If you filter any product by lowest reviews all the bad reviews will pop up first. Seems most people like it and I stand by my recommendation. I NEVER endorse a product I don't believe it. I'd rather not put it on the channel....

    Out of the box- My brand new thermacell "MR300" light button makes no noise and wont light. like pushing a soft spongy button with zero pop. Feel like my old one was a better design. Super disappointed.

      If you contact them they'll make it right. I once had a patio Shield that was tough to light and they just sent a new one when I emailed customer support, no questions asked.

      Are those the Chinese pads? I hear they are a bit smaller and you need 2x at a time.

    Ehhh…forgot it doesn’t work if it’s breezy at all either. Most places it is more often than not. These are over rated. No good walking or sitting in the breeze 👎

    isnt this just a mosquito coil but dependant on patented pads and butane to work instead of just burning by itself? i think they invented nothing, they just made their model to make more money!

    • @LoneCrowAdventures
      @LoneCrowAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      No mosquito coils have citronella on them which is different from allethrin
