Thanks so much for watching everyone! One quick note, I know the stripes are horizontal. I misspoke in the video and added a text overlay correcting the error but it must not be bold enough :) Thank you so much for all of your wonderful support and encouragement. Happy Sunday ❤️
Audrey Audrey Audrey...why did you made me hooked on you 🤣 kidding aside, I really luv your practical and awesome tips on how we can better ourselves. Very well thought of And your personality doesn’t hurt either. It is so soft and gentle, reasons why I luv you Vlogs. - from your new fan.
Hey Audrey, You look awesome. Very graceful in talk and presentation. I am a huge fan of you, not only by style of clothes. Also the way you talk, slower and calmer. I am on a heavier side. I would like to see styling tips for heavy personality. Also suggest some jewellery to play with. Thank you.
I’m only 48 seconds in and it hit me “I think I love her”. You come across as so kind and gentle. I just love the way you speak and the way you convey information and your knowledge in such a thoughtful and caring way. You really are so special. If you’re ever in Colorado, I’d love to meet for a coffee. (P.S. I’m not a weirdo.) You just inspire me so much, not just in fashion, but to be a better and more conscientious person. ❤️😊
Your videos are SO HELPFUL. I’m 40 years old and feel like I’m just learning to dress myself, and it’s thanks to people like you who can break down style and the “why” of good looks, not just the “what.” Thank you, Audrey.
”Life is to short to miss out on life because u don't like what u have to wear!” wow!!! That really hit me. I avoid going to baby showers, high school reunions, family events, I even avoid going out to run errands sometimes because of how I feel I look in my clothes. Thanks for helping me.
Audrey I typically don't comment on videos but I MUST today! This video was absolutely wonderful and so essential. I love watching your videos (whilst taking notes!) And this is no exception! I'm 31 and my goal is to elevate my style from casual to sophisticated and classic and your videos are a definite go-to for reference! I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series. Thank you for your channel😊
Your advice is excellent, but what I loved most of all about your video is the kind and calm approach you use! Your voice is so pleasant and you do not use harsh, brash criticism. Can't wait to watch more of your videos!
OMgeeeeeeee!!!!! I love you so much! I love how elegant and straight to the point your videos are! You are very elegant and your voice is so soothing! Plus I love you even more because you are classically trained😍I’m classically trained as well but on the piano. I love your style so much! Sending love from the Philippines!😘💕💕
Sometimes it’s so hard to see yourself objectively in ones clothes. Watching you in some of my own choices makes me realise the silhouette I am missing. I really need to embrace the “skimming the body” concept. It definitely flatters more than the looser fit that I have chosen to hide my flaws.
New subscriber today. You come across really well, knowledgeable, polite, with a warm, gentle & encouraging manner. I'm an accredited beauty therapist & make-up artist, but I don't follow many YT fashion/beauty channels as so many seem to have no real purpose & others seem to talk *at* you rather than *to* you, whether they are well-informed or not. You however, do it all very well & you come across as genuinely wanting to share what you've learned with us. Best of luck.
A money saving tip I did was to taylor my own clothes. I often buy from thrift stores, I have had 2 children and my weight has changed so to save money while transitioning I bought what I could afford and just sewed the pieces to fit my frame better. Sometimes just replacing buttons upstyles a blouse. The best tging to do is to know your frame, your silouette, and work with your wardrobe to work for your body. If it doesn't in it's current state, alter it.
I've been doing many of these, including the necklace trick for years but could never articulate why I make these styling choices. Thank you for explaining everything so clearly and succinctly. As always, lovely video!
Thanks I learned a few things such as tucking sweaters, reattaching pant hems, wearing pendants at the narrowest part of the waist and matching tights to ankle boots. Awesome!
Great video! Loved the before and after comparison! I am petite also (5’1&3/4”), also small framed, but with longer legs and a shorter torso. Pretty straight through the hips and busty. I tend to avoid wearing belts because it cuts the visual line, especially since I’m busty, but I do like what they can do to an outfit. I’d love to see some advice on wearing a belt in this situation. I’m loving the idea of a series. Love just sitting and listening to you. You’re so calming!
The last outfit you're wearing here decided me on what I'm wearing today. I have a new black skirt that I couldn't figure out what to wear with and impulsively bought black tights last week after not owning any for over a decade. I'm 5'2" and curvy and all of your tips are exactly what I've been needing in my life. Thank you so much for being here!
Hello Audrey! I like your tips very much. To me the most important thing in your video is that everyone should look at her/him self carefully and without any special criticism or ego asses the strong and weak point on the body. That's what you. You are fully aware of your strengths and weaknesses and you create an out that is most flattering for you. Thank you for that video 😊
Wonderful as always Audrey. Would love to know if there’s anything different you’ve done with your hair! As for requests: it would be great to see you take a couple of basic pieces and go through what you would request as far as tailoring. For example: shirt, skirt, pants, dress- what parts would you point out to improve the fit? Thanks!
What a great idea, Mama M.D.! I sew a little and make some of my alterations, and I often see women shaped like me (shorter than average, hourglass but overweight) that would look a million times better if they had someone take in their dresses at the waist, or put darts above the bust on a shirt, or hem their skirts at a flattering point on their legs, or shorten the sleeves on a jacket. It really makes a world of difference. As much as I grumble about paying good money for alterations (for the things that are beyond my skills) once I put that newly-tailored piece on, I have to recognize that it takes the look from slightly slovenly to "I am confident and well put together"...and that image has positive impact in all areas of my life. It's such a worthy investment!
This is enormously helpful--seeing the mistakes in the context of your improvements is terrific. Well done. (As always.) One request: I live in an extremely warm climate, so layers, long sleeves and even hose are usually not part of our wardrobes. Most people here seem to wear baggy shorts and flip-flops, but I moved here only recently, and I'm not a shorts and flip-flops kind of girl. If there's a way to make clothes flattering and attractive in a hot climate, I'd love to see it!
Sue Cox I live in the Knoxville, TN area and never wear shorts. Ankle pants in summer or a bit shorter length. You would be surprised how cool light cotton or linen can be. Looks more polished -- I'm not a shorts and flip flops girl either. Just pants as described above and various sandals.
South Moravia probably isn't that hot in comparison but it's hot enough for me, and I wholeheartedly second these suggestions. Lightweight natural fibre wovens. (Knits are more insulating than wovens, even in 100% cotton.) Skirts and dresses. Looser fit. And this is a bit counterintuitive, but if you have a lightweight woven in a light colour, covering up more actually helps you stay cooler, because the sun isn't beating down on your skin. (People traditionally living in deserts cover up for a reason.)
P.S. The one time someone told me I must be wearing designer clothing when I was not was in a summer outfit of white wide-legged trousers (I made them myself) and a white Indian blouse of a very simple looser shape but richly embroidered in turquoise. The blouse has cca 3/4 sleeves and a fairly modest neckline. I was more covered up than most, and still probably a lot more comfortable, clearly looking chic, and feeling great. :-)
You are, hands down, my favorite vlogger! I have picked up so many excellent tips and resulting purchases from you - Everlane jeans, the tiny diamond necklace, the Amika and all your other hair tips, your pointed black booties, a few blazers and shirts...we have a similar style and petite shape. I also love the way you have decorated your house. It’s beautiful!
I absolutely love this. I usually have trouble figuring out which colors suit me best. How do you know what colors to dress in and what colors to stay away from? In that same line of thought, how can you tell what your "season" is?
Your video really has helped me learn what has been my dressing mistake for the past years! I have always have the visual line (when I wear pants) at the hips and through your video, I see for myself how raising the visual line makes everything 10x better-looking!!
Your softness of voice really says 'elegance' and 'class' more than anything. I need to work on this, coming from a more boisterous Polish family! Thankz for demonstrating that w/o even trying.
@@kaiwindingwest vertical lines, dark tights and dark wash jeans, synched waists, heels, darker bottoms, no turtlenecks if you can avoid it, no chunky belts if you can avoid them, less distracting dresses, darker colours give a streamlined look as opposed to clothes with a ton of designs, etc
@@kateb6893 Loool, when you've met like 3 people named Kate and they were all nice and you think carriers of that name must all be nice, then youtube comes along..😂 There is nothing wrong with asking for help, she never said it was her job, she said "please share.." such a polite person you attacked, shame on you. If am tall and a fashionable person who seems to know about fashion more than me is sharing short people fashion tips coz she is short, I have the right to ask for tips for tall people and hope she responds, if she doesn it is still ok. Now, if she shares tall people tips instead, I keep quiet coz Ive been served, short people will ask her for tips on short people clothes.
I'm a bit confused by the cropped pants - to me, it makes you look shorter and sort of cut off, especially in the second outfit with the boots. Wouldn't longer pants make a nice, sleek line with the boots? It seemed awkward to have that bit of bare leg hanging out. Even with the other pant/shoe combinations, it felt like so much space between the hem and the shoe. I have very short legs, so I do everything I can to elongate them!
Your videos are so calming and helpful for me. I'm an American living in Europe and I feel very self-conscious about my limited wardrobe. I'm from Seattle so most of my best clothes are from Lululemon / TheNorthFace / other sports wear brands, and they all feel so out of place here in central Europe. I'm working on building my wardrobe even though I don't have much money to do so and I'm still struggling to feel confident here, but your advice is really helping me rethink some pieces that I own and combine them to make a more classy style.
I can't tell you how happy it makes me to read this! How exciting that you're living in Europe and I feel so lucky to play a small part in making it a memorable experience xx
I have updated three jackets which had bulky folded up sleeves, by tailoring the sleeves to fit better and just above my wrists. I also updated the buttons. What a difference a little update makes. I have also tailored my favorite jeans and learned how to re-attach the bottom hem. Thank you for your tips! I sew by hand. Its relaxing. Therapeutic even. 😀👍
Great video, It's also such a welcome change to see someone who dos'nt come across as shallow, condescending and overly self-obsessed! great advice and a' big Thumbs up' from me!
Wow, that thing you said about life being too short to hate what you're wearing really got me. I'm turning 30 this december but i stop going out clubing or sometimes even barsat 24 because i wasn't feeling good with the way i looked, which could had been different if i had these kind of tips at hand. Thank you so much! I really know nothing about fashion but feeling awkward and now i feel like i have a very good guidance. Thank you!
Audrey - Your vids rock! I took your advice and changed the way that I dress and wear my clothes. I have gotten so many compliments. Thank you for another great video.
Just found you in TH-cam and I already love you! I’m 25 and all my live I’ve struggled with my weight so that meant that most stylish clothes in shops wouldn’t fit me. That meant that I had to shop in shops that were targeted to an older audience (which was not a problem cause I’ve grown accustomed to basic pieces). Also most of the fashion bloggers made me think “yeah but I don’t have the money nor the body to wear that” so it is refreshing to see you not ultra skinny and not so fashion trend follower. I’ve never found a blogger that suits my personal style as close as you do. It looks to me that you would dress the same whether or not you were a blogger and that definitely apeals to me. PS. Forgive my mistakes, English is my sencond language.
Great suggestions as always, Audrey. And may I add a suggestion for you? To tell/remind people two things about vents: to check the back view to make very sure the vent isn't being pulled open, a problem one sees far too much; and conversely, when a garment is sold with the vent held closed with packing stitches, to remove the packing stitches. If you say it, far more people will see it than will notice my comment.
@@toplobster1040 It's the part at the bottom of a seam in a jacket that isn't stitched together. A man's suit jacket usually has either one in the centre, or two, one each side. In a jacket that fits properly the edges hang down straight, but if the jacket's too small the edges are pulled apart instead. That doesn't look good, but happens all too easily when a person gains weight, but doesn't see what that's doing to the vent(s) because they're at the back. Any help?
Great new series! So often I see women wearing crops that hit at the fullest part of the calf -- not a flattering length. I tend to wear ankle length or a tiny bit shorter to avoid the always-too-short-for-me cropped pants!
Thanks so much, Audrey. You know a lot about proportion and fashion, this is key to how we look & feel in our clothing. I am much older than you and you are teaching me many new ideas for dressing. Blessings, my young friend...
Love these videos! Lots of good tips. I did a closet purge this am and made a list of things I need to get. I also found lots I needed to recycle and lots I can reuse! I found I had a lot of items I had forgotten! Going to pare down my purchasing. I have a site for lovely tights. They fit well and the colours are fun! So good for converting things to cooler seasons!
Hi Audrey, really appreciate your channel! All of this can be applied to guys too, just with different priorities. Ive been looking for a channel like this for a long time because i am fascinated by how clothing can affect people around you. Great work, looking forward for the new videos!
This is one of the best videos of its kind I’ve ever seen! The side by side examples really help us to see exactly what you are talking about and the tips are so common sense and straightforward that they wil be easy to incorporate. I ❤️❤️❤️ That this is going to be a series because it is very helpful. Can’t wait!
I wish I had a friend like you when I was growing up. I learned so much about style from you. I am same body type as you so tips work awesome! Thank you!
Audrey, I love your style & the way you so elegantly present yourself. I have a question for you. Are you putting navy & black together? I'm not being critical & I love navy blue, used to wear it a lot. But many years ago I decided to wear a lot of black clothing & I eliminated navy from my palette to keep things simple. Tell me your thinking? I’d love to bring back navy.
Wow, talk about timing, Audrey. I just listened to a video by Hilary Rushford a few days ago, and she talked about the effects of creating a V at the top, even if it's adding a necklace like you showed here, and having some type of line at your thinnest point in the middle. This is going to help me SO much so I look forward to your future installments. You're my favorite style blogger.
Would you consider doing a capsule wardrobe suitable for a person who is a little overweight and retired (so have no need for any work/formal clothes)! Any tips would be appreciated!
I love your fashion advice! It’s so practical and I can apply your suggestions directly to my wardrobe. I noticed most if your tops hit right at the waist or are tucked in. What do you suggest for women wanting to draw attention away from the hips? I tend to wear longer oversized tops to conceal the mid region, but feel like that can look a little frumpy.
I love your style, classic and elegant. I am moving to a desert city very soon and I could use your input on what to wear and still look professional in 100 degrees temperature. Thank you...
I just stumbled on this channel and finally someone knowledgeable on fashion and can give universal useful tips for everyone-and not just their fashion opinions. Love this!!! Definately subscribing before 1 million subscribers!!!!!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Oh my, I happened on your channel and now I look forward to every episode. I have especially enjoyed your educational presentation of garments: essentials for your wardrobe, care measures and the importance of establishing a relationship with a garment Taylor, to finish each garment. What great advice you offered, thank you so very much Audrey, so glad I found you.....Caityann....
Thanks.these are simple and easy to follow. Would you please consider doing a video on olive-warm skin. In particular, the color wardrobe variations fall summer and winter. Thanks
Thank you so much! I actually don't think olive skin can be warm, only cool undertoned, but that it can only look warm because we often interpret yellow in skin to be warm. Yellow on the surface of our skin isn't the same as a warm undertone which makes it all so confusing lol. Essentially though, green isn't a naturally occurring color in skin and can only occur when blue (undertone from how blood appears in our veins) mixes with the yellow in our skin (overtone). The depth and amount of yellow and green in each olive skin can differ depending on hair and eye color, how tan or pale you are, the light you're looking at your skin in and even if it's sunny or cloudy outside - cloudy light is blue, sunny light is warmer in tone. I talk about this in my olive skin video in more detail and on that video and my seasonal color analysis video there are a few comments about olive skin and warm toned color palettes that may be helpful :) For me personally, I find that my olive skin looks much more yellow when I'm pale in the winter so I tend to avoid warm colors then because they make my teeth look less white and my flaws more obvious so I feel like I need to wear more makeup, whereas if I wear cool colors I don't need any makeup and I look like I'm wearing some. Also, as long as my makeup is perfectly suited to my olive skin I can wear almost any color and not feel disconnected. In the summer when I'm more tan I look less yellow so I wear some warmer colors without needing to wear more makeup. It's all up to your own personal preference and the message you want to convey to the world :) The actor Henry Golding is a good example of this because he's olive but many people think he's warm and in Crazy Rich Asians they dressed him exclusively in cool colors which balanced his skin and made him teeth look whiter, skin clearer etc to make him look sophisticated. In the movie The Gentlemen, his character is supposed to be untrustworthy so they dress him exclusively in warm colors which clash with his yellow olive skin which our brains interpret as being off - making him look untrustworthy. So interesting and so fun to find what works for you :) Thank you again for watching and best of luck and fun finding your color palette xx
Thanks Audrey! These types of videos are my absolute favorite. Taking each item at a time and making small changes tends to be the little bits that make the most difference. How do the French say it... je ne sais quoi 👌🏼 😘
I love this series. I just love your style and your voice is so soothing, I can listen to you all day. I'm glad I stumbled upon your channel. Keep up the amazing work you're doing. You're an inspiration!!
I wish I had this talent... i mean being able to just know what works. I suck at dressing myself ...I will be looking at more of your videos to get some good tips.
It was a pleasure to watch your video and listen to your voice. We're same height and when I was much younger I had a very similar body type than yours, now I'm 30 pounds overweight and my body resembles a bag. Anything I wear can't hide how big my arms and legs have turned to. So I have lost interest on looking better, because I really don't think I can't hide any of my flaws anymore.
Hi Audrey. I'm glad that I happened upon you. I'm always searching for decluttering, minimizing and downsizing but TH-cam thought I'd like to see your videos, too. Maybe you'll add in decor, hostessing and dressing for occasions in the future. So, entertaining. Thanks. =)
This was very informative and taught me a lot, especially the narrow part of the ankle and wrist. My question is about the jacket you said hits at a more flattering part of your leg. What’s a rule of thumb you apply for coat length? I’ve always struggled with finding a flattering coat length. Thanks!!
I just found your channel, and I love it! One thing this video has made me realize - I find the most "cool" looks on the spectrum from oversized/frumpy to sleek/feminine to be a few ticks short of the end result. I don't know what that means, but I'm intrigued by it.
have you ever heard of the Kibbe body types? it's a system used for caregorizing models and what clothes they look best in. this video touched on a lot of the same points! it's very helpful
Great tips, Audrey, love the long necklace idea for us shorter ones! One problem I find difficult is proportion with jackets, shoulders, sleeves etc. Sometimes I look when I was a child and my Mum used to buy a school blazer one size up, to enable me to "grow into it"! When a jacket really fits everywhere as it should, it makes such a difference. Love your hair today by the way! : -)
I just found you a few days ago. Thank you for a lovely channel. I don't know how it happened that women lost all their sense of fashion, how to look great and dress like a lady but I"m glad I'm not the only one left who enjoys looking great, even in the most simple, less expensive garments that anyone can afford.
Great video. Your advice is spot on and I love the way you explain how each element contributes to the whole leaner, sleeker look. One question, though. Due to foot issues I can't wear low vamps or pointed toes. Do you have an alternate recommendation for sleeker footwear?
I'm surprised that I'm just now coming across this video, but I honestly love it! This makes me think back to when What Not to Wear used to be on TLC. Thanks for sharing your tips and insights, Audrey!
Thank you again for a very informative video. I’ve already incorporated some of your tips into my wardrobe. I also whittled down my closet to more of a capsule wardrobe.
Nice video. I enjoy watching your channel. You do a great job explaining while being so pleasant. I always look forward to your seeing your videos on style. I seem to gravitate to fitted pants with light loose blouse with heals or short boots. It seems to work for my body type without losing my shape.
Thank you, as always so very classy and inspiring! ! A lot of the visual guidelines for elongation I already follow but I never even thought about cutting sleeves at the thinnest point of the wrist or ankle! As a petite "pear" this will definitely help further. Great stuff.
You are the sweetest spokes person ! Your ideas are so good. I just turned 52 :) and adopted a 12 & 15 year old Girls ..I want to dress age appropriate yr style is spot on. I see these 50 year old women with their teenagers clothes on.. They look silly... so I do not want that look. As a business owner your “luxe style “ has me eager to view your videos ! I wish you where my neighbor !! :) I am in Louisiana .. Hot hot & very humid ..I would have you over every day to be my stylist ! Thanks again sweet heart for your encouragement and knowledge. You’re a blessing to watch. Take care, Denise
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment and support of my channel, Denise! Congratulations on adopting your daughters and I can't thank you enough for following along. It makes me so happy that my videos are helpful :)
Love your channel. I would love to see a video on shoes. I have a difficult time finding comfortable yet stylish shoes and I’m willing to pay 💰. Also, stores or brands you prefer. Again Great advice and much appreciated
same. i look at these kinds of outfits and enjoy them on other people but i wouldnt feel comfortable in them. i love oversized sweaters and feel strange in anything with a heel
I would listen to you talk about anything, your voice is so calming and relaxing! You should consider performing for audiobooks! Love your content, new subscriber as of today!
"the goal of this channel is to share what I've learned over the years..." how sweet you are :). For me you are not beautiful just outside but I can sense you're more beautiful inside...
Great video - spot on advice - we are the same height and people are always so surprised when I tell them why height because they think I am so much taller than I actually am and it’s because I too have learned how to dress with vertical in mine. I absolutely avoid using pockets. They usually create bulk and break the up and down motion of the eye that creates the illusion of length. In fact on most of my jeans I sew pockets shut - to greater effect a streamline look. Also garments are not created as well as they used to be back in the 50s - so what a pocket does is🏵it pulls down on the shape of a fabric and eventually will distort the drape of a garment unless of course you have a “you’re a garment.
Darn it it got published before I had finished- What I was trying to say is unless the garment is handmade of couture quality a pocket can rarely accommodate the weight of caring things.
Thanks so much for watching everyone! One quick note, I know the stripes are horizontal. I misspoke in the video and added a text overlay correcting the error but it must not be bold enough :) Thank you so much for all of your wonderful support and encouragement. Happy Sunday ❤️

Never ever stop making content! You are just what we all need!
You can wear skirts !
J. M. Agree. Best solution I find is breathable fabrics.such as 100% cotton and linen. Not easy to find these days but worth the search.
South Moravia probably isn't that hot in comparison but it's hot enough for me, and I wholeheartedly second these suggestions.
Lightweight natural fibre wovens. (Knits are more insulating than wovens, even in 100% cotton.)
Skirts and dresses.
Please share some tips for heavier bodied women .
I agree with you, she's so clever I think she could tell us heavier women how to look slimmer!
Now, if she shares tall people tips instead, I keep quiet coz Ive been served, short people will ask her for tips on short people clothes.
thabuneni26nxaa , and then 11 people went ahead and gave her comment a thumbs up!? We live in an callous and anonymous society😕
@@kateb6893 Isn't she an image consultant/stylist?
I'm a bit confused by the cropped pants - to me, it makes you look shorter and sort of cut off, especially in the second outfit with the boots. Wouldn't longer pants make a nice, sleek line with the boots? It seemed awkward to have that bit of bare leg hanging out. Even with the other pant/shoe combinations, it felt like so much space between the hem and the shoe. I have very short legs, so I do everything I can to elongate them!
This video is SO helpful, thank you for making it! Seeing the line change really visually has taught me so much. Thanks!!
These tips were so relatable. Understanding these tweaks is such a game changer. A series on this topic with the Audrey esthetic would be wonderful.
You literally have the warmest smile I have ever seen and you're so helpful, thank you for existing 💞
K Foster I can’t tell you how happy that makes me! Thank you so much for leaving such a wonderful comment ❤️
What is a vent?
@@toplobster1040 It's the part at the bottom of a seam in a jacket that isn't stitched together. A man's suit jacket usually has either one in the centre, or two, one each side. In a jacket that fits properly the edges hang down straight, but if the jacket's too small the edges are pulled apart instead. That doesn't look good, but happens all too easily when a person gains weight, but doesn't see what that's doing to the vent(s) because they're at the back. Any help?
You always do a great job explaining in your videos. And your before and after pictures are great visuals!
I’m also 5”3 so I definitely like your suggestions. My legs have a tendency of looking like little stumps if I’m not careful. Thank u
I love the way you show us how to look better and theres a lot of tender and harmony in your voice!! Love your videos ♥️♥️♥️
Can’t wait!
Thank you Audrey for your response with helpful tips and suggestions. I will definitely be adding V-neck tops to my wardrobe. Hugs
This is the style content we need on youtube, not another Forever 21 haul 😝
I really like that you say “have presence in your clothing.”
Great advice! Any tips for maternity and postpartum?
Great ideas, I like the way you compared the looks to make it really clear how fit makes a difference. Thanks Audrey!
I found your channel today and I love it. You are real, unaltered human. Your content is very helpful and very useful. Love it!
Your voice is so soothing, I've started listening to your videos whilst getting ready for work in the mornings
Thanks Audrey! These types of videos are my absolute favorite. Taking each item at a time and making small changes tends to be the little bits that make the most difference. How do the French say it... je ne sais quoi 👌🏼 😘
Again you offer great, practical and realistic advice to look our best. I enjoy watching your videos.
I love your tips. Thank you for sharing them with all. How would you combine jeans, blouses and blazers? Once again, thank you.👏👏👏
It's very inspiring! I always think I'm wearing my clothes wrong but don't know how to change it. Thanks for your sharing!
These are some great suggestions! I tend to wear my tops untucked, but I'm short and hourglass, so I bet it makes my legs look even shorter.
Ohhhh I just love your voice! Could listen to you for ever! You are so kind and soft!
Thanks for the tips as well! :D very helpful!
Great video, Audrey! What is the make of the black boots in the second look please?
Thank you so much! They're they Marc Fisher 'Yale' boots :)
Thanks very much for taking the time to reply, Audrey. I have been watching your other videos and they are all great.
I just found you a few days ago. Thank you for a lovely channel. I don't know how it happened that women lost all their sense of fashion, how to look great and dress like a lady but I"m glad I'm not the only one left who enjoys looking great, even in the most simple, less expensive garments that anyone can afford.
In your first example- where is that more fitted blazer from? Thanks! This video is helpful to me.
Her voice makes me fall asleep 😴
I like you.
It feels relaxing listening to you.
I hope you can also give tips for chubby women.
This is such a great video. I love how you compared before and after. It’s such good advice. More please!
You have such clear diction!
I just wanted to ask what vamp means in relation to your shoes please?
Thank you so much! The vamp is the upper part of your shoe that covers your toes or how low the shoe is cut on your foot :)
Great video. Your advice is spot on and I love the way you explain how each element contributes to the whole leaner, sleeker look. One question, though. Due to foot issues I can't wear low vamps or pointed toes. Do you have an alternate recommendation for sleeker footwear?
Audrey this video is not just so educational but also your editing is so so good here❤️❤️😍☀️☀️☀️👌🏻
I just need to tell you how I love your boatneck striped tee. I think boatneck necklines are great with horizontal stripes.
They really are a match made in heaven! xx
Cynthia Freeman thank you so much! That combination sounds so lovely ❤️❤️
Learned some new tips here. Thanks for your thoughtful suggestions.
Perry Walton you’re so welcome! Thank you for watching ❤️
I wish I could have you come to my house and just look at my closet. You have great videos and such a happy way of presenting it!
Thank you, as always so very classy and inspiring! ! A lot of the visual guidelines for elongation I already follow but I never even thought about cutting sleeves at the thinnest point of the wrist or ankle! As a petite "pear" this will definitely help further. Great stuff.
I'm so happy you liked it! Thank you so much for watching xx
I love the stripe top with the tights and ankle boots. You look lovely. Thanks for the great tips.
Take care,
Denise
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment and support of my channel, Denise! Congratulations on adopting your daughters and I can't thank you enough for following along. It makes me so happy that my videos are helpful :)
Love your channel. I would love to see a video on shoes. I have a difficult time finding comfortable yet stylish shoes and I’m willing to pay 💰. Also, stores or brands you prefer. Again Great advice and much appreciated
My problem is I'm Jekyll & Hyde.
I really want to look classy, but I'm just kind of a messy, out-of-the-box person.
Same girl 😭
same. i look at these kinds of outfits and enjoy them on other people but i wouldnt feel comfortable in them. i love oversized sweaters and feel strange in anything with a heel
Hello, Audrey, I love your style!! Absolutely head over heals for the black pointy toe flats. Are you able to provide details/link??? Thank you!!!
I really like these tips! I’m so short and I want to look more put together. This video really helped me a lot.
I LOVE this video, you did really a great job
Magdalena Kuffel thank you so much! ❤️❤️
