Thank you so much for this tutorial. My hair is also thick and wavy like yours, and was also curly as a baby. I am tired of trying to smoothen it down and styling it like straight hair, always felt like I was missing something. Really needed your tutorial. Thanks again!

May i ask how many days you go between washes? Because I tend to go at least 3 days or so

My hair takes 5-6 hours to air dry🥲 I don’t know if that means it’s low/high porosity?
But it gets really frizzy with no product and it’s slightly curlier than yours, it more like 2c-3a curls
I love your hair by the way!❤

Thank you! ❤ That sounds like your hair could be low porosity if it takes long to air dry.

Thanks for the video! I feel like my hair is pretty similar to yours. For me at least because it is so thick the waves/curls often get weighed down by their own weight. Any suggestions? I'm going to try the bowl method and see if that helps!

You did a great job explaining. I'm very lazy to put time to style my hair. I Shampoo at night. Put in a serum. Use scrunchie for a high twisted bun. In the morning take scrunchie out. Hair dry and waves all over then out the door

Thank you! I used to do it the way you do before I learned what a wavy routine was haha

Love your precise content. and your hair! Will this work for fine wavy hair as well? I tried using gel but didn't like how my hair turned out. Think mousse will suit my hair more. Any product recommendations for fine wavy hair?
    Thanks

Thank you so much! I would suggest using a foam like Function of Beauty wavy hair mousse or Miribel Naturals volumizing foam.

Hi Sabrina, thank you for sharing this tutorial 😊 Your hair looks gorgeous. When you get it cut, what exactly do you ask for at the salon? My haircut somehow never turns out great for my waves.

Hi! Apologies for my super late reply. I ask for long layers in a U shape and face framing layers.🤍

We gotta put all styling products like gel and leave in conditioner while hair is wet

      ??

Yes! It helps to apply the product on wet hair in order for the product to work properly.

Do we need to put serum???? ...thing is i live in a very humid area...so my hair is frizzy and rough especially when i tie a pony the ends are sooo thin and rough

@@oliviazuzarte490 I like to combine leave in with gel and mousse or foams for longer lasting results but not necessary! It’s up to you! Experiment with what you want to try and you’ll find what works best for you. I have the same hair type as you!

so you put a bunch of product in your hair and rinse it of in the bowl essentially... seems like a waste....

    • @sabrinawithlove
      @sabrinawithlove  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@borednow it’s not though. I don’t use a full bowl of water and it distributes the product evenly on my hair. Water is the key for the product to work properly.
