  • Pheasant Island (Isla de los Faisanes/Île des Faisans) is an interesting quirk of history. Situated in the river that acts as the border between France and Spain, it is shared between the two countries. We wanted to visit the island but the task proved more difficult than first thought...

This was fun and educational! Found this quite tense on the return swim - glad you both made it back across the border!

Interesting adventure guys... so the Island changes fron Spanish to French territory every six months? A very civilised arrangement.

I just had to subscribe, the amount of effort you both put into that 😂 I've been curious for a little while to see what's on the island, sad to say not much, not much at all lol

Thanks man! True, not much to see on the island but it's worth the visit, and it's a nice swim too. - Ollie

Hah you guys are cute, are you a couple or just close friends? I enjoyed your video on Basque culture btw. I didn't realise that Western Europe had any language Isolates. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was in Eastern Europe

Interesting video. Would have been more interesting if the Spanish police had arrested you. You would have been held until the French picked you up and took you to France to be charged with the offence. I think it would have been very expensive.

Why didn't you turn off your t-shirts for swimming? #nohomo

@@ollieandsebastian You didn't. I would just like to share my thought that you would not have to dry your t-shirt afterwards if you swam without it :D

@@markusvonalea4451 We don't always think in terms of pure logic, that's probably the reason why 😂 - Ollie
