The Sonic Wake was my first boat, this spring! I cart-wheeled it, stuffed it so deep it took about 15 seconds before it reappeared at the surface and she lived through all of my first time RC boating mistakes! :) It does need a longer rudder to fix the left turn issue... Thanks for the video, it was not just educational, but pretty funny to! LOL!
You will love it. Anything that’s gone wrong was my own fault. Blew a motor, ruined a receiver cause I kept getting it wet, Seized up the flex cable inside the stuffing tube, etc. probably most wouldn’t have happened if I was more careful. But that wouldn’t be any fun. Lol
I dont have a sonic wake but I have 2x Blackjack 24 V1 and the 42 and I have flipped many times trying to learn to tune these boats and I can say with confidence that I can say that Proboat makes good stuff the electronics, ehh I always upgrade them!! Just sayin.
There's V2s going over 65 MPH with the stock ESC and motor, so too weak and "needed" to be changed is only necessary if you are trying to hit 70 MPH or something.
