I love the Bootcamp series on the Triple and Legend! My old brain has a hard time with comprehending the manual. I really appreciate these. Thank you for taking the time to put these together.
That may have been me that interrupted with a phone call 😅. If it was, let me just tell ya that the triple has been doing great. I found 3 pieces of jewelry on the beach a few days ago with it. Some coins deep in wet sand also. I also found a ring and more relics with it tonight in a relic site I have. It dipped its toes in fresh water for the first time and got a ring and an old flat button.
What do you think about this? Before starting to detect a field/park/beach or whatever: Set sensitivity to MAX, then do your noise cancellation (so it cancels EMI at max sensitivity), then do a ground balance, after which you can adjust your sensitivity to a lower setting? I heard this may be a better way to setup your detector before starting your hunt.
Great videos on Triple Score even though I don’t own them. I may grab a triple as a loaner- backup detector. Would love to see one on the Manticore, picked one up to go with my D2 but really unsure as I have not used Minelab products for years since XP came out. If you would be so kind to do one I think many of us would love to see it. Thanks again.
Mild to moderate soil. Would you take a moment to equate Triple Score ground balance numbers to low, mild, moderate, and highly mineralized soil, please? I’m trying to relate the numbers I’ve become accustomed to in my area on my 4yr old Simplex + and my new Triple Score. I don’t know how our sandy soil in southeast Missouri compares to your eastern U.S. area. Thank you, Calabash.
That is a question I do not know the answer too....I never ground balance here close to the house and I have no data points from other around the world with tougher ground...Best way to test probably would be do a depth test and see how the results compare to mine??
Do you use multi frequency everywhere or so say in a tot lot maybe just a single frequency? If you ever use single what frequency would that be? Thank you for all your answers
@@calabashdiggeradventures okay yeah me too I use all of your settings except for I use two recovery speed. Everything else I use. The reason I was asking is because there's a guy on here that was saying he uses 15 on his legend and he said that multi-frequency is just too sporadic and he's hates it. He said he likes to run super high sensitivity and he gets just as good as results and I'm like well. My sweet spot seems to be multi 2 with my sensitivity anywhere from 9 to 13 is what I can usually get away with but it works great
Yes, about a new triple score and I have got to update it but the problem is I do not have a Computer Just have a phone I went out a couple times and tried it. I got aggravated because I did not find nothing but that’s part of the game. I don’t know if I have it set up right one day I will figure it out.
@@garyvickers9474 The update is no mandatory to find good stuff. Don't give up, you'll find it. Maybe use a friend's computer or maybe go to a library. The update is easy and takes little time. Good luck!
If you can get the triple, elite, legend, or the equinox 800 for the same price, which one would you buy ? your input is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
So you use pitch tone. Is there a reason ? I think my simplex had 3 tones. I've been using 6 tone. I mean I always read the numbers for a clue so I was curious if pitch had some benefits

Yes it was
Would love to see a double Score video like this
The only thing I wish it had like my simplex was a mute button. That was handy when you would put it down to check a plug
Great teaching video to help people ,well done CD
Glad it was helpful!
Well done Calabash 👍
Great video about the Triple Score. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Great video. This will help a lot of users.
Glad you think so!
Awesome video, a ton of information, well done🍺
Thanks 👍

I don't know ..Need to see a video showing the so called better results.
Good class thanks.
You are welcome
Another informative video thanks Calabash 😁
My pleasure!

Gonna do one on the Manticore.
I love your settings. One question. Do you use the bottle cap reject option? Or leave it at zero
I leave it at 0 but would use it if bottle caps became a problem.
@@calabashdiggeradventures yeah I have it on zero I think. Whatever factory settings are. Ok thank you

I use multi everywhere...Unless EMI is bad.

Did they fix the pinpoint issue you demonstrated in another video about a month ago? Thanks.
Its better but I still think it needs to be improved...
Forgot to ask you why is your favorite tones on Manticore for relics and coins?
Depth for relics and 1 region all tones for coins..

Run it like calabash showed and have confidence in it. I’ve tested it in challenging sites and it’s a performer.

Do you run tracking ground balance on the beach ? And what sensitivity, many thanks
Yes I do! sens around 10-12 and the machine is super stable...recovery 2

performance is very close on all those detectors..at current price I would buy the triple..

I always enjoy your videos. Can you do one for ML Elite like this?
Yes...

I relic hunt mostly and it alerts very well in iron on non ferrous targets.
@@calabashdiggeradventures I kind of wondering if I should give it a try even coin hunting.
Excellent video, do you run a legend about the same?
close..
scale is not the same on a Legend...
Can you guess which frequencies the M1, M2 and M3 are running on? Nokta say it is a secret....
dont know exactly..
would you run recovery on 1 on a clean beach to get max depth ?
I dont know how stable 1 will be in the salt water...The lowest you can go will be fine but remember your sweep speed might need to slow down too..
Recovery 2 works well in the surf. It’s very deep as well.
Looks like someone got you with buckshot Calabash lol.
LOL...Blue screen
@@calabashdiggeradventures Awesome as always and keep that info coming.
