Wholeheartedly recommend Mooncat's shade Millenia for anyone who wants an actual galaxy on their fingernails, definitely my favorite polish of all time! It's a black base with a scattered holo and a magnetic pigment that's prominently a spacey blue that shifts to a beautiful magenta. Seriously gorgeous
I find “crelly” formulas so unique, especially since a lot of the ones I’ve tried self level and really transform between 1-3 coats. I can’t get over them!
Velociraptor shocked me, it’s not typically a polish that I would go for and I actually only purchased it to complete my MC collection…and it’s become one of my absolute favorites! It’s stunning in person.
Dragon Scales & Supervillan also have the same formula as Spaceoddity. I own Dragon Scales and it's the polish that I get the most compliments on. I just purchased spaceoddity & supervillan today, excited to wear all 3 of these polishes together!
The real metallic finish is not something you see that often anymore. I actually like it 😊 I know some don't appreciate the streakiness, but if you're careful it's not that bad, I think.
I still have House of Hades on my wishlist 💙 I would also like to nominate Ghosts of Hecate as a must. I absolutely love that nail polish. And I think in my opinion the more textures and combination of finishes is the most unique type of nail polish.
I love shimmery chrome finishes using large particle shimmers and I want every color to be made in this finish! I got Bluebird Lacquer’s Rollin’ with my Chrome-ies during a PPU and am now obsessed. Foil, metallic, chrome and shimmers that appear lit from within are my favorite.
I said the same thing. I also have that bluebird lacquer polish. OH MY GOD. OBSESSED. I got a bunch in August. Just did cuticula from another planet today, which is a really cool shimmer as well, but now I really want to put the bluebird back on. Lol.

Flight of the Monarchs reminds me of an Arizonian sunset. I'm guessing that the sunsets in Las Vegas are very similar a sunset vibe. Mooncat is absolutely awesome! Love Mooncat. They are so unique and different! I totally fell in love with Stumped. And you would think with the glitter and flakies they would be hard to remove but they are super easy. Thank you for introducing me to this brand!
even though you mentioned *not* to mention them, i think polishes that mix in like 20 different things are the unique ones. so for example a jelly multichrome with a shimmer and holo and reflective and iridescent flakies. and to go even extra, lets just optionally say the magnetic version on top of that. i dont remember off the top of my head, but there's several mooncat, kb shimmer, rogue lacquer, painted polish, cirque, or ILNP polishes you've mentioned being "something you've never seen before" in your collection, so i think those would qualify as unique enough.
For me, thermal crellies are super unique! Like having the perfect balance of flakies, speckles or glitter and then a good thermal change on a smooth formula, that’s a very unique polish for me!
I made my first mooncat order last month thanks to you. 😆 I got a few colors from the Alice in wonderland collection, and WOW. I was so impressed!!! Ohhhh and Dragon Scales. It was one of those polishes where I looked down at my nails at least a hundred times during the day just to stare at it! Through your channel is where I found this brand and immediately fell in love with the unique colors and their story. And shortly after I got my first set their formula became the one I love the most. Dark Horse was one of the main reasons I bought the Midnight Rodeo collection, and I remember how much Flight of the Monarchs jumped out to me.
If you add a coat of Velociraptor over a black base, you have the perfect Halloween mani. I prefer it with a glossy top coat but matte is beautiful too. :)

My last order I got antivenom, Mercury's tears, Fallen angels, and heart of stone. You've got to get Antivenom if you love green. It's a very pale almost white base with a green shimmer. I'm in love with all of the polishes at mooncat and it was so hard to pick which to get.
I got my first order from Mooncat today. My nails are natural and look amazing polished with Fake Halo. My daughter has Mermaid Bait. Mermaid Bait is an amazing colour too. I wish people reviewing the nail polishes would mention the colours are most vibrant in natural sunlight. We walked outside into the autumn sun (we live in Australia) and the intensity of the colours are so much more powerful! The effect intensifies.
Love Mooncat - I would recommend Boa Constrictor if you don’t already have it. Perfect for fall/winter! I think the crelly finishes are very unique and really enjoy wearing them. One of my favorites is “The Blair Witch” from Red Eyed Lacquer that I got through PPU. It was my intro to crellies ❤

I picked up smoke screen, curse of calypso, tectonic shift, mermaid bait, pandemonium, sin eater, full scream ahead, haunted forest, space oddity, from the ashes, a dolls house, paradise found, and Freudian slip. I didn't think of using Catfished as a topper. Looks great. I found Moon cat at the end of last year and have been so impressed. Flight of the Monarchs has to be one of my all time faves. It's so beautiful. I'm so glad they bought out the Oddities collection. I think they all need a collection around them.

Mooncat is one of my fave brands for nail polish their shades are to die for, they just came out with a power puff girls collab and the colors are pretty good. I have a bias towards their green, red and purple shades, I looked at my collection recently and all I saw was the hulk 💀
I've never tried Mooncat, but I have seen so many stunning polishes from the brand that I may have to check their site out, especially since they are running a sale right now. As far as rare or unique polishes, I don't even know if any brands make it anymore - but what about crackle finish? I used to love painting my nails a really fun color and then top it with crackle to watch it peak through when it dried down with all those little cracks. So fun, but I just can't seem to find it anymore. Edited to say I just ordered two polishes fromMooncat - Pandemonium and Stumped. I'm excited to try them!!
My mooncat must have is ‘beware the kraken’. It’s one of the rewards in the shop currently, so you don’t even need to spend money on it, just points 😎 also tectonic shift is a super unique polish in my collection, I wore it a lot over the summer.

I feel like most brands don't really do intentionally textured polishes. Polishes with big glitters can have a textured finish, but I think that's more unintentional. I can only really think of a few brands off the top of my head that have done textured polishes, like the Zoya pixie dust polishes, or the sinful colors sneaker polishes. The most recent ones I can think of are the sally hansen peeps polishes.

My favorite Mooncat polish has to be Mortals Be Warned. I'm surprised it's not on your list. That purple multichrome is just perfection. Thermal is the most unique in my opinion and one that I always grab whenever I find one. I would love to see Mooncat drop a thermal, all of their other mixes are so perfect I think they would kill it.

I think the most rare nail polish effect is solar changing. I only have one... So if nothing else, that's the most rare in *my* collection. And i know this because you inspired me to get my swatches in order! For the past week and a half, swatching and labeling swatch sticks has been my ADHD hyper fixation. Im 800+ in, my indies are done except for my Live Love Polish drawer (which is the origin company of Mooncat) and my cool toned purple drawer. Then its on to drugstore polishes! I need more tape for my dymo 🤣
My favourite Mooncat polish (and finish!) Is "Raaawr!" from the Prehistoric collection. The shade of purple is perfect, the flakies are perfect, the way it dries down matte and looks almost like a little speckled easter egg, and it LASTS so well, I can keep it on for longer than any other polish, just occasionally redoing a matte topcoat to keep it sealed in. It and Siren's Deceit are the two mooncats that I'm halfway down my bottles with, but Raaawr definitely is very unique compared to the rest of my humble collection.
Hi Kelli! I'm just catching up on missed videos, so I'm late to respond. I love your eye makeup in this video! You created such a wonderful and spacey look. I love the way it coordinates with your celestial top! I think the most unique finish has got to be that pebbly one. I can't remember which company does it the most, but I've seen it in your videos. I think I remember it being a part of a Jurassic Park collection. When the company put that pebbly finish on a green polish, it look like crocodile skin on your nails. I thought that was so unique.

Kelli, the ONE TIME you stick to 10 in a top 10 is when I really needed you to show more!!!! I was going to pass on Space Oddity because it didn't look like something I normally gravitate towards (pun fully intended and zero regrets). Midnight Drive is on my wishlist and it's a great dupe for HT I'm Live or Orly Synthetic Symphony. Catfished, Dark Horse, House of Hades, and Flight of the Monarchs are in my cart. So is Velociraptor but it's also a reward this month (if it hasn't sold out yet). I was thinking about Fake Halo for a coworker who said she likes neutrals/oranges/browns and the oil as a birthday gift later this month.

Kelli I hope you see this🥺 I had a couple of friends try Orly bonder base for the first time and complain with how it interacted with her mooncat polish. I wonder if Orly Bonder might not be good for the sheerer kind of delicate formulas because I struggled with Head in the Clouds which is a white with blue shimmer but had no problem with the mooncat flakies. I remember you had a complaint about the Goddess Gomplex collection that came out in the Spring and you used bonder base in that video. Anyway, I hope you see this and hopefully keep that in mind in the future. I'm 100% buying Space Oddity for the sale O.O
Thanks for the heads up! I haven't had issues with sheers and Orly Bonder before but I'll have to try those again with a different base and see! I have worn these shades in this video with Bonder though and they worked well 😅

Moonicorn, Velociraptor, and Dark Horse are my favorites. I actually have all of these except the purple creme. Thanks to your videos. I became a Mooncat addict as well. I had a couple from them, but when you started swatching, I was so hooked. They have the most beautiful and different combinations. It's like they said let's just throw it in, and who knows. Then it's amazing. Maybe the eeny meeny miny moe it. I don't know. But whatever they do it works.
Haha agreed, they definitely go with such unique combos! And now that we've seen some of their "rejects" in the misfits collection, I want to see more of what they made that didn't get approved to be in a set haha!

As far as your question---I would just love to see lots more duochromes like KB Shimmer does. The ones that go from black to red or pink to gold, etc. I see very few in over the counter brands, and I just love them! And GOOD GLITTERS, toppers or otherwise! Love a good glitter and we need more!
Ooh yeah. Honestly all the indie brands I've been using lately are spoiling me so much for drugsfode/mainstream brands. I'd really love to see those bigger brands do more unique finishes! But surprisingly I think OPI has been doing some funky ones so hopefully the other brands will follow haha!

I know collaboration polishes aren't up for the sale but I HAVE to mention A Very Merry Unbirthday - it's so good! I want to get Pomegranate Seeds but I'm trying to justify both A Very Merry Unbirthday and Pomegranate Seeds because they look so similar lol. For finish rarity - I think purposefully textured polish like the dinosaur skin China Glazes are the rarest since most people don't go for them. Then I think actually magnetics, only because they seem more costly to make and I've never seen a mainstream brand do them.
I'm having the same struggle with pom seeds because I already have unbirthday. I've seen pics comparing them but I feel like it's still very hard to tell whether or not I need pom seeds.

Mooncat are just one of the very very unique polishes brand I've seen seen from all of the other brands shown. They are just insane with the shimmers and the glitters. I Am SPEECHLESS. The name "Mooncat" it's self is such a Halloweeny name. I think the best finish is the matte finish. ❤❤
Unique finish.... Flakies maybe. Because it can change the polish so much. Are they opaque, multichrome, metallic, holo, iridescent? What color of iridescent? (Think holo taco unicorn skins) What size are they? Are there a mix of types of flakes in there? Is it a flakie bomb? Can you make them opaque/full coverage in a couple coats? Are they just a sparse topper? And how different it looks matte vs glossy. Mooncat - have you tried mermaid bait? I got what I believe is the same color (or close enough) from bluebird lacquer during polish pickup and I. AM. OBSESSED. It's so good. So shifty. Chrome like. Really looks different in all lighting.
Recently I bought a thermal jelly with rainbow glitters. The thermal switch was from a light brown (almost cream) finish when warm to a dark brown when cold. I think that’s the most special, rare and cool polish I own. 😍

Thermals seem to be few and far between, so I'd say they are the rarest. That, and glow in the dark. Its sad because these two are my favourite kinds of specialty polish 😢
I love Mooncat. It's quickly becoming a favorite brand of mine. I actually just did a vertical half and half of black and white, with the white being Curiosity's Prey. It was gorgeous and so much fun. If you don't have Curiosity's Prey, I highly recommend it. It's such a versatile white flakey. I have Mad Hatter and Black Flame Candle as well as Rue Morgue (which is matte). Kelli, I really think you should get Raven (which is Rue Morgue's purple counterpart) if you don't have it already. It's such a perfect gothic color. I hope that I can spare some money to get Catfished and Moonicorn at some point.
@@KelliMarissa You should. Rue Morgue is stunning and I had a hard time deciding between buying Raven or Rue morgue, but blue was more my thing. It's such a unique color. It's a matte polish that is sort of blackened with this sapphire blue sparkle going through it. I want to say it's a dual chrome, but it isn't. Because it's matte, the black looks like stone, and the blue makes it look "lit from within", as you like to say. It reminds me of a geode. Raven would be a deep amethyst geode and Rue Morgue is sapphire. I've never seen another polish like it. I love it for Halloween, but, honestly, they both kind of remind me of a rainy city night. One by the river/lake, and one in a garden. No idea why. lol.
The most unique finish, in my view, is the finish of Chanel Sunrise Trip. It is truly a one-of-a-kind polish that features such an incredibly vivid, saturated colour and yet is so utterly translucent, it truly looks like you used ink to paint your nails! I miss it sorely and I wish somebody would come up with a way to replicate it and expand it to other colours too! Like imagine that, but a green teal uuuugh!!
I picked up 3 of these polishes: House of Hades, Flight of the Monarchs, and Spaceoddity. SO excited for them. But I also ordered 16 total 😅 To be fair, 5 were for friends. I let them join my free shipping. As for most unique/rare, maybe full coverage flakey polishes? I think that's what makes polishes like Spaceoddity feel so special.
I'm gonna be difficult and interpret your question as "most eye-catching formula" lol, and I would say multichrome/duochrome shimmers with flakies. The most compliments and "how are your nails doing that?" comments I get from non-nailie folks tend to be when I'm wearing something like Cuticula's "Siren Song" or a BKL shimmer with a flakie topper. As for Mooncats you need, if you dont already have Triceratops I think you'd love it!
I was so excited for Velociraptor, and I finally put it on last week! It is more beautiful than I could have imagined lol Plus a week later and only a little wear on tips of my nails. That says a lot for a polish with my job. :) Your pics are great. My top pics right now are Velociraptor, Flight of the Monarchs, the whole Expedition Atlantis collection (minus the sandy one that was sold out), Weeping Willow, Shroomdom, Curiosity's Prey, Apparition, and What a Brilliant Nose. Can't really pick a fav. finish, but I love magnetics.

Crackle formulas! That was such a fun thing this year when Holo Taco released one. I haven’t seen that since the early 2000’s and had the OPI ones in every color I could find.

Love Mooncat. They are so unique and different! I totally fell in love with Stumped. And you would think with the glitter and flakies they would be hard to remove but they are super easy. Thank you for introducing me to this brand!
even though you mentioned *not* to mention them, i think polishes that mix in like 20 different things are the unique ones. so for example a jelly multichrome with a shimmer and holo and reflective and iridescent flakies. and to go even extra, lets just optionally say the magnetic version on top of that.
i dont remember off the top of my head, but there's several mooncat, kb shimmer, rogue lacquer, painted polish, cirque, or ILNP polishes you've mentioned being "something you've never seen before" in your collection, so i think those would qualify as unique enough.
For me, thermal crellies are super unique! Like having the perfect balance of flakies, speckles or glitter and then a good thermal change on a smooth formula, that’s a very unique polish for me!
Pomegranate Seeds has such a Persephone and Hades vibes, and I love it! Mooncat rocks!🎉❤

Through your channel is where I found this brand and immediately fell in love with the unique colors and their story. And shortly after I got my first set their formula became the one I love the most. Dark Horse was one of the main reasons I bought the Midnight Rodeo collection, and I remember how much Flight of the Monarchs jumped out to me.
They really are such quality polishes, I'm so impressed with the brand!
If you add a coat of Velociraptor over a black base, you have the perfect Halloween mani. I prefer it with a glossy top coat but matte is beautiful too. :)

My last order I got antivenom, Mercury's tears, Fallen angels, and heart of stone. You've got to get Antivenom if you love green. It's a very pale almost white base with a green shimmer. I'm in love with all of the polishes at mooncat and it was so hard to pick which to get.

I got my first order from Mooncat today. My nails are natural and look amazing polished with Fake Halo. My daughter has Mermaid Bait. Mermaid Bait is an amazing colour too.
I wish people reviewing the nail polishes would mention the colours are most vibrant in natural sunlight. We walked outside into the autumn sun (we live in Australia) and the intensity of the colours are so much more powerful! The effect intensifies.
Love Mooncat - I would recommend Boa Constrictor if you don’t already have it. Perfect for fall/winter! I think the crelly finishes are very unique and really enjoy wearing them. One of my favorites is “The Blair Witch” from Red Eyed Lacquer that I got through PPU. It was my intro to crellies ❤
I love mooncat, I have several of their polishes already and just dropped 200 on more of them. I picked up smoke screen, curse of calypso, tectonic shift, mermaid bait, pandemonium, sin eater, full scream ahead, haunted forest, space oddity, from the ashes, a dolls house, paradise found, and Freudian slip. I’m so excited 😊😊😊

I didn't think of using Catfished as a topper. Looks great. I found Moon cat at the end of last year and have been so impressed. Flight of the Monarchs has to be one of my all time faves. It's so beautiful. I'm so glad they bought out the Oddities collection. I think they all need a collection around them.
I hadn't thought of using it as a topper, either, but it was already sitting in my cart for my next buy. I have a lot of turquoise, but there's no reason not to get one more!

Mooncat is one of my fave brands for nail polish their shades are to die for, they just came out with a power puff girls collab and the colors are pretty good. I have a bias towards their green, red and purple shades, I looked at my collection recently and all I saw was the hulk 💀

I've never tried Mooncat, but I have seen so many stunning polishes from the brand that I may have to check their site out, especially since they are running a sale right now. As far as rare or unique polishes, I don't even know if any brands make it anymore - but what about crackle finish? I used to love painting my nails a really fun color and then top it with crackle to watch it peak through when it dried down with all those little cracks. So fun, but I just can't seem to find it anymore. Edited to say I just ordered two polishes fromMooncat - Pandemonium and Stumped. I'm excited to try them!!

My mooncat must have is ‘beware the kraken’. It’s one of the rewards in the shop currently, so you don’t even need to spend money on it, just points 😎 also tectonic shift is a super unique polish in my collection, I wore it a lot over the summer.

I feel like most brands don't really do intentionally textured polishes. Polishes with big glitters can have a textured finish, but I think that's more unintentional. I can only really think of a few brands off the top of my head that have done textured polishes, like the Zoya pixie dust polishes, or the sinful colors sneaker polishes. The most recent ones I can think of are the sally hansen peeps polishes.

My favorite Mooncat polish has to be Mortals Be Warned. I'm surprised it's not on your list. That purple multichrome is just perfection. Thermal is the most unique in my opinion and one that I always grab whenever I find one. I would love to see Mooncat drop a thermal, all of their other mixes are so perfect I think they would kill it.

I think the most rare nail polish effect is solar changing. I only have one... So if nothing else, that's the most rare in *my* collection. And i know this because you inspired me to get my swatches in order! For the past week and a half, swatching and labeling swatch sticks has been my ADHD hyper fixation. Im 800+ in, my indies are done except for my Live Love Polish drawer (which is the origin company of Mooncat) and my cool toned purple drawer. Then its on to drugstore polishes! I need more tape for my dymo 🤣

My favourite Mooncat polish (and finish!) Is "Raaawr!" from the Prehistoric collection. The shade of purple is perfect, the flakies are perfect, the way it dries down matte and looks almost like a little speckled easter egg, and it LASTS so well, I can keep it on for longer than any other polish, just occasionally redoing a matte topcoat to keep it sealed in. It and Siren's Deceit are the two mooncats that I'm halfway down my bottles with, but Raaawr definitely is very unique compared to the rest of my humble collection.

I think the most unique finish has got to be that pebbly one. I can't remember which company does it the most, but I've seen it in your videos. I think I remember it being a part of a Jurassic Park collection. When the company put that pebbly finish on a green polish, it look like crocodile skin on your nails. I thought that was so unique.

Kelli, the ONE TIME you stick to 10 in a top 10 is when I really needed you to show more!!!! I was going to pass on Space Oddity because it didn't look like something I normally gravitate towards (pun fully intended and zero regrets). Midnight Drive is on my wishlist and it's a great dupe for HT I'm Live or Orly Synthetic Symphony. Catfished, Dark Horse, House of Hades, and Flight of the Monarchs are in my cart. So is Velociraptor but it's also a reward this month (if it hasn't sold out yet). I was thinking about Fake Halo for a coworker who said she likes neutrals/oranges/browns and the oil as a birthday gift later this month.
Haha sorryyyyy I just didn't want to overwhelm people with options! Honestly my two fave collections from MC so far (aside from the misfits) is their Midnight Rodeo and their Underworld sets, so I'd recommend any of those tbh!
Kelli I hope you see this🥺 I had a couple of friends try Orly bonder base for the first time and complain with how it interacted with her mooncat polish. I wonder if Orly Bonder might not be good for the sheerer kind of delicate formulas because I struggled with Head in the Clouds which is a white with blue shimmer but had no problem with the mooncat flakies. I remember you had a complaint about the Goddess Gomplex collection that came out in the Spring and you used bonder base in that video. Anyway, I hope you see this and hopefully keep that in mind in the future. I'm 100% buying Space Oddity for the sale O.O
Thanks for the heads up! I haven't had issues with sheers and Orly Bonder before but I'll have to try those again with a different base and see! I have worn these shades in this video with Bonder though and they worked well 😅

Moonicorn, Velociraptor, and Dark Horse are my favorites. I actually have all of these except the purple creme. Thanks to your videos. I became a Mooncat addict as well. I had a couple from them, but when you started swatching, I was so hooked. They have the most beautiful and different combinations. It's like they said let's just throw it in, and who knows. Then it's amazing. Maybe the eeny meeny miny moe it. I don't know. But whatever they do it works.
Haha agreed, they definitely go with such unique combos! And now that we've seen some of their "rejects" in the misfits collection, I want to see more of what they made that didn't get approved to be in a set haha!
I don't have any Mooncat yet, but boy I remember that Dark Horse! Just gorgeous! I love your look in this video! That bad necklace is so cool! As far as your question---I would just love to see lots more duochromes like KB Shimmer does. The ones that go from black to red or pink to gold, etc. I see very few in over the counter brands, and I just love them! And GOOD GLITTERS, toppers or otherwise! Love a good glitter and we need more!
Ooh yeah. Honestly all the indie brands I've been using lately are spoiling me so much for drugsfode/mainstream brands. I'd really love to see those bigger brands do more unique finishes! But surprisingly I think OPI has been doing some funky ones so hopefully the other brands will follow haha!

I know collaboration polishes aren't up for the sale but I HAVE to mention A Very Merry Unbirthday - it's so good! I want to get Pomegranate Seeds but I'm trying to justify both A Very Merry Unbirthday and Pomegranate Seeds because they look so similar lol.
For finish rarity - I think purposefully textured polish like the dinosaur skin China Glazes are the rarest since most people don't go for them. Then I think actually magnetics, only because they seem more costly to make and I've never seen a mainstream brand do them.
I'm having the same struggle with pom seeds because I already have unbirthday. I've seen pics comparing them but I feel like it's still very hard to tell whether or not I need pom seeds.

Mooncat are just one of the very very unique polishes brand I've seen seen from all of the other brands shown. They are just insane with the shimmers and the glitters. I Am SPEECHLESS. The name "Mooncat" it's self is such a Halloweeny name. I think the best finish is the matte finish. ❤❤

Unique finish.... Flakies maybe. Because it can change the polish so much. Are they opaque, multichrome, metallic, holo, iridescent? What color of iridescent? (Think holo taco unicorn skins) What size are they? Are there a mix of types of flakes in there? Is it a flakie bomb? Can you make them opaque/full coverage in a couple coats? Are they just a sparse topper? And how different it looks matte vs glossy.
Mooncat - have you tried mermaid bait? I got what I believe is the same color (or close enough) from bluebird lacquer during polish pickup and I. AM. OBSESSED. It's so good. So shifty. Chrome like. Really looks different in all lighting.
Recently I bought a thermal jelly with rainbow glitters. The thermal switch was from a light brown (almost cream) finish when warm to a dark brown when cold. I think that’s the most special, rare and cool polish I own. 😍

The most rare type of finish is probably the texture like Olive to Roar from China Glaze & that one Cheese Puff orange from Sinful Colors. 😅

Thermals seem to be few and far between, so I'd say they are the rarest. That, and glow in the dark. Its sad because these two are my favourite kinds of specialty polish 😢
I love Mooncat. It's quickly becoming a favorite brand of mine. I actually just did a vertical half and half of black and white, with the white being Curiosity's Prey. It was gorgeous and so much fun. If you don't have Curiosity's Prey, I highly recommend it. It's such a versatile white flakey. I have Mad Hatter and Black Flame Candle as well as Rue Morgue (which is matte). Kelli, I really think you should get Raven (which is Rue Morgue's purple counterpart) if you don't have it already. It's such a perfect gothic color. I hope that I can spare some money to get Catfished and Moonicorn at some point.

@@KelliMarissa You should. Rue Morgue is stunning and I had a hard time deciding between buying Raven or Rue morgue, but blue was more my thing. It's such a unique color. It's a matte polish that is sort of blackened with this sapphire blue sparkle going through it. I want to say it's a dual chrome, but it isn't. Because it's matte, the black looks like stone, and the blue makes it look "lit from within", as you like to say. It reminds me of a geode. Raven would be a deep amethyst geode and Rue Morgue is sapphire. I've never seen another polish like it. I love it for Halloween, but, honestly, they both kind of remind me of a rainy city night. One by the river/lake, and one in a garden. No idea why. lol.
The most unique finish, in my view, is the finish of Chanel Sunrise Trip. It is truly a one-of-a-kind polish that features such an incredibly vivid, saturated colour and yet is so utterly translucent, it truly looks like you used ink to paint your nails! I miss it sorely and I wish somebody would come up with a way to replicate it and expand it to other colours too! Like imagine that, but a green teal uuuugh!!

As for most unique/rare, maybe full coverage flakey polishes? I think that's what makes polishes like Spaceoddity feel so special.
I'm gonna be difficult and interpret your question as "most eye-catching formula" lol, and I would say multichrome/duochrome shimmers with flakies. The most compliments and "how are your nails doing that?" comments I get from non-nailie folks tend to be when I'm wearing something like Cuticula's "Siren Song" or a BKL shimmer with a flakie topper.
As for Mooncats you need, if you dont already have Triceratops I think you'd love it!
I was so excited for Velociraptor, and I finally put it on last week! It is more beautiful than I could have imagined lol Plus a week later and only a little wear on tips of my nails. That says a lot for a polish with my job. :) Your pics are great. My top pics right now are Velociraptor, Flight of the Monarchs, the whole Expedition Atlantis collection (minus the sandy one that was sold out), Weeping Willow, Shroomdom, Curiosity's Prey, Apparition, and What a Brilliant Nose. Can't really pick a fav. finish, but I love magnetics.
