They haven’t got planning permission to start anything, only thing they can do is prep the ground ready for grounds work. They haven’t even said if it’s going to happen yet.
They've not even decided if they're going to use the site yet, it'll be ages until plans are drawn up
I think they will already have a rough plan drawn up but keeping it close to their chest.

Their construction timeline thingy has late 2025 pitched as the start of construction, so this isn't really bad news or anything. Also, the Transport Hub wouldn't need such a long construction timeline, so they can take their time with it.
I retracted my last reply. I think that transport hub field is a key site for access to the site however I forgot the railway line is an obstacle. That would need to be bridged first.

Ive heard that too but I think HP could work at both sites. One is a theme park that can house huge rides and one is a studio tour that can take a different approach to HP

The Americans, at the open information events, were doubtful that a decision could be made this year, and were talking about a lot of detailed planning needed to be done before any kind of construction could be initiated.
There hasn't been any decision (yet) about the government accepting planning applications directly, and taking the decisions away from local authorities. With an election being called that could take even longer now.
Universal did say June would be when they make a decision and their decision to build will come before any planning application is put in. Admittedly this election might mess with that timeline but based on what we knew a couple months ago June is the month to wait for.
It looks like there weed killing the feild, if you watch from 1 min 30 sec you can see the feild slightly smoking?! That could be a birds eye view of lots and lots of grass killer at work?! Im not sure i jus thort it was straing the grass was smoking!!!!
No I don't thinks it's weed killer. They are going to harvest the crop, I'm pretty sure.
I don’t think anyone expected any type of construction work to have started this summer. They haven’t even said if they’re gonna go ahead with the project and then once they have made up their mind if they said yes design work would have to be done and then it will have to go towards planning with the sound of things. The government is dealing not the local council..
I didn't expect anything this year but the crop sprayer makes it clear nothing is happening this side of winter.
I don't think universal will happen they'll probably end up going in Spain for the weather 😅

I think if universal do go full steam ahead. With their plans. We won’t see much more happening on site. Until epic universe opens
I don’t think building a park in the US will have any effect on one being built in the uk as it will be managed by different people.
