Hello I've a Mazda Demio Silver same as you. Being a designer I love the visual mods you bring to the car. Yet i would advise removing the 2 Hella things sticking on the front as they mess with the Mazda signature smiley face. And they don't look nice. Other than that, car looks wicked.
Purchased the AWR dogbone - even went with the 62 (softest) knowing I could switch out to a firmer one later as they are only $15. Car is much better to drive, but with the AC on just vibrates through the steering wheel and car to much for me. Going back to the factory dogbone. Car has 90000 miles on it so went ahead and purchased a new OEM one as the old one was showing some small tears starting.
You forgot to mention good summer tires. They help with accelerating, braking and handling. I don't know your tire setup but 205s are wide enough on the mazda2/ford fiesta.
That’s a pretty obvious one on any car. I didn’t feel something that simple applied here. Also, sticky tires can hide bad driving habits at the limit for inexperienced drivers. I always campaign for better brakes before tires.
Just curious about the engine mount for A/T model, in your separate video regarding the AWR mount, you mentioned it helps to reduce the rocking effect from manual shifting, I'm planning to get one for my A/T mazda 2 but not sure if it worths doing, any thought??

Hello! We just purchased a 2012 Mazda 2 Touring a couple weeks ago as a first car for our teenager. We are having the hardest time finding an armrest for the car. It appears any aftermarket armrest we find won’t fit properly (either bolt pattern doesn’t match under the console or it won’t fit into it). Yes, of course. The trick is to buy springs that aren’t so stiff that they destroy them, though. Or buy higher performance shocks. Or buy coilovers. Depends on your budget.

Hey I've got a really random question - how do you find the throttle response on the Mazda 2? some cars seem to have insanely sensitive gas pedals where any tickle of the pedal gives 2000+RPM, which makes the car hard to drive. (I see you have two of them - I'm looking at the manual 1.5 petrol sport and, failing that, the manual 1.3 petrol)
I never had a problem with it on road or track. Some people act like you have to send throttle inputs through the mail, but it’s not as awful as they say.
