Bummer to hear John Duda is gone. He was the last living link to the great trumpet builders of the past. I had him build me a Ultra 3 - 9 Large bore while he was in Tulsa. Great horn I'll never part with it...
Old man Rayburn tried to entice me with a Calicchio in 82 in the Boston store I had to regretfully decline playing it as it was just after playing the fbesson which was too much money at the time for me to justify as a HS player who was not going to be going to music school
