Big day-glow orange helmet on, well blues and two’s aren’t much use at that speed, the turning heads of spectator’s are about 2 seconds behind the bikes passing. Still feeling his loss, more so I think because he, I’m sure, knew that it was going to be bad when he kicked the bike away - well it’s rarely a good outcome if a tank-slapper forces you to wilfully try to save yourself by dumping the bike at 170mph. Thankfully most just don’t wake up. He did so much for so many who wouldn’t be here anymore. He’s much missed though. Thanks for the upload.
I have alot of respect for anybody who want to live there dreams and feel passion for something Dr Hinds was one such person he not only was a fantastic doctor and a family man the also loved his motorbikes so what better way to enjoy biking than provide medical cover at motorbike events. RIP John the motorcycle world miss you

With that being the case, and with the road races being run over courses of up to 9 miles per lap, the most practical solution was, and I believe remains, having an emergency doctor on a fast motorbike follow the field during practice and warm-up sessions and on the first and last laps of the race, the periods when a major crash is most likely...
Kr Hm Gosling He died in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin from multiple injuries after a crash into a wall during practice for the Skerries 100 races near Dublin on the 3rd July 2015, only a few weeks after this video was shot, while providing medical cover at the event...

It's absurdly dangerous with a higher death count per capita than a special forces team in a war theatre. That said, this race is the only archaic one left and the most respected race in the world regardless of wether you race horses or F1 cars. This race represents freedom.
