been to f1 before and it was shit, saw two overtakes in the whole race, got stuck sitting beside two arseholes ranting about lewis hamiltons wing, someone went into the kitty litter, teleporter was a 4wd jcb and the man driving it was good he loaded that car very fast and had a lovely coat oh yeah then more cars followed each other and some guy won, drove home thinking about the teleporter.
Hello sorry but didnt film the actual crash but just heard the massive impact as the bike hit.The man sat on the floor had a big cut on his head were the forks flew over our heads and hit him.Are you recovering ok ? What were your injuries?Hope to hear from you ,cheers
I was there that day horrific scenes but as everyone says they know the risks that why it's the greatest road race in the world and I'm proud to be apart of it
Yeah - hilarious. It’s the comment that needs the dislike - luckily I saw yours, and that’s all sorted - there’s live commentary on this for rider’s no longer riding. Have some respect, you clown.
Because it's run on public roads and would require new legislation to be passed to prevent any particular person being present outside the limits of the closure - i.e. behind the barriers.
In a sad way when they took the danger out of F1 the sport died for me.. in the 80s/90s and before the drivers were gladiators they were strapped into a fireball basically.. My all time hero Gillies Villeneuve was killed with many more, but, they were doing what they adored, life on the edge and it’s the same with the TT competitors.. F1 is a bore now with way to many strategies etc sadly.. IMO..
@@TheMrBitsy So you obviously don’t watch the TT then? One strategy there… “flat out everywhere you can ” You don’t hear TT riders complaining “ he cut me up!” sob sob.. Or, going around in rainbow coloured dresses.. Sir.
trying to find a full video of the crash as i was the one that got serious injuries in this incident. the impact being much of a blur. any help would be much appreciated. cheers
i travel on these roads every day and would love to see cars do it but one crash would be one too many, i cant imagine the mess if one of them goes off the road
been to both f1 and moto gp and f1 was boring as shit best part was seeing the cars pit and saw two overtakes TWO..moto gp they were chopping and changing all the time and nothing beats a bike powersliding at 150mph+ and the wheelies oh la la,the f1 cars are unreal to corner and the drivers have immense skill no doubt but not one thing made me jump out of my seat as for the bikes i had several mini heart attacks.
@@roadracett2853 Perishing from exposure and hypoxia whilst walking atop a mountain not only doesn’t qualify as a sport, it’s also nowhere near as horrifically terrifying as crashing a superbike @ 320km/h on narrow roads surrounded by stone walls, cobblestones and cottages.
And that bike would be full of fuel , lucky there wasn't a fireball like in Guy martins crash ,.this crash could have been a major disaster for the spectators the rider and the TT races in general,.
2.12 the crwd is waiting for a terrible accident, looks like modern gladiators, people looking at this have never knie down, they are waiting for riders in big trouble
just because F1 is has safety rules doesnt mean they arent brave racing drivers, spoilt or boring, actually its better because if there were no safety they'd all be dead, nothing big about being brave, having said that it takes a real man, some say a madman to race the TT course. and shows moto gp up for what it is, now they are the real spoilt rotten brats compoared to TT a dream for spectators, when stood in the right place. Cant think of any other sporing events you dont have to pay for.
Lmao someone is getting upset. but yeah im very sure if you put a F1 car on that circuit at those high of speed they do im sure it would become just about as dangerous or close to it. What um the bikes pull hit about 2 Gs. Yeah a F1 pushed about 4 Gs. So dont even go there silly man. yes they are on bikes and it more easy to fly off and die but if a car hits a wall flat out as well, on a small error circuit then his chances of death are high as well but maybe not as high as on a bike.
Maybe its time the TT was abandoned before spectators begin dying at a faster rate than the riders. Speeds are too fast and crowds are too close. Lucky this time but maybe not in the future. Time to move on to conventional tracks.
youre talking shit riders at TT of course they have balls of steal but not a fare compairson, compare moto gp to F1, and F1 totally abliterates it out of the water for entertainment...... bikes going round a track has to be the single most boring thing in sport, but noting can touch TT for pure racing.
It’s a unique sporting spectacle and a welcoming environment. Road racing tends to be a family affair and visitors enjoy largely unrestricted access to riders and teams in the paddock and around the course. Every year efforts are made to minimise risks for riders and spectators but it’s a road race and accepted as such. I’d take my kids to see TT or MGP (or any road race for that matter!) and they would be safe and welcome.

People need to realize that the IOM TT is basically loosely controlled chaos. But I hope it's around forever.

F1 is a bore because few drivers die? What a cold hearted view! I watch it for the skill on the road and in the strategies.

Mad4tarmac says it all!
the tt brings people together, yeah its dangerous but these people know that, noone makes them go to watch it or ride it but they choose to.

The IOM TT is, unequivocally, the most dangerous motorsport in the world. INDYCAR is more dangerous than F1 also.
Didn't a marshall get killed last week and a camera man got hit by a wheel?
Looks like an awesome place to be, the closest i've come to that is Phillip Island on a GP weekend.
WSBK is also phenomenal at Phillip Island.
same here.
The crowd should be in appropriated places...what youre expecting????
im gonna pretend i didnt see this comment!
If you are telling the truth. Yhy have you not contacted the event organizers they would be able to guide you in the right direction....

well it would have to be host like the bikes. one at a time ,10 sec between. cars are much larger to be on a small road like that.
getting hit by a tt bike, thats a story you'll tell your grand children ;)
