How to make Mustache Wax and Beard Wax - Green Grooming Vlog #4

Green Beard Grooming will be launching it's Kickstarter campaign in early March, 2020. Please help us get our eco-beard company off the ground.
In this tutorial we will cover two different mustache and beard wax recipes. One wax for a firm hold and one with a bit looser hold. If you buy mustache wax or beard wax you are probably buying waxes made with these basic ingredients. Beard wax is really expensive to buy but very very cheap to make yourself. All you need to do is combine the ingredients.

I did the same thing on my first pour of candles and of mustache wax. On candles I semi-ruined boots but spent 100 dollars and hours repairing them. On mustache wax I stomached the pain to not ruin my boots at the detriment of my fingers.

I just tried to melt 50 grs of bee's wax in a double boiler. After 45 mins it did not melted. Input welcome

I’ve always melted it over direct heat.

I know it's a little late but that's normal. Given the properties of wax and the way a double boiler works it's takes a while for it to melt.
