I think everyone is looking at Lonnie like the Celtics reached out to him; is it possible that Lonnie decided he'd rather enroll in Celtics University and build his skills after seeing what has happened for Kornet, Hauser, and Derrick White? He's looked at the CBA and, rather than trying to hunt for vet minimum for his current skill set, said "If I make myself better, I can get a better deal." And maybe that better deal is with the returning champions in Boston... just next year.
Lonnie is bigger than PP and more athletic than HOUSEMONEY... the issue is both PP and HOUSEMONEY are going to be targeted during offs, consequently, Walker does not have those weaknesses... That is the LOGIC to have him..
I have a hard time believing that Brad brought Walker here without a plan if he was going to play well.....logically Id agree with him not making the team but the Cs fan in me wants him.

Pay 11 million for Walker? Seems completely worth for the insurance he brings. He's been one of our best bench players easily.

Lonnie walker is way better player, and alot more ready to help us win this year than Jordan walsh & Jaden Sprimger combined IMO

Springer has not looked good, he carrys a $4mil cap hit. does it make sense to move on now, especially if your not going to resign/extend.
