After watching some pre season the Hornets are an 8th seed. I like the Cavs but Allen and Mobley ain’t cutting it. Bulls are interesting because I see a trade from them. Magic might be a 3 seed. Bucks are gonna flop hard
I actually think Dame will be good this year. I relate it to Kyrie in Dallas. That first half season after the trade did not go well for the team. But Kyrie learned that Luka is the top dog but that there will be times that he will need to be Kyrie and take over. He also realized that for his twam to be best he needed to yield slightly and focus more on team leadership in a different way.
Solid point, and great example of the same thing happening in Dallas with Kyrie. Dame has talked a lot about how hard that transition was for him, it seems really likely they'll be better this year as a result of the continuity.
Post all-star break, my Magic were 15th in 3pt shooting. So they improved dramatically as the season went on. They should be better this season, health permitting. Jett is about to make a jump. .
28:50 Is there a better on the ball defensive backcourt??????? Legs’ partner says: “Nope!” Has anyone heard of Holiday&White? They kinda won gold in this last summer’s Olympics.
I just like McBride , he tough and can shoot. Shameet with cam, precious, and the rookies Tyler and our center. The team is just right for what Brunson does
With some key players going East doesn't the Western Conference seem weaker all of a sudden? And more balanced as well? Seems like there's several teams that can reach the finals.
I think Towns will be more than fine in New York. If Towns has a bad game, he's got Brunson and Bridges who can more than pick up the slack for him. All Towns had in Minnesota was Edwards who didn't have the ball in his hands. And Towns had the pressure of always been The Man in Minnesota since he got there. Now Towns is just another guy in an extremely talented lineup. If Towns has an off game, the others are expected to pick up for him. And Brunson is The Man in New York. Also, the situation on the court is so much better for Towns with the Knicks. He has another huge element in his game to be successful, the pick and roll with Brunson. Towns doesn't have to be having a great shooting night and still have that all work. More options in New York. If Towns gets double teamed down low, he has multiple guys he is expected to kick it out to - and let them finish they play. And if he doesn't get double teamed because there is too much firepower, Towns is deadly down low when not double teamed. I would be shocked if Towns doesn't come out and have the best year in his career, by far. It's all set up for him in the perfect situation for him.
I hope everyone keeps doubting and disrespecting the Bucks. They're gonna make everyone look extremely stupid this year when they're kicking everyone's butt in the NBA. Gary Trent Jr, Delon, Prince, and multiple of the young guys are capable of guardung the best guys in pick and roll. We were fine last year with our starters with worse players. The bench was the main problem. This year we'll be better. Doubt us and pay the price
If their big 3 don’t take another leap then it’s possible. The west is too good to guarantee anyone going to the finals. It’s so matchup dependant but it’ll make fun hoops!
I'm not sure it's choking when it's their first year being good. If they do it again, that's different. But chet was a rookie and jdub was a 2nd year player
@@rayndeighit’s choking whether you’re a vet or not when you’re the 1st seed in the west. That’s why they got hartenstein or else they would’ve ran it back
Choking is when you were the heavy favorites to win and don't capitalize. I realize they were the number one seed, but they ran into a buzzsaw of a Mavericks team playing as good as anyone in the league down the stretch of the regular season/playoffs. Not to mention OKC tested the Mavs more than anyone in the west
Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum are NOT superstars. Brown was justifiably left off the Olympic Team and Tatum was justifiably passed over for playing time by better players. For years, Brown was not a game changer in the post season and for years Tatum would come up small in big situations in the playoffs mainly because he wasn't good enough to come up big in those situations. Last year's playoffs were an outlier. Their four biggest contenders - Miami, Philadelphia, Milwaukee and the Knicks in the east were all decimated by injuries in the post season. And, the top teams in the west Denver, Minnesota, and Oklahoma City didn't make it to the finals. Boston had a cakewalk into the title not facing any of the top seven teams in the league and playing a depleted Miami without Butler and then Cleveland, Indiana and Dallas - all teams who were, at best, second round, talentwise. Tatum had no opportunity to choke in a big situation because there were no big situations. And Brown's severe limitations did not get exposed by a top team because they didn't play any. Boston, to me, is, at best, the fourth best team in the East. And, unlike what the pundits think, the Celtics have no superstars on their team while the three other top teams in the East all have at least two.
@@lateefsupremewhat does that have to do with brunson arguably being barely better than maxey as much as knicks fans hate to admit it and he’s the lead scorer for the Knicks. Plus they filled the stands because it’s cheaper to them than it is in Philly and I don’t even live in Philly to know that.
