hey, sis! Today's question is: Which of the 6 spiritual disciplines comes easy to you and which is one you want to grow in this year?! For me: the spiritual discipline that comes easy for me is Bible study/ bible reading. I kindaaa like studying in general so studying the Word is pretty fun for me and the spiritual discipline I want to grow in this year is service!! I used to be much more intentional in this area and I look forward to seeing what God is able to do through me as I strengthen this muscle!
The spiritual discipline that comes easy to me is Service. God just has a way to making my heart soft when it comes to helping the people around me, and serving in my local assembly. The spiritual discipline I want to grow into this year is Bible study/ meditation and fasting. The Lord is out combined strength in Jesus name❤
Hi Melody! I would love for you to talk about how to discern whether a church is spiritually and biblically sound! I think it’s awesome advice to join a church but I think with how there are so many denominations and practices, it gets tricky!! I am really blessed to have a doctrine sound home church and college church but I don’t know if that’s the same for others. Great video as always and have a blessed day❤️
Greatest man in history, named Jesus, had no servants, they called him Master. Had no degree, yet called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him... He was buried in a tomb, yet He LIVES!💖💖🙏🙏🙌🙌
Bible Reading/Studying is definitely an area that I need the most growth in. I will start out good but I fall off. This year it is my focus to grow in this area.
Hey girl! Just wanted to tell you how great the Bible app is! If you click on the PLAN button you can put in any topic you are dealing with & it will bring up certain plans with daily devotions & prayers! Hope this helps!
bible study & serving others come easily & naturally for me, but since i’ve only been a true christan for about 7 months, i have some anxiety with public worship & feel like i don’t measure up & im not so open & bubbly like the people i meet in church; so i don’t have the same fire to physically go to church & find the right one… 2023 might just be my year to get into the house of worship GOD is calling me into❤
I understand your view, worshipping in church for the first time is always the hardest but sometimes just closing your eyes really tight and imagine you are in a space by yourself just you and God helps and realizing that no one really pays attention to you, hope this helps a little
I pray that the Lord leads you to the right church and allows you to open up to Him regardless of who is around and that you feel comfortable because your focus remains on Him. ❤ Public worship is difficult for me also but God is good. He’s going to take our discomfort and turn it to where we are going to worship Him wholeheartedly regardless of others. God bless you.
I pray God leads you to the right church and community for you. Ask Him and He will definitely do it. If you are in the NYC area, I recommend Bethlehem Assembly of God in Valley Stream. You can check them out on TH-cam.
Right now, it’s easier for me to pray and meditate. It feels simple and easy and doesn’t require that many steps. I want to grow my habit of worshipping publicly and serving my local community.
I'm a newly baptised Christian. I got baptised in October 2022 but I am still struggling with my prayer life or even reading my Bible. I know in my heart that I want and NEED to do these things but I always lose motivation to do so and I don't know why. I'm going to start the new year off with making more time for God and Jesus in my life!! Thank you as always for another video :)
@kgeorg I learned recently that there are ways people feel more connected to God/ His Presence! I used to be so hard on myself and felt like my devotional/spiritual disciplines were lacking, but a pastor/ mentor of mine recently explained to me that for me, it is going to look different that someone else! For example, I feel more connected to God through Prayer, Intercession, and deep study, and so to me, unless it like sermon-prep style of study for reading my Bible, I feel like I don’t get anything out of just reading, and I felt awful about it. But now I know, I just have to change it up, and understand that while I do need to practice all spiritual disciplines, I connect best with God through those specific ways 😊
Welcome to the family of God! I think if you join with another Christian believer that will help to motivate one another in prayer, reading and studying.
Just keep doing it even if you don't feel the motivation. You will not always feel excited or motivated. But keep the routine going and it will become a habit that the Lord will bless. And you will start to grow in your faith with the Lord. If you want someone to help you or encourage you. You can message me and we can find a way to chat. For iron sharpen iron. Blessings.
I want to be more intentional with PRAYER: DEEP PRAYER. Praying for OTHERS MORE than myself with THANKSGIVING & reverence for God. I want to serve the Lord more publicly & give up my pride & tell people about Jesus
My theme for 2023 is growth..Emotionally/mentally, physically, financially and most importantly spiritually. So this video came at the perfect time. I definitely want to get better with fasting and praying consistently.
I’ve always found prayer to come easier. I treat it truly like a conversation and have just grown within that idea over the years. I find most difficult the fasting! But I do love what God brings to your attention through those periods of sacrifice.
10:10 The bible says Isaac also meditated in the evenings (Genesis 24:63) I found this so interesting when I read it...would love to make it a habit myself ♡
Beautiful come to think about it Psalms 127:2 during the day there’s always something to do ,while you busy in beautiful thoughts with your Heavenly Father someone/something needs you to attend to it or distraction. Yet in the evening it get’s more quiet you get to think about the word and hear from the most High and meditation attracts God’s presence
@@yandiswamakeke3357 Right? ...its kind of like how in the Garden, God would come to them in the breezy times to chill with them. Idk in my experience that's like later in the afternoon when the air cools down and everything kinda slows down? If not, I like the thought anyhow. ♡ (Hoping your daily practise is going better than mine rn lol)
@@JMarie-th8xe Oh absolutely! Biblical meditation is not at all about opening our minds up and making us susceptible to being infiltrated by harmful spirits.. but is beautiful in that we renew our minds (through scripture + prayer) to become more like the mind of Christ, right? That's my understanding..
I do fasting a lot because of how powerful it is. I struggle with reading the word. I even still need to get a bible for this year ❤️🙏🏾 but I’m fixing it and ‘Verse of The Day’ helps a lot ❤️🙏🏾
Praying comes easily for me. I want to improve on meditation 😅 my mind is constantly going. fasting and Bible study. I read the Bible but I don't study it
Fasting and prayer comes easy for me. Have to improve on Bible reading and service, been juggling with being a new mom. God has already confirmed this for me as a stranger bought me a Bible journal last week. May God keep on strengthening me in these sectors 🙏🏼.
Hey Sis. I would say what's easy for me is prayer. At first it was difficult because there'd be times where I wouldn't know what to say to the Lord or if my prayers were enough, should they be longer etc. I had all these doubts but now it's easy to sit down and pray to Him and talk about my day and pray about my life etc. I would say the thing that's hard is Bible reading/studying. I'm a big fan of devotionals so when they quote the scripture that's the only thing I'm reading and interpreting from how they interpreted it. I want to be able to open my Bible and really get into studying what God is trying to say to me here. This is definitely something to work on for 2023!🙏🏾
Hey Sis…this was truly right on time for me! 💛💛💛 Fasting consistently and meditation have been most challenging for me…so this is my sign to be more intentional 😊 Also, there are 2 scriptures that come to mind re: meditation…you are soo on point regarding the many benefits of not just meditating in general, but more importantly meditating on God and His word. Psalms 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” God bless you and your family & thank you!
Acts of service definitely comes the easiest for me out of this list. But these past few months I have been focusing on getting better at praying and connecting with God each day, and I am going to start reading/studying the Bible; which I am genuinely excited about. I feel like I am being pulled towards fasting as well, but I still need to pray on it and make sure that I stay open/attentive to what God wants me to do in that area.
I feel like the one that comes the easiest is praying. After joining my church and getting full understanding of what it means to pray, praying is not something that I would personally consider as difficult. I use to feel like prayer had to sound a certain way and that I had to always be on my knees and at a certain place to pray, but no that’s not really how it is. That’s why I love how you mentioned that praying is literally like a conversation with God because it really is. I feel like understanding and really grasping that aspect of prayer is what made it a little easier for me. Also referring back to how prayers don’t have to be that long …lol. Note that when you say “God I thank you for today” or “God I thank you for this food” , that’s consider a prayer. Now I’m not saying that long prayers aren’t good because there are some moments where you might pray a long prayer, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be all the time❤ Just talk to your father ❤and don’t over think it. He’s waiting to here from you❤️
2023 I pray my prayer life will grow more and studying the Bible more. I'm a servant at heart but could always advance more. Great video! My first time watching...
Just wanted to add that Joshua 1:8 speaks about meditating on God's word " “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
Spiritual disciplines that come easiest to me (or I’m in the habit of doing) are prayer, reading the Word, and meditation (lots of great Christian guided meditations here on TH-cam!). Spiritual disciplines I’ve been trying to be better at is serving (thankfully my church has lots of opportunities!), attending church and our young adults meetings WEEKLY, studying the Word (going deeper in my understanding), and fasting! Mostly working on fasting. I can easily give up social media or TV, but water fasts can be difficult but very worth it 🙏🏽
Oh my goodness, pow! Another confirmation! We were just talking about this with other sisters in Christ! It's easy to study and read lately not so much with fasting. The personal to pow wow sessions is so on point with holy spirit! Feel better & be well soon Melody! ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤️ #holyhabits #hardtofast #butGod #breakthroughs #willcome
You look lovely sis!! Always love me a Monday & Thursday! So, the spiritual discipline I really want to hone in on is prayer. I feel like I’m so busy being a mum, doing TH-cam, trying to get back into work now too and prayer is so easily missed, but I CANNOT AFFORD not to pray!!
Thank you girlie! I can totally relate to the mom life hustle & hustle 🥲 it’s going to be exciting to see how God meets you as you strengthen this discipline!!
Pray as u do chores, bathing etc. Driving.. That's how I do it. For me i speak in tongues more than in understanding. Even in mall when I am shopping. Bt without a voice or if u r in mall you dnt want people to see your lips mov jus meditate. When u r watching a program lik dis... Pray.. It becomes a habit. And after a habit it becomes a force then a system.
@@g.kelebogile9625 love this!! I remember I used to put my headphones on and speak in tongue and random people (I’m assuming) would think I’m on a call! LOL. But no, thank you for the tips. Sometimes it’s those moments where I’m like, “ooh a moment of silence is well appreciated, but actually nothing beats a conversation with our Heavenly Father”!
@@krupaabrokwaa hahaha I never thought of the phone.... IL definatly try it. And the devil got what he deserved during Corona with masks on..... I use to pray a lot in open spaces lik malls, shops,banks..May the Lord continue to quicken us with His Spirit to pray the more. Midnights are the best for prayers. Praying like this anywhere anytime it quicken spirit. U will realize you have prayed for more hours. We thank God for the power of prayer
Bible study/mediating on God’s word and prayer (personal time with God) comes the easiest to me. For me I believe I need more public worship, serving and Fasting in the year or 2023.
I’ve been struggling to fast. I did amazing my first week and Then now I keep “starting over” 😭 it was supposed to be for 21 days. God keeps telling me I got it in me but this gluttony ! 🤧
God has been speaking to me based on my Dedication, Discipline, And Devotion for him & This was Definitely the Confirmation. God wants more from us, and This Year His Promises will come to Be. Thank you Sister, All Glory be to God our Father❤️.
Thank you for this video! My challenge was fasting and meditation. I would pray and study the Bible, but many times not meditate on His Word, which led me to wonder why I felt lost in areas of my life. However, I’m excited to grow in these areas this year.
The discipline I need to work in the most is attending church. I have allowed my social anxiety to keep me from church for waaay to long. I instead of thinking about how I need to do better I have started actively trying to work on my anxieties. I believe serving comes easiest to me. I genuinely enjoy doing for others and want to help others when I can. I've actually had to work on cutting back and not spreading myself too thin and ending up neglecting my service at home.
Serving others comes naturally for me but recently (with your videos and others) I have seen God wants me to fast. I have never fasted and I am praying for God's guidance on what from and how long. Thank you for your encouragement!
Prayer- praying alone and using the word of God Meditation- meditating about the word of God and about God Service- helping at church and helping people who a in need.
Prayer, attending service , and fasting, studying the Bible come either easily or just something I implament in my life regularly. Being of willing Service is one I'm working to do. And meditating on God Breathe is soemyhig I never thought of. I meditate but not on verses. So I'm glad you mentioned it that way and will be bringing that into 2023! Love The Spirit at work in you and your videos. You are very inspirational to me and thank you for allowing God to work through you to us all😊
Meditating on the Word comes easy to me. Fasting is definitely what I need to work on the most because I always yarn to fast but only seems to go 1-2 days or I completely forget…meaning I wasn’t intentional
I’m here trying to grow in every way possible to get closer to the lord, I have practiced many of the things you said and that makes me so happy but I still have a ways to go. My next goal is to fast as I have never done that before ❤
I hope your voice get better soon. I am working on all 6 but this year I really, really, want to work on Fasting and Prayer. I am on Chronic Medication which makes Fasting difficult but my Pastor guided me with a Partial Fast that is from 6am to 3pm water only. My hope and prayer is that our Heavenly Father is healing me completely, I just need to believe and make the necessary health changes as well. The other desire is to “unlock” my heavenly prayer language, I so desire to speak in tongues…this might be a controversial/ sensitive topic, anyone reading this please be kind…I consider myself still a young believer and working towards my Kingdom Citizenship❤ ❤GOD bless you my sister in Christ❤
the spiritual discipline that comes easy for me is prayer and bible studying/reading i like to write out my prayers, the ones where i want to frfr talk to God about stuff and look back at them and read it all over again when it comes to bible study, i just get so amazed at all that i’ve never known about God etc. The spiritual discipline that I want to grow in this year is fasting, service and public worship. i haven’t gone to a church on my own since the pandemic and now that churches are open i either don’t go or watch the live stream, mainly bc i don’t have others who are my age and understand me. i have been delaying this fasting process but i want to fast (especially since i have a pageant competition coming up and i want to represent myself and my state well)
Service and church attendance come easily to me. Getting myself to open the Bible can be challenging but once I've started it's awesome. Prayer is one that I have to improve on. I never know if I am praying well and long-enough and that overthinking throws me off.
I am 14 years old turning 15 and I want to have a closer relationship with God but at times I have doubts whether he lives or is he hearing me when I come before him , so I just came to seek advice on how to revive my faith and believe that the Lord lives
I personal need to work on Fasting i will start the first week/days well but as the weeks goo i tend to branch out or eat certain food i am not suppose to eat through Fasting but my God will do good in my spritual journey at the area. All is well❤❤🎉
Prayer comes so easily to me. It's like every thought I have I want to consult God on. I will admit all the others are things I struggle with, but in 2023 I truly pray God leads me to incorporate these disciplines in my life. I am a woman after God's heart.
Thank you for your evangelism here on your channel. I really enjoy your content. I realized that your sometimes you may be directing certain things toward a female audience, but I still enjoy it and learn from it. I really enjoy following along with your bible study in the book of Esther right now, as well as videos like this that gives Godly advice on how to draw closer to God and become more like Jesus. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this. It motivates me to be a better Christian than I was yesterday. Progression over Perfection!
Bible Study comes easily for me because I have a similar framework that I use to study and apply the Word. I desperately want to grow in the discipline of prayer.
Honestly All. I’m 19 years old and I want to give him every area of my life. I grew up in a Christian household where it was shown at home to. My grandfather passed in may of 2022 and if I’m being honest part of the reason is I want to make both of my grandparents proud ❤
None of the disciplines comes easy for me. I have struggled all my life with my relationship with God and my spiritual life. I desperately want that to change. I want to grow in ALL the spiritual disciplines this year.
The spiritual disciplines that come easiest for me are Prayer, bible reading/studying, and meditation. I have just started getting into fasting. I'm currently participating in a corporate 21 day fast for the new year where we can fast between 5a and 5p and eat after 5p, liquids only fasting, or the Daniel's fast. I need to grow in the areas of serving others and public worship. I serve others in small ways already, but I would like to do more. Right now I follow an online ministry. It is the ministry I got saved under as well. I do hope to find a physical church to attend one day. What's important to me is making sure I find the right church; one that is teaching sound doctrine. I believe you cant just go to any church especially these days. You have to have discernment.
I find it easy to pray and need to be intentional with fasting. Have to grow mature with His word too. Thank you for sharing these, very practical and helpful. May you bless others more.
Easy: Prayer, Fasting, Bible reading, meditation What needs some work: Service, public worship, Bible study (I’m doing good with Bible study but my flesh be fighting) So basically doing things with people is hard because I like being alone but I’m working on it.
Spiritual discipline comes easier to me when I am listening/singing praises as well as meditating and listening to my ear ringing (as that is how I have asked God to communicate with me). When my ear starts to ring, I hear bible verses I need to read and then I take note of it and act it out through the day. Praying is starting to come a bit easier now that I know there's not a direct format, I need to talk to him.
Bible reading/ studying comes easy for me. I love to study and read and every time I read the word I feel refreshed and filled. But fasting is a little difficult for me because the fear of not having/doing that earthly thing(s) makes me anxious and the thought of making it last for a long period of time makes me feel hopeless
The spiritual discipline that comes easy for me is public worship. I almost never miss church unless its really beyond my control. And the discipline i want to grow this year is serving and word study. I have always been just a sunday church goer but never got involved in any ministry so i started working on this late last year and am seeing some improvement in me by God's grace.
Hi Melody and thanks for the inspiration. I totally agree with you particularly on public worship. Public worship is actually a law and commandment we are required to observe. The Bible in Leviticus 23:3 (KJV) records; Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, AN HOLY CONVOCATION; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. My understanding of HOLY CONVOCATION is that God requires us as believers to assemble and worship him. This statute will stand forever even in the life to come.
I can feel the Holy Spirit so much now in my life and the Good Lord is everywhere I think twice before any action or even speaking at times I noticed him once I hit my 30s ik he was there I guess now I just pay attention and actually listen I love him so much and I'm craving his embrace.
For me I would like to start meditating. I do attend church but need to go regularly as I did pre-Covid. I do attend a bible study every Monday and prayer group on Saturday mornings. These are great disciplines to incorporate in my life. Thanks
A spiritual discipline that comes easy to me is praying. I always make sure to take time out of my day to communicate to God. A spiritual discipline I want to grow on this year is service. I would love to do more for my community and my people. I want to be a giver with a cheerful heart.
For me the spiritual discipline that comes easy is praying yet I do feel like I politicize my prayers so just relaxing and thinking I’m talking to my wise homeboy I will definitely implement and changing how I meditate. And it’s crazy evacuee I just went to the grocery store and I said I wanted to do the fasting and heard God say go to bible study so imma go. I definitely want to practice getting into service more this year. My closest friend said sometimes we be so focused on getting blessed by God when hpHe wants us to be a blessing
I am so glad to have come across your channel. (I know it was God) It came about as I was going to start my "Daniel Fast". This video is just perfect leading us into a new year. During my fast I was reading "The Book of Daniel" then I listened to it by audio book and lastly literally just now finished watching the movie of it! This has become my most favorite and engaging way to study the Bible! My meditation time or prayer will be when or how I feel God will lead me to the next book of the Bible He feels I need to connect and be lead by. I look forward to His answer and I look forward to your next video. Many Blessings to you and your family!
Growth is actually important in all, honestly. Prayer and service comes easily for me by God's help and discipline, while the spiritual discipline I need more growth is in is my bible studying. P.S. Thank you for the video, Melody 😊
Hi dear, My most challenging discipline is praying mainly because I sometimes run out of things to say....but I am hoping grow in this area by using God's promises in my prayer. For me fasting is easy as everything begins in the mind....I have aways been a determined person but I find when you I understand the why behind the fast and do so expectantly it makes it more bearable.
Great video! I love how practical you make things and that’s encouraging. Praying, serving others and public worship come easiest to me. Meditation, Bible study/reading has been difficult this last year. The distractions get me everytime! I know I have to do much better with these two. Fasting kind of comes naturally, in that I don’t really have a hard time when I fast. But sometimes it takes me a minute to realize it’s what I need to do. I also felt like I struggled to hear God during some fasts, which made me look at what was getting in the way. Earlier 2022 I was fasting regularly and I am getting back to that this year.
Service and going to church come easily to me. I struggle with prayer (at times it feels awkward and I don't necessarily know the "right" words to say, reading the Bible (I feel I don't retain it or I understand a verse/chapter different than someone else) and lastly fasting as I always understood it from the food standpoint which scared me. I'm glad to know you can fast from other things in your life. Thank you!
Hello 👋🏽 thank you for your videos. I stumble upon your Daniel fast 21 days, while I was doing the fast. I honestly didn’t know much about it but it was in my heart to just do it. Now watching this video is confirmation of everything that needs to be done. Thank you again !
Prayer and Bible reading/bible studying are easier for me than the others. I need to work on public worship and fasting. I just moved to a university out-of-state, so I plan to find a bible study group that fits with my schedule.

He is meditating on the word of God. Not like meditation found in yoga.
I read the Bible but I don't study it
theres nothing like drawing close to god spirituality, especially as a loving couple,he'll bless yr relationship, pray as a family❤
This is definitely something to work on for 2023!🙏🏾
I had already decided that 2023 was going to be a year of powerful, purposeful prayer as a priority.
I struggle w fasting... And at church I feel so disconnected... But I definitely pray and read and study at home
Hey Sis…this was truly right on time for me! 💛💛💛
Fasting consistently and meditation have been most challenging for me…so this is my sign to be more intentional 😊
Also, there are 2 scriptures that come to mind re: meditation…you are soo on point regarding the many benefits of not just meditating in general, but more importantly meditating on God and His word.
Psalms 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
God bless you and your family & thank you!
My plan is to grow in each area? Thanks!
Good teaching, teacher
The same message from Joshua 1😊
I really like this teaching, and it was really helpful for me too
Going to church and acts of service comes very easy for me I attend church every Sunday and I love to give, share, help etc.
For me bible study and praying comes easier, I really want to put more effort in the other features... thank you melody for this❤️
The spiritual discipline that comes easily is Bible Study. I love to learn! The spiritual discipline that I need to grow in is fasting.
Now I’m not saying that long prayers aren’t good because there are some moments where you might pray a long prayer, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be all the time❤
Just talk to your father ❤and don’t over think it. He’s waiting to here from you❤️
Gurl I need some fasting from everything I’m addicted to. Jesus breaking some chains this year 🙌
2023 I pray my prayer life will grow more and studying the Bible more.
I can easily give up social media or TV, but water fasts can be difficult but very worth it 🙏🏽
I'm impressed and inspired 👏🏿. I battle with guilt that make me not read the bible, pray and binge on social media. .🙌🏿I'll try and step up ‼️
For me the easiest is prayer and the one I want to work on is meditating and studying the Bible
I’m in a season of
Surrender
Prayer
Unlearning to relearn
And praying so much more
Oh my goodness, pow! Another confirmation! We were just talking about this with other sisters in Christ! It's easy to study and read lately not so much with fasting. The personal to pow wow sessions is so on point with holy spirit! Feel better & be well soon Melody! ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤️
#holyhabits #hardtofast #butGod #breakthroughs #willcome
hey, prayer is one that’s easy for me. Bible studying is one that I would like to grow more in.
bible reading/studying, service, and mediating are areas I want to be more consistent with.
@@MelodyAlisa haha I know you get the mum hustle with Baby ZoZo being such a busy body. Amen- I’m also looking forward to receiving His strength!
This year I'll be working on fasting and meditating. They are things I've never practiced but excited to add them to my walk with my good King 💚
THIS CRAZYYYY THE FACT THIS SHOWED WHEN I LITERALLY JUST ASKED GOD HOW I CAN GROW CLOSER TO HIM-
Easy: prayer, reading bible, service
Hope: fasting, worship public, meditation,
1. Prayer
2. Service
3. Public Worship
4. Meditation
5. Fasting
6. Bible reading/ Bible studying
I feel like God is litterally speaking to me through you❤
Thank you for this video! My challenge was fasting and meditation. I would pray and study the Bible, but many times not meditate on His Word, which led me to wonder why I felt lost in areas of my life. However, I’m excited to grow in these areas this year.
Mm. Same. That makes sense
Serving comes natural for me, I love to serve however some people like to take advantage of you when they know this about you
Serving others comes naturally for me but recently (with your videos and others) I have seen God wants me to fast. I have never fasted and I am praying for God's guidance on what from and how long. Thank you for your encouragement!
Prayer- praying alone and using the word of God
Meditation- meditating about the word of God and about God
Service- helping at church and helping people who a in need.
Currently fasting bible study and prayer
I want to grow in all of the qualities ❤
Prayer, attending service , and fasting, studying the Bible come either easily or just something I implament in my life regularly.
Being of willing Service is one I'm working to do.
And meditating on God Breathe is soemyhig I never thought of. I meditate but not on verses. So I'm glad you mentioned it that way and will be bringing that into 2023!
Love The Spirit at work in you and your videos. You are very inspirational to me and thank you for allowing God to work through you to us all😊
Praying I think comes easy for me, but my focus is definitely on reading my Bible and meditating on God’s word as well as fasting.
The other desire is to “unlock” my heavenly prayer language, I so desire to speak in tongues…this might be a controversial/ sensitive topic, anyone reading this please be kind…I consider myself still a young believer and working towards my Kingdom Citizenship❤
❤GOD bless you my sister in Christ❤
the spiritual discipline that comes easy for me is prayer and bible studying/reading
i like to write out my prayers, the ones where i want to frfr talk to God about stuff and look back at them and read it all over again
when it comes to bible study, i just get so amazed at all that i’ve never known about God etc.
Prayer is my most definite spiritual discipline that I use alot
I definitely feel like the Lord is calling me to serve at the moment, but meditation and public worship needs more work! ❤️
Praying comes easy to me everything else im struggling with especially meditation.
I enjoy meditating, although I can be more intentional about it. An area I really want to strengthen this year is bible study and worship ❤
Prayer
Service
I hope to grow into all 6 more this year
Easy: Prayer, Fasting, Bible reading, meditation
What needs some work: Service, public worship, Bible study (I’m doing good with Bible study but my flesh be fighting)
So basically doing things with people is hard because I like being alone but I’m working on it.
Public worship, service and prayers comes easy for me,I want to work on my meditation and bible study this year,so help me Lord🙏
I entered Chapter 30 yesterday and told myself I need to finally found a therapist! I’ve been procrastinating and then bam you brought it up!
I do Acts of service on a daily basis. I love helping and motivating people to live in their Purpose.
The spiritual discipline that comes easy for me is public worship. I almost never miss church unless its really beyond my control. And the discipline i want to grow this year is serving and word study. I have always been just a sunday church goer but never got involved in any ministry so i started working on this late last year and am seeing some improvement in me by God's grace.
prayer, reading my bible, and service come easy to me.
Right now prayer come easy to me.
This year I want to work on Bible study and fasting
I've been in a slump and your video was inspiring
This was great! I need to read watch this one again! I play to increase my prayer and devotion to God!
Growth is actually important in all, honestly.
Prayer and service comes easily for me by God's help and discipline, while the spiritual discipline I need more growth is in is my bible studying.
P.S. Thank you for the video, Melody 😊
Journaling/bible study comes easy for me and public worship is a harder one for me I don’t attend church as much as I used to
Can I double thumbs up for the dedication?! I GEDDIT. I GET THE GRIND whilst baby naps. Gone are the days of recording with baby in the room. 😂
😂😂 loooong gone! Miss Zoë Girl is the BUSY!
@@MelodyAlisa I knowwwwww exactly what that looks and feels like!
Hi dear,
My most challenging discipline is praying mainly because I sometimes run out of things to say....but I am hoping grow in this area by using God's promises in my prayer. For me fasting is easy as everything begins in the mind....I have aways been a determined person but I find when you I understand the why behind the fast and do so expectantly it makes it more bearable.
This yr we are growing closer to the Lord !😋💅
Thank you!
I want to be closer to God this year 2023 and apply his word to me personally.
Hello 👋🏽 thank you for your videos. I stumble upon your Daniel fast 21 days, while I was doing the fast. I honestly didn’t know much about it but it was in my heart to just do it. Now watching this video is confirmation of everything that needs to be done. Thank you again !
service is my easiest because its in my nature ,fasting is the most difficult
Prayer and Bible reading/bible studying are easier for me than the others. I need to work on public worship and fasting. I just moved to a university out-of-state, so I plan to find a bible study group that fits with my schedule.
