- Well, I'm back to Gran Turismo 3 to now showcase cheat codes on my gameshark disc. I demonstrated cheat codes for GT1 & 2, now for GT3. This time round though, I didn't enter any codes myself. Why you may ask? Simply because I can't do that on a gameshark disc! Trust me, I tried entering cheats before, but they never work. I've heard that it was a Gameshark problem. Which is fine as the disc has most of the codes I would want to use. The only ones left I want to use are cheats to get access to the hidden cars.
Anyway, as I'll repeat from this video; I can't help you much on adding codes yourself here. I never tested to see if any codes I find on websites work since my disc won't even let me use the codes I add.
Anyway, here's links to websites to enter these cheats yourself. However, I don't know if they work exactly since I didn't enter them.

I remember back in the days that you could purchase a cheat cd you had to put in your ps2 after the game was loaded in. It gave you EVERYTHING

You put cheat discs in before the game disc so the game boots with the codes on.

So, back when i would codeshark this game in my wee teen years, if i put on too many codes i would get an absolutely terrifying gameplay glitch where when a race would start, if the car in pole position got tapped by another car or hit a barrier, it would immediately shoot off into the sky or skid around the track at insane speed and make a horrifying high pitched noise as it passed you. On the mini map you could actually see the little dot indicating the car fly around the screen as it flew around the map doing barrel rolls. Made for a lot of hilarious moments, cause you could tell when it was coming and it would scream by so fast you couldn't see it and knock all of the cars around, sometimes propelling your or another AI's car through the track and thousands of miles an hour. Ever experienced this before?
It reminds me of the hp modifier cheat, you can just take any car in your garage in modify its hp by a lot. I remember doing it to make a 1500hp Mini Cooper once.

Which Game Shark did you use? I have GS2-Version 1.3 and whenever I enter codes manually, they never work!!! Which one did you use that has the codes pre-loaded onto them??? Thanks!
Do you need a pc to use the gameshark codes for gran turismo 3, or just the ps2?
You can use a PS2 GS disc for these cheats. Ones made from 2003 or later will likely have them already. Adding new ones is another story.

Hey, I know this is super late but where did you buy the game shark disc ? Is there one specially for gran turismo 3 ? When I googled it I saw an action replay for gran turismo 4.
I don't know, I didn't buy it. My parents bought me it for a christmas present when I was just a kid. It was probably blockbuster when they were still a thing.
You're better off searching Amazon or Ebay for the disc now.

@@RandomCarGuy17 Hey, so I finally got the gameshark disc but unfortunately it's not working, my ps2 can't read it. Have you ever had any disc reading issues with your game shark disc and do you have the fat ps2 or the slim?
@@WAViiClif Yes, I have and that's why you ought to check the condition of your game discs. You're going to have to get a disc cleaner off the internet or try another method.

No, you can't automatically unlock all cars with cheats. You can use cheats to make winning and buying cars much easier.

Check the links in my video description or just google Gran Turismo 3 gameshark cheats. That's basically how I find gameshark cheats for anything.

I don't have GameShark or any CDs. In germany, there is no chance on ebay to get it. What should i do? Move to other country?? xD
Have you tried to find AR Max or Codebreaker?
So do these only work for gameshark?
I don't really know. I have never experimented with these on codebreaker, so I couldn't tell you. You would have to google search that.
I know that the gameshark codes work on PCSX2 though since I have tried those before (it's tedious to do so though).

When I play GT3 on an emulator, I just use a gamesave I downloaded from gamefaqs.
You probably would be able to find a pnach for your copy of GT3 just by googling it. That's usually how I find things.
