Cutting Mystery Thundereggs // What's Inside?

  • Unfortunately at the time of filming my big oil slab saw is down for repairs, but we can still cut some smaller eggs in the meantime, so let's see what's inside these mystery thundereggs by giving them a cut on the Hi-Tech Diamond trim saw.
This is also a good opportunity for me to do some more blade testing.
    Thanks for watching.

Thanks for sharing the exposition of those stones Jared. Agree, wholly that you cannot expect them all to turn out awesome. I recently decided to cut through a bunch of teggs and 9 in a row ended up with plain opal! 🤨 Obviously from not only the same bed but same seam of bubbles too! haha So then I begged and pleaded with the rock gods to please let me cut a thunderegg with something different than the plain opal...lo and behold, on the very next cut...Solid rhyolite~😂🤣 Just the way the rock crumbles I guess~ Thanks again, have a great rest of your week~
