Imagine being someone who has never seen a front bottoms video or any pictures of them and this is their first video they have seen.
They would be so confused

This was my first music video I saw from them and yes i was very confused sometimes still are
funny enough by buddy just told me he thought this is what the band looks like but the guy in this video is my friend Stephan from the band The Big Easy!
My boyfriend showed me this band. The first time I heard them I thought they were pretty shitty, but damn does this grow on you. I really can't figure out why because I never listen to stuff like this. I guess maybe it's because the lyrics are so simple but strangely accurate in every way. They are like thoughts you would have right before you go to bed. On the surface, they make no fucking sense, but while you are having them they mean everything.
+TonyTheFreakFisk way better than pop and rap in my opinion, at least bands like these have true meaningful lyrics. Some lyrics made be so simple, but has a seriously deep meaning to it.
Turkey Bird I thought that too at first. I think it’s cause melody wise they’re not that great, and it’s more talking then singing, so at first when comparing them to radio bands or big time emo bands, they’re kinda blah. But lyrically, when you pay attention, they’re really emotional and pretty deep, and all of a sudden every song represents something in your life. And I think that’s why people fall in love with their music.

I love the way they have matured. HELP still has the beautiful lyrics you come to expect from the front bottoms plus a polished clean song. I've loved these guys since they didnt even have a label, I couldnt be more happy with the direction they are taking. TFB!

I couldn't be more stoked for the front bottoms to gain the attention they finally deserve
But it sounds like their raw sound is getting dimmed down a bit by fueled by ramen, or maybe that's their own choice
Samuel Ervin honestly its just a growth thing. you could tell with TOTH that the production value had improved and guitar riffs were more prominent. this is just them growing and finding a more dynamic sound
Thomas Donofrio I guess you're right. I've seen it happen with bands before, there's going to be some changes but it's not necessarily a bad thing.
Nonetheless, I can't wait to see where they go with this album.

+Samuel Ervin yeah, it was their choice. They stated in an interview that they are glad that BOT is more 'polished'.
I wish these guys would've signed to Run For Cover. They'd fit in perfectly with teen suicide, Basement, Citizen, and elvis depressedly. I see they're still keeping the emo influence while still mixing it with folk and punk. Stoked for the new record!

+TheKratnoff folk punk and emo punk are rather similar sounds. Like modern baseball is emo and they're pretty similar.

this is the first song I've ever heard from them and I legit thought the actors were the actual band, until I began to obsess over them like any regular teen does and found out about brian, matt, and the rest of the gang. I was bamboozled from the start

i've been a huge fan of these guys for years and they've gotten me through alot! i've been lucky enough to see them 3 times and speak to brian for a brief moment and he is just the most genuinely nice person. i'm excited for this upcoming record and i hope they do a big tour again soon

It has the same TFB style lyrically but you can tell they are maturing musically and it still sounds amazing. I've been a huge fan for a while and they have never put out a song I don't truly love.

Fueled By Ramen so awesome
Fans of these guys since the beginning. Each album they put out just gets better and better. So amazing watching the front bottoms develop as a band. I was lucky enough to see them live last year, and I'll get to see them again in November. Maybe even possibly, again at warped xD
So many of my favorite bands are under the same label now.
FBR and Hopeless Records are my favorites I can't even play it off.
