Gary, Excellent interview with Jan, thank you for this and all of the great work you do for the recumbent bikers and trikers. The BULK is a very intriguing machine.
I just want to clarify that my test riders that did not fit were because they had very long legs and very big feet. I haven’t had one with a shoulder fit issue and definitely not a belly fit issue 😂
he wants to make sure people know it's a bicycle and yet he puts on a sticker that says muscle car. That's not helping, especially for the American audience :p
I will be getting mine with that decal, because I think it does appeal to people who understand that gas guzzlers have nothing to do with muscle. This is the real muscle car, and I doubt that people who like gas guzzlers over HPV's are our target audience.
I agree with you to some extent, it might have been better this way: Bülk: the Real Muscle Bike. I have a feeling Americans will get the reference to the word Muscle Car still. I also like the No Motor stickers some velonauts in the USA put on their bikes. The point is: it really is bike and not a car.
There are a few different slogans ambassadors can pick. Several of us in the US chose Pure Pedal Power instead. I see Saukki has chosen this slogan as well. The Real muscle car is cool, but only if you already know that it is a bicycle.
Bike camperers are now all over youtube and it seems to be like a new VW camper movement. Cant wait to see more campers at spezi

What is your height, inseam and weight?
Thanks for the details on that and for defending the American "aerobelly", Ben!
@@johnyang1420 I am short. My torso is unusually short due to scoliosis. I think my x-seam is 43 inches. I’m 5 ft 5 in 130 lbs.
Me including, we need a cheaper version and wider
